Dorothy woke up back in her room.
"Alright, Dorothy?" Malvonia asked.
She sat up, "Yeah. I was trying out a new Spell, at least to me."
"Quite risky. Even doing it without a Wand." Malvonia gave her some tea.
Dorothy drank it. "Yeah. And after being stunned by... a stun gun, was it?" Malvonia nods. "After feeling that for the first time, I thought I was gonna die or my heart was about to stop."
"That's quite normal. You should have seen Almira when she was struck by lightning. She was nearly cooked if I didn't react first." Malvonia remembered as she showed her the picture of it.
"Woah! Never seen her burned before." Dorothy is shocked to see the amount of burned skin.
"Took her nearly a couple of years to fully healed up. She did admit to me that she wanted me to pull the plug on her."
"Pull the plug?"
"Oh, right! You're not familiar with that term, nor it wasn't invited at the time. It's quite a miracle she survived it or else I cease to exist." Malvonia said as she looked outside. "I honestly don't know what to do if she died on me that day."
"Would you get to keep your magic?" Dorothy asked.
"That would be dangerous." Malvonia stood up as she lay in her cat tree. "Because a Familiar outliving their master is such blasphemy. Unless both Master and Familiar agreed on becoming one, both memories and body will transform into a new person. Like nothing had ever happened at all."
"Oh." Dorothy looked down. "Does it happen?"
"Been recorded, and rarely been witnessed." Malvonia replied. "Now, time to get back to your Wand. Why haven't you made a perfect Wand? You have all the tools, but no Wand?"
"I've been trying to think on a Wand, but I couldn't find what image I could think of." Dorothy drank up her tea then laid back on her bed. "I just can't find what to think of as a Wand. I've been looking through this booklet here and found each one interesting, but none of them felt right. Starting to see why Wand making is a trial and error type of situation."
Sign. "Quite so, but at least a newborn Witch would have a temp Wand till they build their real one."
"I might stick with the one with the gemstone string, but I also got that Witch's Dual, which I stupidly accepted."
"Yes. That is stupid, against a Salem Witch that had a history of killing. Which you'll also have brought down a friend to your early grave." Malvonia licked herself.
"I'm gonna take a flight for a bit." Dorothy stood up and grabbed her broom.
"Don't go too far. Almira will worry."
"I won't." Dorothy went out to the balcony to fly up in the air.
The broom felt up on her crotch.
Thinking to herself.
"This is a feeling I can't get over."
She looked around to see a couple of Witches that were just flying around the area. Looking quite dumb due to being a new born Witch.
"I don't know why I can't find a Wand to use?! I like the traditional Wand looking design, but it doesn't' feel right! I can't seem to pick out a random design, or copy another! I just don't know what to do! The only thing I can do right is flying, but I can't get this uncomfortable feeling of having something up on my crotch."
Dorothy is frustrated and irritated.
Looking down to see a couple of practice spellcasting and Witches are modifying their brooms.
"What in tarnation are they doing?"
Dorothy glides down towards the Witches. She watches them as they're making some kind of bullets and knives. Looking up to the farmhouse to reveal it's called the Witchcraft.
Looking back at them but one of them is standing in front of Dorothy.
5' African-American girl. A-cup. Age 16. Dreaded short hair, mixed coloured. Loose shirt. Jeans. Sneakers.
"What's up?" She asked Dorothy.
"Sorry to stare. I was just... staring." Dorothy is slightly scared as her heart is pounding harder and harder.
"Kayla!" One of them call out.
"Yes, Layla?" The girl in front of Dorothy is Kayla.
Dorothy chuckled. "That rhymes."
"We do get that." Kayla smiled back at her.
"Um, may I ask you a couple of questions?" Dorothy asked them. "What are you doing with your Brooms?"
"Oh!" One of them, a 6' African-American Witch, is showing her the broom. It's a rifle with the same wood of her wand, a pair of pistols. "Just customizing."
Dorothy look at it odd. "Such an odd broom."
"Brooms have to become as advanced as our Wands, we need to be creative. Brooms can double as our weapon of choice or match our personality." She smiled as she's taking aim.
"What's your story?" Dorothy asked them as she's leaning on her broom.
"We both came from the 80's then I was reborn 20 years later in the late 2000's. I had like 20 different Wands before landing with these bad girls." She posed with the Rifle Broom over her shoulder then stretched out her arm with her Pistol Wand. She and the other girls next to her have hair strings attached on their belts.
