Conviction

Later that day.

Becky is boxing with Esmeralda, both in their Vigilante forms.

"Come on!" Becky lands a punch that nearly knocks her out.

Sitting up while being dazed. "Ouch...!"

Getting up but her legs wobbles.

"I'm starting to see how powerful you really are. Even Dorothy have a hard time beating you."

"Barely, but she admits that she have to out smart me. So in a straight up fight, I would kick her ass. Which I did already." Becky gives out a chuckle as she smiles brightly.

"But how come I can't learn any special attacks like everyone in the Wicked Witches can do? I've trying to fly, but can't. Can't use fire powers. There's nothing I can't do but just enhanced strength and speed, but any Magical Girl can have those. So what makes me different from the rest."

Esmeralda sat down then try to solve this issue of hers as Maria is giving her a bottle of smart water.

"Maybe..." An idea pop in her head. "I'm the chosen one!" She stood up. "Once I enter the battlefield, I will manage to open up an OP that I will spam over and over again. And this final fight against the Neo Brauns, I will become the best Magical Girl ever. Then I'll create world peace between Witches and Magical Girls. So simple!" Rubs her nose as she have such high standards.

Becky spoke up after she said it. "You have no conviction."

Both of them turn to her, confused.

"Esmeralda here have no conviction on being a Magical Girl."

She goes up to Becky's face. "I have conviction! I'm wearing the uniform and everything! I bet I can beat you in a fight, like how Dorothy can!"

Grins at Esmeralda, "Want to find out about that?" She walk back then get into a fighting stance.

"Now that I'm a Magical Girl, we're on equal footing." Esmeralda smiles as she's at the fighting stance.

Maria seem to be worried about her daughter, then she grabs her phone as it send a text.

Esmeralda took the first leap, Becky immediately rush up to her which caught her by surprised.

"What the...?!"

Punches Esmeralda back that nearly knocks her down.

Hitting and rolling off the ground, then stood up.

"Alright then!" Goes for a Glyph Shot but nothing came out. "Huh?!" Looks at her finger gun gesture. "Come on! I can do this with ease."

Becky rush up and delivered a gut punch that made her nearly puke out whatever she ate.

Thanks to her Virgin Blood and the Locket, she can heal much faster but still feeling the effects of the punch.

"So heavy...!" Holding her stomach.

"That's your problem that you have to deal with." Becky rolling her arm then foot hop out of excitement. "You lack that conviction to serve. When you're using these uniforms, you got to show your conviction. And if both Glinda and this Emma can use it for the first time, they have that conviction to their goal. And whatever your goal is, you better be prepared to fight for it. And I mean fight for it."

Becky is showing off her Magical Werewolf form as her fur is glowing.

"I may not be a good Witch, but I'm better at being a Vigilante. So I thrive in this environment."

Becky rush up to Esmeralda. She side step a punch then rolls to grab the head then toss her across.

Transform back to her normal state to use her Ghost Walk.

Becky sniffs then she leaps around.

"Pride Festival!"

Protecting herself till she saw Becky being blood thirsty as she's about to slash.

"New Moon Slash!"

Feeling the raw power, and the slash ripping the Pride Festival protection that Dorothy had a hard time figuring out. Becky slashes and cuts the stomach of Esmeralda, then spins to delivered a punch.

Quickly goes for the Ghost Walk that been smack down, Becky grins then delivered a punch onto Esmeralda who was standing to Becky side.

Esmeralda can't believe that Becky quickly caught on onto the tactic.

Landed hard onto the tree nearby, then Becky delivers a punch onto the stomach again.

She's too quick to react and to use another Ghost Walk ability.

Trying to fall down but Becky foot press Esmeralda back onto the tree.

"Now show me that conviction. Put on the uniform and show me what you can do. I had seen Blue Rose did it. I question her reasons but Matthews have that conviction. And Kenzie may be dead and have a body that scares me for the first time, but damn, her confidence and conviction is out of this world. Glinda show her conviction. But you're not showing it, and you're disrespecting the uniform. So put it on."

Esmeralda grits her teeth but shaken in fear as she can't be unable to transform. "What?"

Sign out of disappointment. "What is your reason? Mine is my brother."

Looks up at Becky. "To protect the beans all over the world. Like anybody who wants to protect the beans, I'll be there to protect them and make sure nothing bad had ever happen to them." Esmeralda stood with pride over her claim.

Becky continues to be disappointed over Esmeralda, then gave her the cold truth with a sad expression. "If I was a better Witch, then those beans would dead. And you would had die with others who came here to fight Bloody Mary, and from what I had been told recently, newbies to the MGK. I came close on dying myself, multiple times. So I'm here out of pure luck, and out of someone who wanted to be a good person. So if you want to protect the beans, they you already failed that mission as Esmeralda Cruz then ended up dead by far more powerful Witches."

Esmeralda eye twitches as she's trying to ignore what Becky is trying to say.

"And as Lorona Alegria, you would had been arrested multiple times if we didn't know each other. So either way, you're screwed."

Esmeralda shouted out an attack.

"Pride Meteor Shower!"

Becky then quickly slashes each shower.

Trying to defend herself with a couple of punches, but Becky quickly side step each strike then slap the back of her head, forcing her down.

"I doubt you had defeated Glinda, unless she was holding back or maybe her good nature attitude must had defeated herself rather than you. But regardless, if you had beaten Glinda, then you must have caught her off guard. Like how I met her for the first time."

