Next Day

Dorothy is on the phone with Lorona, early in the morning. 'And how do they know that we're here?'

Lorona is freaking out then sweating out of fear. 'I saw Billy Knight. The High Wizard of AllTrans. He came here, and threw the Catch-Up Cabin under. So you better watch out today or tomorrow.'

Dorothy is sitting back at her chair as everyone else is finishing up their showering and brushing their teeth. 'How bad are we expecting?'

'Maybe a couple from the Top 300, but if they're up there, then that means they must be strong. Stronger than you three up there.'

'Well do you know who one of them is? So we know what we're working with?' Dorothy grabs a notepad to write down the name.

'Her name is Brittany O'Reilly. She's basically a perfect girl from my school. Everything she does is always perfect, but couldn't reach the Top 300.'

'And how powerful is she?'

'Honestly, never seen her work before. I guess she was expecting to reach into the Academia by her looks alone? But the other Top 300 should be more of a concern.'

'Alright then, I'll ask Kayla about it.' Dorothy turns to her. 'Kayla, know anything about Brittany O'Reilly?'

Makayla is looking to think about the person in question. 'Location, and Locket please?'

Dorothy repeats to Lorona, then she answers back to Makayla. 'San Diego, and Mythological.'

Makayla closed her eyes and thought if she had entered a database of knowledge, and pulled out some names till she found the file under Brittany O'Reilly. Looking through her record then opens her eyes.

Walking up to Dorothy then grab her phone. 'Sorry, Lorona. We'll be right back, but thanks for the heads up.' She had ended the call then placed it in Dorothy's hand.

'Is there something wrong, Kayla?' Dorothy asks.

Makayla is staring at Dorothy. 'Yes.'

Olivia walks up to them. 'Then tell the boss what's wrong? Is this O'Reilly that tough?'

Makayla looked at both of them then took a deep sign. 'Brittany O'Reilly is someone who has been giving the other Salem Witches' Guilds a hard time down in California.'

'Describe "hard time", please' Olivia asks.

'Out of all of the Vigilantes Kill List from the MGK.' Makayla brings up the Top 300, 'That's been bothering me that she wasn't on here, because she could have easily been the top ranking ones.'

'I would have to make a call right now.'

Dorothy stood up then dialled up the number of Mia Engel, waiting for a couple of rings till a tired Mia answered.

'Hello?'

'Engel, I have a question?'

'For what for? I'm tired over here! I've been up since 2 am.'

'Yes, I apologize, but do you have any Neo Brauns from the state of California, more specifically, San Diego?'

'Used to, but they have to pull out due to Emma's orders. But San Diego? We keep losing operatives there, and I had to manage to break them out before being shipped to the Iron Maiden Prison. Why?'

'Have you dealt with O'Reilly? Brittany O'Reilly?'

'The Fairy Gal? Yeah. Tough bitch to deal with, actually, I was prepared to face her during the Vinyard since she's a flyer like us. Why's that?'

'We might end up fighting her, but what can you tell me about her?'

'All I know is that she's a real bitch to take down, and that was after she had beaten a High Wizard at that point.'

'Oh! So she's something like me?' Dorothy is slightly turning blue.

'No, not really. Just because you may have beaten Emma was a mere fluke. But Brittany, she's one of the few that even gives Salem Witches a problem. If you want help, I can provide aid but that would use one of your 4 deals, and you would be down by two.'

'No. I might leave by the time they will be here.'

'Alright then, that's smart on not using one of your deals.'

'Actually, I might use one since I'm curious about something. Can you bring me cottonwood lumber to the Bad Apple? So I can work on my Broom.'

'Sure. I'll do that part for free from our agreement, but I'll accept cash payment though.'

Dorothy pulls out her wallet and opens it to count her money. 'Would a couple hundred do?'

'I'll ask Jo to send a field worker for it. How many?'

'About two trees would do for now.'

'Then I'll expect an e-transfer from you.'

Dorothy is completely confused. 'Sure? I'll e-transfer the money.' Turns to Serena. 'Can you help me with the e-transfer stuff?'

'Fine. But I want a cut of the money though, I don't want to be under Becky's budget.' Serena gives off a smug look. 'I doubt she'll have money at the end of the day.'

'Fine. Kayla, let her have some of my money then.' Dorothy turns to her.

'Alright.'

Back to the phone call. 'So that's what I want to know, Engel. Anything else would do fine.'

'There is one thing I neglect to mention though.'

Showing concern. 'And that is?'

'She does have a kill count on her, from what I heard from the Witches that are located near San Diego. So there's a heads up, and if things get too dangerous, you can always cash in another favor, and the Neo Brauns Army will be there for the rescue.' Mia seems eager while Dorothy is annoyed.

'Thanks, but we will be fine on our own. So buy, and I'll e-transfer the money to you. And text your email to Makayla, she's my treasury.'

They greet each other off then hang up.

Dorothy is leaning onto the wall. 'That's the last thing I want. Help from a Nazi.'

'I don't like the situation myself, but I do recommend running and hiding, Dorothy' Serena said.

Dorothy turns to Serena. 'Actually, I've been told that one of the first lessons was. Mrs. Green always hides when things get tough. Because getting help from a Nazi is the one thing I don't want, especially for Kayla and Ollie, from the hell I send them to.'

'Still owe you a punch, Dorothy.' Makayla said.

'So, boss.' Olivia is arm stretching. 'How about you call it early, and just get through the rest of the lessons in one go. Darien and Johnny can take us back home. I can file a stolen vehicle, and we can say it's a Witch that stole it.' Olivia gives out a cute cackle.

