The Beast

Angel and David arrived the café at 8:50pm. The café was full of people who looked like thieves and gangsters.

The men's hair were long and the women's makeup was all dark and black, but what makes them same is that all of their clothes were black.

Angel was breathing hard and was coughing from the smell, "I think I have mistaken the café. This is not the simple elegant café I have seen before''

"Even if I have never came to this place, I am not feeling good. I will never try to come to this place."

The people in the café were looking terrible, some were drunk, some were smoking while others are playing casino except a lady who was sitting calm on a chair. She was wearing a very tight brownish short pants and a loose black shirt. She examined Angel and David. She stood up from her chair and lightened her cigarette, her makeup was all black. She walked to the guests and stood in front of David.

She placed her right hand on his shoulders and smiled a wicked smile, "Hey Davi, how are you baby? Did you bring my money?"

"I am not really fine because of you. Where is my mother? I brought you the money before the decided time, so where is she?''

"First give me my money.''

"Well, no, I will not give you the money until you return me my mother."

"Ok if there is no money, there is no mama"

David became scared and was losing courage, "Ok, ok I will give you the money'', He stretched his hand with the bag of money and she was going to take it.

And here Angel hit his hand away with the bag and stood in front of him facing her, "Well miss Livia as I think, we can make it a hand by hand process. We give you the money, you handle us the mother, and what do you think? If you refuse we will return back to our home with the bag''

Angel smiled cleverly while Livia was standing still with an open mouth not understanding of what is happening.

Livia became a little bit angry but she calmed again, "You are a brave girl to say that but I have no problem.''  

She shouted "jack bring the mama''

A guy came with an old woman sitting on the wheel chair.

She looked at her and turned again to them, "Here you give the money to him and he gives you the woman''

David was going to go but Angel stopped him and took from him the bag and went to the guy. As she said it was a hand by hand process, she give the money and took the mother and moved the mother to her son.

David was going to jump from happiness when he saw his mom. He went to her, hugged her tightly, he was crying but he just kissed his mother.

His mother was smiling and crying, "That's my boy'' the sweet mom replied wiping tears of her son's eyes

Angel was smiling happily with tears on her eyes.

When David and Angel were going with his mom Livia smiled and called them, "Hey Davi, you didn't tell me about your new girlfriend, who is she? Did you bring her from the action movies or from the refugee camp?''

And everyone in the café laughed on them.

David was trying to be calm in return, "No she is just a friend who offered help and she is better than you by 100 times, ok"

Livia became silent and the guests went achieving their mission successfully.

Angel and David got inside the car with his mom on the backseat sleeping tired

David looked amazed while he was driving, "Oh wow I don't believe it, how did you do that?''

Angel giggled, "Well I am always brave in like these situations. And I felt your wife was tricking you when she asked for the money first. Do you know why I told her that we will return if she refused? That is because she loves money and she will do anything for getting money.''

"You are a genius!''

Angel was smiling "well that was not that much and it was just a moment plan, nothing else. But your wife is really a scary beast!''

Both laughed

Davi looked at her and gave her an envelope

She took it and opened it, it was full of money she was astonished.

He smiled "this is your money, 400$ for helping me, thank you "

"But I asked you 300$''

"I know, this is for your courageous deed there.''

She smiled for him.

David drove her to the hotel where Angel reserved. Angel went down from the car and took her backpack and looked at his mom then at him, "Take care of your mom properly ok?''

He smiled, "Ok goodbye, may be you will meet me again, but in your wedding this time. Here, this is my number if you are inviting me''

He handled her a card with his number in it.

They said goodbye to each other. Angel booked a room, she was so tired of the day, and remembered how she stood in front of David's wife. She laughed wondering, "I can't believe that I talked to her in that way. I have never been so brave like that''

And she slept hoping for the next day to be also exciting as today's to find Ash.
