The crow could be heard screeching.

In the meantime Arya had figured out how to use the system. She was currently browsing through the different panels while waiting for the lifeblood to be acquired.

It was currently at 97 %.

Arya was calling out inwardly several commands.

Instantly on her left side a window appeared.

"Oh! They are all at LvL. 5. How amazing!" She read through them, and for some reason it filled her with excitement. As she looked over the status she noticed the last line. It took her some time to figure out what it showed, but finally she understood.

"It must show how often I have used the skill! Interesting." She figured that based on the 0.98 which stood under the explanation for Lifeblood Acquisition.

"Does this mean I can only use it 5 times! Oh! Then I ought to save them. I don't know where they might come in handy."

Arya had made up her mind. When another message popped up.

A timer, looking like this ! [10:00] appeared in her right light of sight counting down. She was still looking at the slimy white grass but due to her stop in movement the grass was no longer entangling her any further.

"What a time limit? Oh no! How do I open the Chat Function?"

Arya was panicking. She tend to do that once pressure was placed on her. To her surprise Ninja the next moment the timer faded. And three messages appeared.

The first two were notifications regarding quests, one telling her she had completed the Lerner's quest.

Arya's eyes widened as she read the message.

"So this exists as well. Interesting!"

In her line of sight another 'Quest Completed' message had appeared.

Arya looked to the left side of her vision where a window called chat was opened. Currently there were several messages, quests and interfaces open at once. They all had a nice crimson glow.

"Ok so this is a chat right?" She thought while looking at the window.

"Did you just answer?"

[Host has been answered. Correct!]

"So you can respond to me?"

[Correct!]

"Why do you always say correct then?"

"Ah. I get it. So what are you?"

"And what can you do?"

"I see. So can you grant me abilities?"

[Correct!]

"Why kind of abilities?"

"Ok. I get it. Now, what happens if I use all the uses of my skills? Do they just stop bHuh? So my assumption was wrong! Do they have a timer when I could use them? The last line, is it a counter of usages?"

[Wrong.]

"Oh…"

"Then hat Happens when the counter is filled?"

[Something.Ok… will I still be able to use these exact skills?"

[Correct.]

"Uhh. Can you tell me what happens after the counter is filled?"

A notification popped up.

"Cool, so you won't show me the quests contents anymore! It was a bit to much text."

"Do you answer with correct if you agree with me, I am correct with my statement or if I say something here the answer is yes?"

"Ok. So should I check out the quest now?"

[Correct.]

"I will. But how?"

"Open Quest" Arya thought.

A window popped up over the chat, the many windows were starting to annoy her so he decided to try out the close command.

"Close everything but quest panel."

Instantly every window closed except for the quest panel.

"So this works as well. Closing several at once. Crafty of me."

In the middle a crimson glowing quest window was revealed, showing several quests. Arya was astonished, there were several quest she didn't know of.

Her face widened, and a cold shudder overcame her. "Death? As a penalty? I must be seeing things."

Arya closed the window several times and opened it again. Still the penalty remained the same.

"Open chat."

"Hey, would you kill me?"

[Wrong.]

"Of course the penalty is death! So, it would be that you would kill me. So why?"

[Wrong.]

"Please! I will die… no good."

[If Host is stuck, hunger kills.]

"Oh-"

She didn't really think about why the system would offer death as a penalty. It was good to know that it wasn't the system that wanted to kill her.

"Close panels."

The window dimmed and vanished shortly after.

"So the system won't kill me. Reassuring."

Before she could sink deeply into her thoughts, a message appeared.

Arya's symbol on her palm lit up. The crimson outlines looked magical.

Shortly after the would of the bear began to glow as well, his blood transformed into the same crimson liquid with these bright glowing orbs. Te mist formed a stream in the air and connected to her hand.

Once an orb made contact with the hand it lost its brightness and vanished. With each drained orb the bears eyes became more lifeless. After ten seconds the draining stopped and the bear dropped, like a husk, to the ground.