"Quite advanced." Dorothy looks at both Wand and Broom. "And her?" She points at Kayla.
"Reborn 40 years later. Early March this year." She answered.
"So what made you think of these?" Dorothy asked as she pull out a notepad to get some notes.
"Remind me back in the days at Louisiana. We used to be part of a gang chapter, but not in the main group, but was used as a hoe." She sat down. "Actually, my boy at the time, he was a notorious killer before I was turned into a Witch. World haven't change when I woke up, but still a lot of killing does happen."
Dorothy looked uncomfortable of the subject.
"Sorry. The name's Layla Jackson. Former hoe, and now the leader of the MGK Guild."
"MGK?" Dorothy is confused as she think to herself.
"And this is my sister, Makayla."
"Hello!" She waves at Dorothy.
"Good evening." Dorothy nods at her.
"Magical Girl Killer, if you're thinking of the MGK wording," Layla seemed proud of it. "They remind me of these rich bitches from school that I used to be bullied. Thinking they're hot shit till they meet me." She smiled. "Now in this world of being chased down, I just love that thrill."
"Um, back to the broom." Dorothy is completely uncomfortable with the topic. "You can make a broom out of anything?"
"Yeah, girl!" Layla smiled. "If it flies, then it flies. It makes you a Witch you want to be."
"Brooms are such a hassle to do, but Wands are a pain." Makayla seem to be tired.
Layla placed her arm around her. "Nah, sis. You just need to find that thrill."
She seem to be uncomfortable as Dorothy. "I don't really need the thrill..."
"Wait a minute, aren't you the whitey that made a Witch's Dual yesterday?" She remembered. "Because if so, this is a great opportunity!" She shakes Makayla.
"Opportunity? For what?" Dorothy asked as she put away her notepad.
"For my little sister here to prove her worth!" Layla smiled.
"I don't want to bring other people into my problems."
"Don't worry. It been something I wanted to put Kayla here." She smiled. "So it's all cool, girl."
"Then let's say if I could skate? Does it count as a broom?" Dorothy asked as she tries to change the subject.
Layla laughed. "A pair of skates?! That's a new one! Mine as well make your Wand into Slippers while you're acting it!"
Dorothy then had an idea hit her. She decided on a Wand that'll make her unique.
"Thank you, Ms. Jackson! Thank you for the idea of my broom and Wand!" Dorothy is about to leave.
"What about the Witch's Dual?" Layla asked about it.
"Still decline to invite her into it." Dorothy reject the offer.
"Now I'm not asking." Layla eye glowed as she pull Dorothy in then and forced her to cut the palm of her hand then Makayla does the same. Forcing them to agree to it.
Layla walked up to Dorothy. "You're welcome from the broom idea." Pat her arm as Makayla also didn't feel like she agreed to it.
Dorothy gets on the broom then flies back to the Bad Apple.

Dorothy sees Almira leaving the farmhouse.
"Mrs. Green! Can I do this as a Wand?" Dorothy walked up to whisper the Wand.
Almira leans in. "Don't know why you wanted to whisper, knowing that we're the only ones here." Almira nods, then astonished over Dorothy's Wand idea. "Are you crazy?! And the broom too?!"
"That's correct! I'm gonna start making this Wand right away! Is there a furnace I can use?!" Dorothy grabs the equipment as she rushes down to the Farmhouse.
"Um, should be..." Almira points at a different farmhouse that has smoke coming out. Almira joins Dorothy.
"So what kind of Wand is she making?" Malvonia asked as she saw Dorothy fly up to Almira quickly.
"One of a kind." Almira smiled.
She walked down to the Farmhouse. When she enters the Farmhouse, she sees Dorothy's station being lit up as she does construction on her Wand.
Walking up to the station to see Dorothy, being happy over the idea.
"So what do you..." Almira walked up till Dorothy interrupted her.
"I might need these to be around my foot size! I'm gonna make a new Wand! Something both you and my mother would love. Shoes!"
"That's crazy, but I'm curious to see it happen." Almira grabs the gemstones. "So how will this happen?"
Dorothy is too busy dismantling the broom while putting her shoes on the table.
She signed. "There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home."
"Why repeat that phrase?" Almira asks if she's looking at her shoes.
"Because my mom would say that whenever she feels homesick from the market or away from home. So I tend to say it whenever I need to think of her." Dorothy replied.
"Never heard you say it before." Almira asked.
"Because I had you." Dorothy said that flattered her.
"Oh!" Almira smiled. "Well, guess let's figure out what to do first then. So don't waste those." Almira brings out the previous failed Wands. "Because we got spares to make first."
