They both looked at each other and laughed.

''Let's do it right away. Leo must be looking for me right about now''

''We need to go to a place where we can summon souls to take you there. You can only get there using the spirit of someone who is about to die''

After taking the good omen from the ghosts, Maris shook the glass container and smiled proudly.

''Wow, today alone we got ten more souls in addition to the 24 making it a total of 34 souls'' Maris said.

''But, we still need 16 more souls to make up for the number. Will we be able to get it done before the time elapses for Nicole?'' Lizzy sat on the grave and asked.

'Aye, let's not be pessimistic. Since we are able to get this number. 16 isn't much. We will get there in no time'' Maris tried to console them

''Have you heard from Nicole today?'' Candy asked.

''En, she told me that things were going as planned. Priscy is going the way they had planned''

''That's such a relief'' Candy sighed.

''What about Ray? Why can't we still find evidence to prove that he killed me?''

''I was thinking. You girls said you searched everywhere in his apartment but didn't find anything. What if the evidence isn't at his apartment? What if he roams with it everywhere?'' Maris looked at them.

''His car. We never searched his car, Lizzy''

''That's right. Why didn't we think about that before?''

''I will send these to the grim reaper. Find out where Ray is and communicate to me. If he is really possessed by an evil spirit as the grim reaper claims, then it will be dangerous for you two to be around him. Not only is he capable of hurting you, he might even devour you''

''Alright, Lizzy let's go and find that murderer'' Candy stood up.

Arriving at the hospital, Detective Gail [Azar] took out his phone and ID. He walked over to the doctor at the OPD counter and asked in a polite tone.

''I am detective Gail and I am here to oversee the arson victims' case. Can you show me where they are?''

''Sure, if you go straight and turn left, you will see the fire emergency room. They are there''

''Thank you'' he turned to Ray and said to him, ''let's go''

At Ray's apartment, Lizzy and Candy went to his two parked cars and started to look inside as they chatted.

''He usually doesn't go out with these two cars. He likes using the blue Ferrari SF90 Stradale. He must have gone out with it''

''Then, let's find him. I will see if I can locate his whereabouts'' Candy said and closed her eyes. A flash of images of Ray filled her mind. It went on for a while before it stopped and she opened her eyes.

''Hospital. He is at the hospital'' Candy said.

''What is he doing at the hospital?''

''He wasn't the only one there. I saw Detective Gail with him. They were with a group of arson victims''

''What is he planning to do?''

''Wait, I think I might know what he wants to do. Ray is with him, what if he is trying to awaken his subconscious mind in the real world? That is only possible if he gets souls to accompany his spirit and connect his mind with the real him''

''Lizzy, we don't have much time. We need to stop him. I can't do that on my own because Azar's powers are stronger than me. Go and find granny or the grim reaper. If they are able to close the gate between the real world and this place, then Ray wouldn't be able to get to Nicole and harm her. I will go and find out what is going on with them and communicate to you''

''Alright, be careful'' Lizzy said to Candy and vanished from her sight.

After assembling the five souls, Azar went with them to the roof top of the hospital together with Ray. The souls stood in front of him listening as he spoke to them.

''I have a special mission for you five. If you are able to do it, then I will make sure I get revenge on that man who did this to you. I will avenge your death on your behalf''

As Azar spoke, Ray who was standing at a distance looked at the empty space curiously. He couldn't see the souls of the dead victims but their vengeful energy was strong. It was a pungent smile that emanated from within them because of the cruel way they died.

As he felt their energy, he begun to believe that such things really existed. At first, when he found out that Nicol could communicate with the dead, he was scared but now he wasn't anymore. He was rather fascinated that such kind of people really existed in the world. He desired such a gift.

Imagining how his life was going to change any moment from now, his spirits raised and he felt delighted. He was anxious to get in touch with his real self. He couldn't wait to put his two hands on the neck of Nicole.

''You will accompany him to the real world and show him where the gifted child is. You will protect him as he accomplishes his aim and you shall bring him back safely here. Then, I shall make sure that the man who killed you is taken care of'' Azar said and the five souls nodded their heads.

''Now…'' he turned to face Ray, ''lay flat on your back and close your eyes''

Ray smirked and did as he was told. He laid on his back and closed his eyes.

Azar asked the five souls to stand at either side of Ray. One at his feet, one at his head and two at his sideways.

''You will follow and guard the gate connecting the afterlife and the real world. I will protect all of you form here''

The souls all bowed before him and took their positions.

Azar walked over to the head of Ray and squatted beside him. He placed his small finger on his head, near to the left ear and started some enchanted.

As he did the sky begun to change color.

''Where is granny?'' Lizzy ran around the graveyard looking for granny. She noticed the change of the sky and became alarmed. Her fears growing increasingly.

At the same time, Candy arrived at the roof top and was about to stop Azar when a red circle appeared bridging a line between them and trapping Candy inside.

''I knew you would try to stop me so I made the orbit to trap you. Now, even if Adasa comes, they won't be able to stop the pyramid from crossing over and merging the two worlds as one. He is already interacting with his real self now'' she said and laughed.

Candy clenched her fists and glared at him helplessly. She couldn't move out of the orbit without an enchantment and she couldn't use any as of the moment because she was still grounded after the police incident.

''Don't think you will win. Nicole won't die that easily and your plans won't ever come to fruition'' Candy said to Azar and she laughed.

''Seeing you try so hard, my heart is touched, but what to do? This has already started and there is nothing that can stop it from happening. But, I really want to see how Nicole will fight for her life. Not being able to reach her redemption before her death. Such a tragic ending!!!'' she snickered before looking up at the now reddened sky, 'oops, it seems that he has already attained self-awareness. Tsk, tsk, human beings are the cruelest. How did things become this bad?''
