THE DEAL

PIPER’S POV

The sunset is telling me that the day has ended but I haven’t heard from Crater.

The last time I saw him was in bed sleeping before I got off to check on my plants.

I have brought in new plants and instructed the gardener to transfer them to their new pots.

I spent thousands of dollars on my plant orders and their transportation.

Yes, I do not bother very much about the cost. My plants give me happiness like babies smiling on their new flowers when they bloom or those shiny leaves always brightened up my day!

The day seemed so busy re-potting and working with the landscaping company for our garden expansion, surprisingly, I forgot about Crater.

During lunchtime, the restaurant manager told me that he left in the copter in the morning and Scarlet was there in the clearing, sending him off.

And here I am, facing Ms. Heatherfield inside her office.