Almira starts taking the Wands attempt into pieces then slowly making them into shoes.
"I honestly can't believe the first thing I recommend is your Wand." Almira said as she's making heel handles first.
"I didn't know it till now, but thinking about it, it made me think of skating." Dorothy said.
"Have you been skating before?" Almira asked.
"Never had."
"Then why skating?"
"Because it looked fun when I heard about it, then I wondered what it would look like in order to fly with it. Plus, since survival is the key, I want to do something that can serve both as my getaway ride and weapon, mind as well as both." Dorothy explained.
"So where did this crazy idea come from?" Almira asked.
"From Layla Jackson who also goes by MGK, I think?" Dorothy revealed.
"Oh!" Almira noticed but had the feared tone in her voice. "So you met the Magical Girl Killers? More specifically, Layla Jackson."
"I thought it was just her, till she mentioned the Guild."
Almira continued with the heel work. "No. It's a Witch's gang or Guild in this case. They wanted to hunt down Magical Girls. Many Witches wanted to kill Magical Girls, so they joined up with Jackson. Honestly, I would recommend staying away from them. Because unlike me, I kill for survival. They kill for sport."
"For sport? Like do they keep any kind of trophy?" Dorothy remembered the hair, but didn't want to bring it up.
"Their hair. Have you noticed the hair?"
"From their belts, why?" Dorothy asked.
"They cut the hair of their kills. Sometimes, even fingers if necessary." Almira said.
"So are there other Guilds like the MGKs?"
"Not really, but there are other Guilds out there for different reasons. Like Webster wanting to rebuild the Victorian Dames, in order to keep her once best friend's dream alive." Almira sees the sword handle. "As for me, I just tend to be independent. I prefer to survive than be a gang member." She laughed it off. "So did Jackson ask for anything? Because I hope you didn't say no to her."
"Want this girl Makayla to be part of my Witch's Dual." Dorothy fill her in as she continue to work.
"And you allow her, right?" Almira awkwardly laugh.
"Yes I have. After she pull me in, and forced me to accept it." Dorothy added.
"Good to know." Almira smiled at her.
"If that's the case, then I think I know what Johnston wants in her Guild." Dorothy said as she's modifying her shoes.
"So why the furnace? You never explain that part to me." Almira asked as she grabbed the Silver and Ruby.
"Well I want to make it unique, so why not make Ruby and Silver slippers? One per side." Dorothy grabs the gemstones. "So I'm gonna melt the stones and put them into the slippers."
"Slippers? I would use the heels instead." Observing the heel tip. "Because that would make the most logical state."
"Then let's make the sole part as the broom while everything else will be the Wand." Dorothy is tapping the sole bit.
"We gotta make these slippers from scratch, but I'll admit, won't be the first I made these kinds before." Almira is glueing the shattered Wands into the slippers base. "So what kind of Guild are you hoping to make?"
Dorothy stopped herself. "Why me?"
"Since my Apprentice, I got to route for you." Smiled.
"I had no real goals, but don't know why you think I could lead a group. Since Abbie possibly would be the winner."
"Just try and win then. Because you got this." Almira back patted her.
Malvonia enters the room. "Do you need assistance?"
"We need you to start the furnace. Because we got some ruby and silver slippers to make! We need the outer shell, while I work with the inside stuff!" Almira ordered.
"Right away!" Malvonia grabs the Ruby and Silverite then rushes to the furnace with the material.
"First off, we're gonna teach you how to skate. Because skating is gonna be important for you." Almira pulled out a picture of skating. "This will be tricky for you, but quite simple afterwards."
"Then guess I'll learn how to skate." Dorothy smiled.

Ollie is observing them as she's carving up some wood. Angrily stares at a picture of herself and a Witch, perhaps the one who made her into a Witch?
"I'll bring these Witches down. If I got the baddest crew..."
She remembered a team of Magical Girls burning the Witch alive as she watched several months ago.
"I can't let those bitches kill me!"
Ollie is crawling back after looking like she has been beaten down. Seeing the Magical Girls, about to kill her.
"I ain't gonna be hunted down by such Magical Bitches!"
Angrily snarled as she remembered being left for dead till she found herself a cat, Johnny, licking her on the cheek at the water.
The shadow of a wolf is slowly walking up to her, but Johnny defended her as she slowly back crawl in tears. She cast a blast onto her, then grab Johnny to teleport away.
"I won't be another victim!"
