Final Showdown

Before long, it was the final day of the beast trainer competition. Gio, accompanied by Bardo, had made their way to the central area of the wild lands.

As he surveyed the surroundings, Gio spotted familiar figures up ahead, making his way further he could hear noises of battle. Kai, with his snake beast, and Raul, and panther beast looked to have been already engaged in battle before Gio arrived at the central area. Each of them had traveled separately, facing their own challenges and trials along the way.

"Gio, you made it I see." Kai called out, a mixture of relief and exhaustion in his voice. His snake beast, Seraph, slithered beside him.

Gio made his way over to Kai who was leaned back sitting on the ground, getting closer he could see the dotted blood. Kai winced as he touched his bandaged arm.

"What happened to you?" Gio asked

Kai ruffled his hair in frustration "Do you know who the surprise trainer is? Raul is up ahead fighting with another trainer against him."

The distinguished trainer, known as Orion, a name that sent ripples of recognition through the crowd of beast trainers. Orion was famous in the beast industry for his unparalleled ability to communicate with celestial beasts—creatures from the skies with powers beyond imagination. His contact beast, a griffon type named Celestia, was a symbol of his mastery.

"Flying type beasts are my worst match, and his griffin can do some extreme damage just from its size, let alone it's special abilities of sound and wind." Kai got up as he finished bandaging.

"Hmm.. How many of us are there that have made it here?" Gio asked

"Just me, you, Raul and another trainer called Asher, his uniform is different from ours so he must be from another branch but he also has an avian beast so he shouldn't have as much trouble with Orion as us." Kai replied

Indeed, the central area of the wildlands was deserted, save for the four of them and Orion.

Kai and Gio made their way closer to the area the battle was taking place, there they could see the surroundings damaged by the ongoing fierce battle.

But before they could make their move, Raul took a step forward and, with a fierce determination, launched an attack on Orion.

Orion reacted swiftly, and with a gesture, Celestia moved to intercept Raul's panther. A fierce battle ensued, but it was clear that Orion was a force to be reckoned with. His mastery over celestial beasts was unmatched, and Celestia's power was awe-inspiring.

Gio didn't waste any time. He turned to Kai. "Kai, let's help Raul. We need to coordinate our attacks."

Kai nodded, grimacing from his injuries but determined to fight. His Snake beast hissed in agreement.

As they joined the fray, an intense battle unfolded. Raul knew what they wanted to do, with past teamwork between them it was easy working together. Gio and Bardo used their combined earth abilities to create barriers and obstacles, attempting to outmaneuver Celestia whenever it was in close proximity to the ground. While Kai and Raul launched swift and precise strikes, aiming for the celestial griffon's vulnerable spots.

Asher provided long-range support, using his beast Aethon's aerial advantage to keep Celestia off balance with sharp and precise attacks. Together, they made a formidable team, but Orion's skill and Celestia's power made them a formidable adversary.

Hours passed, and the battlefield bore the scars of the relentless battle. Celestia's feathers were ruffled, and Orion's expression showed signs of strain, but they to were worse for wear. Exhaustion was starting to set in for everyone.

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, a realization settled in. Despite their efforts, they had yet to subdue Orion and Celestia. Soon enough, the announcer's voice boomed once more. "Time is up! The battle may have ended, but it's clear that both sides displayed remarkable skill and determination."

The trainers pushed themselves to their limits, drawing upon their inner reserves of strength and determination. But victory remained elusive, just out of reach.

Orion and Celestia had not surrendered, but they, too, bore signs of the fierce battle. Celestia's shook its wings, revealing gaps where it had lost feathers.

The trainers and their beasts were transported back to the arena, where the other participants had gathered. The crowd awaited the results.

The host of the competition stepped forward, a triumphant smile on his face. "I present to you the final scoreboard!"

The scoreboard illuminated, revealing the results of the battle. The points were calculated, and the rankings were displayed for all to see. The crowd erupted into cheers and applause as they witnessed the final standings.

In the end, it was clear that the trainers had given their all. The competition had been a test of skill, strategy, and unwavering dedication to their beast companions.

Gio, Kai, Raul, and Asher exchanged nods of respect as they were the final four.
