CHAPTER 21

"THRUST PAD CANNONS!"

When Akehende heard this, he immediately paid attention to his surroundings. Not far from where he and his crew were fighting. He saw the silhouette of a tall man. Suddenly from the hands of the man came multiple paw-like air prints.

"BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!"

"BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!"

The paw-like attack hit multiple pirates and defeating them in an instant.

Seeing the change of momentum, the gifters that were recently fighting him decided to engage the tall figure, who happens to be Kuma.

Kuma who despite his huge figure was able to move at an insane speed, that he quickly took out the gifters that were attacking him.

"Damn you Kuma", said one gifter as he fell to the ground defeated.

Kuma nonchalantly walks towards Akekehende and said, "A marine ship will be coming here shortly".

Akehende nodded at the towering man, and said to him, "Thanks for the reinforcement". Akehende then proceeded to sheathe his sword.

"BANG!"

Deep in town, the fight between Jack and Enzo was still on-going. Both Akehende and Kuma looks in the direction where the explosion just happened.

"Yeah, I'll let you handled that", Akehende said as he commanded his crew to gather the wounded and those who had fallen in battle.

Kuma with his book on hand began to walk nonchalantly towards where two powerful creatures are fighting.

MEANWHILE:

For Enzo, the most powerful opponent he had ever faced is hands down Jack. Even with him continuously placing ice patches in his body, Jack still had more than enough stamina to use his Haki in combat as well as getting rid of all those said patches.

"AH! That was close", Enzo said as he barely managed to dodge a sword strike aimed at his shoulder.

The longer the fight, Enzo realized something. He was beginning to suffer lest from Jack's attacks. Still, on some occasions, he would get hit, but that has become less likely as the fight continued. Enzo was ecstatic when he found this out. Fighting Jack had slowly made him powerful, not just in his observation haki but in his armament as well. This is the reason why Jack had progressively become madder as the fight continued. For Jack, Enzo was using him as a whetstone to sharpen his skills. An idea that he did not appreciate.

"Damn it!", Jack said as he began attacking with far more ferocity than he had before. He had covered his entire body with Haki and no longer cared about defense, he wanted to end it before Enzo could truly become more powerful.

"F*cking sh*t", Enzo said as he tried to block the barrages of Jack sword strikes but to no avail, Jack was like a raging animal that didn't care anymore.

With a swing of his blade, Jack inflicted a sword wound on Enzo's chest.

"AH!". Enzo said as he took a knee due to pain.

Jack's figure towered over Enzo and with his blade dripping with blood he said to the wounded man, "Elder brother Queen will make quick work of you".

He raised his sword to deal Enzo the blow that will incapacitate him when suddenly,

"BANG!"

Suddenly Jack was hit in the face with something powerful that he staggered on his feet, and his metal mask fell on the ground.

Seeing the opportunity, Enzo channeled Haki on his right arm and he powered through the pain in his chest as he punches Jack on his stomach. Enzo's arm wasn't just covered with Haki, no, accompanying Enzo's arm was the ripple aftereffect of someone who studied the Hassohoken Style to a high-level mastery.

"GRAND IMPACT!"

"AH!" Jack screams as he was propelled to the nearest building near him.

"ah...ah...ahh...", Enzo panted as he fell on the ground with one knee. He suddenly noticed a tall man walking towards him.

"Tyrant...ah...ah(rough breathing)". Enzo said as he looks at the man approaching him.

"You did well surviving Jack for this long" Kuma said to the wounded man.

"Kuma the Tyrant. Why are you here?", Enzo asked.

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku sent for me to help you. He wanted me to save you. Luckily I arrived just in time", Kuma said as he kept his book in his suit pocket.

Kuma outstretched his right arm in the air, and it began to make weird noises.

"What are you doing?", Enzo said with confusion.

Kuma did not respond to him and continued what he was doing.

Enzo did not trust Kuma, no Enzo is borderline hated Kuma, not because of personal reasons, but simply because Kuma was a pirate, a group of people that Enzo hates in general.

Kuma then places his hands together but the weird sound still continued to be produced, albeit much louder this time.

"AH!", the figure of Jack appeared out of the building rubble and he was clearly pissed.

"KUMA!", Jack shouted in anger as he charges towards Kuma in his mammoth form. The red eyes of an angry mammoth were locked into Kuma, and he would not be stopped.

The moment Jack was in front of Kuma, Kuma quickly released the thing that he was holding in his hands. It was a pawlike air print and it hit Jack straight in the face, but not only did it hit Jack, the print expanded and engulf Jack within it.

"BANG!!!"

A powerful explosion happened with Jack in the center of the attack. Smoke and dust began to dissipate in the air as Kuma stood tall between Enzo and the explosion.