Becky delivers a couple of more blows onto Esmeralda as she's trying to defend herself, but been easily been outbox by Becky.

"Coming from a girl who is deluded on the idea that I would become a Pink Magical Girl, you need to start taking this seriously. Or else people like me, regardless if they're Witch or Magical Girl, will bring you down."

Becky delivers another face punch.

Continue to out move Esmeralda as she's trying to use her bag of tricks. Figuring everything out on her, then fake a left haymaker for a right uppercut that send her flying.

Her self healing is starting to takes it tow, as she struggles to get up.

"Tell me, what have you done since you got that Locket?" Becky walk by her to sit down in front of her. "From what I'm seeing, nothing. Want to know why I'm still deluded?"

Esmeralda leaps up to deliver a punch that Becky took, with not much weight behind it.

"Because I wanted my brother to have a good life when I become a Pink, but knowing that I'm only good as a Green, I had to accept that. But I keep that dream of him having that life alive, because now, I have to put my back to it. So if you want to protect those beans, then you fought for nothing if that punch you can muster, then they all died."

Becky doesn't see Esmeralda, only a vision of her dead brother in front of him.

"Because if my brother die, then everything I put to into, is nothing but vain. And seeing so many Vigilantes died here in Oztown over one Witch, they had dreams that might never come true, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm not there to pick up their mess because I got my own dreams."

"I will fight for the beans, so they don't have to face evil in this world." Esmeralda got up to her feet to kick a sitting Becky, but they're like the punch with no weight behind each kick.

"But we're beans ourselves. To someone out there, we're beans but they haven't done anything to protect us." Becky continue to talk as she keep taking the kicks. "I build myself to accomplish my dreams, because I know I might ended up fighting those who are much more powerful than me. And I have, so I still gotta train till I can stand up to those who threaten others." Becky is getting up as Esmeralda last kick is still on her face. "Those Witches that I fought with Glinda last night, they put up much more of a fight than you. And from what they are, my virginity was gonna be taken away last night with whatever humanity I have left."

Slapping the foot away from her face.

"And I already saw what happen if I lost my humanity if they taken a virginity away." Becky goes face-to-face with Esmeralda who's struggling to stand up to Becky.

"And what happen if you did?"

"You wouldn't be alive right now." Becky headbutts her down that cause Esmeralda to be busted open from the strike. Grabbing the chin to pull her back up to her feet. "Knowing that the Archangels had died for nothing, I have to live up to their standards by getting into the Green Dorm. If I can't get into the Magical Girl Academia, then I too would be disrespecting this uniform."

Esmeralda tries to knock the arm off, but couldn't put weight behind the strike.

"Tomorrow morning, we have to go into war zone against the Neo Brauns. And if you can't carry your own weight, then you too will die for nothing." Becky let go. "I ain't gonna belittle you if you can fight back, but I will belittle you if you're not taking this line of work seriously."

Becky transform back to normal. Observing her look, looking at her pits and look inside of her pants.

"Wow! I can't believe I had been using a jinx Locket, and no more body hair. And..." Becky feel up her rear, "No more tail pulling too."

Maria walk up to both of them. "We got a change of plans right now!"

Becky turns to her. "Change of plans? What do you mean?"

"Dorothy managed to get the raid party, and since you two are involve, we gotta move right now. They got new Intel on Vinyard, and now both the AWM and any Vigilantes that are nearby are report to combat."

Smiles. "Alright!" Becky is excited. "Time to go kick some Nazi Witches ass! And since this Emma Wolfgang doesn't have a Guide nor have any contact info to be informed, she won't even know that we're coming for them."

Both Johnny and Darien came up to the group, in their human forms and wearing combat gear, and carrying spare Wands from both Makayla and Olivia.

Darien shouted. "Then let get the hell out of here!"

Maria turn to them. "You guys came early... Why are you two wearing combat gear?"

Darien looks with determination. "Because I gotta make up to my Master, so my goal in this raid, is getting payback to that German Bitch that put me in a hospital. So I'm gonna take him to the toolshed."

Johnny palm punch. "And this time, Darien here will get some back up."

Becky grins. "And after wrapping up a couple of those Witches down, I'll be up in the Rankings! And Esmeralda here will have some scraps, if there's any."

"So let's get out of here, and join in the fun! Abbie group at Germany is already starting their operation from what the AWM offices been telling us."

Maria looks at them. "Wait a minute, how did you manage to leave the AWM office? Don't they have those newly Anti-Teleport Tech?"

Both Darien and Johnny shows off the Lockets from Makayla's Kills.

"After that whole Oztown incident, we gotta carry these around and claim it's for our sisters."

"Alright!" Becky grabs Esmeralda then they pull together to teleport, but Maria stop them for a talk to Lorona.

"Lorona." Took a deep breath. "I won't there to protect you or be able to help since I'm a Witch. And Becky!"

She turns to Maria.

"If anything happens to my daughter here, I'll be coming after you."

"Then you better bring your A-game, because I'll be coming for throat." Becky gives out a chilling cackle as she grins.

Esmeralda walk up to them all.

"Bye, mama."

They all teleport, leaving Maria alone.

Looking up at her phone, that have a text that is send by Almira, wanting to talk with Margeret at her place at Poland.

"Alright, Mira. Let see what you have to say."

She grabs her broom then start flying away.