Serena tilted her head out of amazement. 'That's actually quite intelligent of you, Cassandra.'

'Thanks. But it's an old trick that Sandra said to me when she wanted to escape the authorities while getting her vehicle back at the same time.'

'Still.' Makayla leans down. 'But what Lorona said is that they'll be here, so it's most likely they'll be at Aspen. Not too far off from here. But I do agree with Ollie's plan though. We need to dump the truck somewhere, quite literally actually, and just go back home right away lessons are done.'

Dorothy is thinking about it. 'Well, my only concern is if the town of Wendy will be under attack if there's no Witches here?'

'I'm sure Lady Beatrice will be enough for them to handle. The Sister Society aren't a bunch of pushovers either, so they might have a good fight. The Pink Lightning and the Dark Skies though, are my real concerns.'

Olivia spoke up. 'I think they might be one of those Guilds that will fight for the short term then call it quits and try to run away if it gets too long to kill a Vigilante.'

'That's the goal, as long as civilians aren't caught in a crossfire, we can leave once I get my catch up lessons done by today. So girls, better pack up early.'

'Such a shame.' Serena stretches out. 'I was actually quite enjoying myself here. But I don't want to get caught in another fight. So I guess I can head home early.'

The door knocks while everyone looks at the door.

Dorothy shrugs then walks up to the door, opening it up to reveal Ambrosia with her Familiar, Charlotte.

'Um? Good morning?'

'Good morning, Ms. Gardner. I have one question for you?'

Dorothy is confused as she replies "yes" to her.

'Do you have room for another new member?'

Dorothy is at a loss for words then pops out to see if there's any other Witch to see, but it's just Ambrosia and Charlotte.

Serena, acting like a cat, cuddling up to Ambrosia and Charlotte. The latter picks it up and pets her.

'Um, may I ask who wants to join?' Dorothy seems to know who but wanted to ask anyway.

'Myself, Ambrosia Branwen. I want to join your Guild, if you may.'

Dorothy is looking back, then both Makayla and Olivia shrug, then turn back to Ambrosia.

'That's very kind of you, wanting to join my Guild, but,' Dorothy grabs Serena and pets her in her arms. 'I'm not really looking for a new…'

Ambrosia immediately leaps down to hold Dorothy's leg, crying comically. 'Please! Let me join! I don't know where to go after this weekend!'

Dorothy and Serena freaked out, Serena ran to the room as a cat, while Dorothy is dragging Ambrosia into her room while Charlotte is just watching.

'Can you please let go of my leg?!' Dorothy shouted.

Both Makayla and Olivia are trying to pull both Dorothy and Ambrosia away from each other.

'Is there a "no" in Gothic language?' Dorothy asks

'That's a real language, Glinda.' Makayla uses Dorothy's Witch name.

'Then no! I'm not looking for a new member for the Wicked Witches!'

'I don't even have a place to live! I was using one of my friends' place to live in!'

'Wait?! What happened to them?! What happened to your Guild?!'

'After the Witch's Dual, they said they're looking for a new Celestia and they booted me out. And by booting me out, they just left me here to fend for myself!'

Dorothy calmed down. 'How long have you been a Witch?'

'Two weeks!'

'Two weeks?!' All three of them shouted out, being surprised by her answer.

'I only started like three months ago, and how long have you been the Guild Leader?'

'About one week.'

Olivia looks down at Ambrosia. 'Now I can understand. Boss, this isn't new. Many Witches actually do this more often than not.'

'Huh?!' Ambrosia is looking up at her. 'Why?!'

'Because I had killed some members of the Pink Lightning to show why I should be a leader, but they don't have any strong members.'

Ambrosia is shaken out of fear when she hears Olivia had killed members of the Pink Lightning.

'But even so, you should have shown dominance by knocking them down or two, even the boss here had managed to beat us three into submission.'

'Three?' Ambrosia is looking around to see if there's a fourth person here, but it's just them four in the room.

Charlotte walks up to Ambrosia then leans down at her side. 'I recall that all three of these Witches here, and a fourth one, Margaret Webster's apprentice Abigail Bones had a duel up here before.'

The Wicked Witches are quite surprised to hear her saying that, regardless of being Ambrosia's Familiar and despite that event happening months earlier of her rebirth.

'How do you know that?' Makayla asks.

'I was a spider living at the Bad Apple. I tend to hear many things, and when Master Ambrosia here gave me intelligence, so does everything that happens at the Bad Apple came to me. I tend to understand everything that happens during that summer. Even on how you met.'

All three of them are looking at each other and surprised that a Spider Familiar is here.

'But what happen to Ms. Bones? And to Mrs. Green? I had the impression that Ms. Dorothy Gardner here would attach to her.'

Dorothy's head pops up as she recalls that she was using her legal name before splitting and changing it for the modern times, and for both Magical Girls and Witch's alias.

'Dorothy Gardner?' Ambrosia is confused.

'Yes. She was quite a spunky young lady as she seemed more confident right now. I'm surprised that one summer made you give off such a look.' Charlotte is examining her facial. 'Speaking of which,' she looks at the other two. 'You two seem to have changed just as much, despite you two having such a violent past.'

'Let say it's one hell of a summer.' Olivia answers.

'As for Abbie and Mrs. Green, I'll tell you what happened. Not all of it, but I'll keep it short.' Dorothy walks Ambrosia to a table and sits across from each other. 'So this what happened.'
