Chapter 1: Prelude to Destruction

2 hours before the First Scenario.

The car door opens, a skeptical child enters the car of her father, his wife already sits in the front passenger seat. He stares at the door of his apartment.

"Something wrong dear?" The wife asks him. He snaps out of his day-dreaming and goes to sit in the driver's seat with her.

The wife has a smile on her face.

"Ready for your first day of school dear?" She asks them.

The child has a hesitant expression on his face. It's clear they're nervous.

"Don't worry Enkthur. This is part of life. To grow up as a person." She says.

"She's not gonna know what those words mean you know. She's only 6." He chuckles to himself lightly.

The car leaves the parking space as they go off to her school.

1 hour and 20 minutes before the First Scenario.

The car parks in the parking lot of the First Mongolian school. Ganbaatar guides his child out of the car gently.

He holds her hand as they go to the front of the school. Enkhtul tightens her grip as they enter the front door.

"It'll all be fine." Ganbaatar says.

Enkhtul walks into the crowd of kids, before eventually dissapearing into them.

"Do you want to stay for her?"

"I wish we could. But you have work don't you?"

"I could leave the car for you."

"Are you going to walk home?"

"Yes. I can't come to work in my casual clothes." With a kiss on her cheeks, he walks to the door.
