18 CHAPTER 18

"Sir, is it okay for us to leave?", a marine soldier asks. After Rear-Admiral Akehende left, his crew began to capture pirates on the outskirts of the town. Some of these pirates fought back, but most of them seeing the numbers, not in their favor, they decided to surrender without much hassle.

Most of them thought that the job they had today was fairly easy. After rounding up the surrendered pirates and placing them below the warship, all they needed to do was to wait for Rear-Admiral Akehende and Enzo Lockhart to return.

But then one of the marines saw a ship that was traveling towards them, or more accurately going towards the island they were on. At first, the marines thought that perhaps it was an ordinary trading ship, or perhaps a pirate in the Grandline going towards the Sabaody Archipelago, and was docking here to gather supplies. If it was the latter they would attack the ship, they would not like them to reach the New World and increase the problems there.

But when they saw the flag that the ship was flying, they were scared. It wasn't a trading ship, it wasn't a flag of a pirate that inhabited the Grandline, no it was the flag that is feared throughout the New World, the flag was that of The Beast Pirates.

"This order came from the Fleet Admiral himself. Besides, the Rear-admiral agreed to this as well", the captain said, due to the rear-admiral not being in the ship to give commands to the crew, the captain who is currently the highest-ranking marine in the ship took command.

Seeing that the Beast Pirates were going to dock the ship in the port, the captain ordered the crew to leave the dock immediately. They took their ship and travel a kilometer away from the dock. They were lucky though, even if they were in shooting range of the beast pirates they didn't fire any cannonballs at them.

"What do we do now captain?", a marine asked.

The captain while staring at the port, where the Beast Pirates just recently dock said, "We wait", his eyes never leaving the dock.

MEANWHILE:

Enzo stared at the now-dead Piper. You could clearly see the fear in the eyes of the frozen Piper. He walks towards the sculpture and he raised his foot, and with a swift movement, he stomps his foot in the chest of the frozen man.

"BANG!"

His stomp produced a small crack in the earth while the sculpture exploded into ice fragments which became scattered in the surroundings.

"ENZO! We must leave now!", a frantic Akehende said as he grabs the arm of Enzo as he dragged him deeper into town. He already knows that the Beast Pirates had just docked on the island, he didn't want to be seen by them so he plans to hide deeper in town and wait for reinforcement there.

"AH!", Akehende shouted as his arm became a frozen statue. He looks at Enzo and he saw that Enzo was pissed.

"Tell me why we should leave? Last I check, you have no power over me", Enzo said in an angry voice.

"The Beast Pirates are here! We are not powerful enough to beat them. We need to hide before they find us. We either hope they will leave, seeing the state of the town, or we wait for reinforcement", Akehende said as he held his arm that has become an ice sculpture.

"Me weak? is that what you are saying?", Enzo asked Akehende.

Seeing the position he was in, Akehende was frustrated. He just wanted to leave the area before Beast Pirates arrives. He is a marine that knows where his limit is at, if someone powerful is commanding the ship then he wasn't sure if he'll make it out alive if they see him.

"I'm not saying that, I'm--",

"You're what? weak?", Enzo said with a mocking tone as he interrupted the Marine Rear Admiral in front of him.

"Let me tell you something Rear Admiral Akehende. This world is cruel, it doesn't matter if you're begging on your knees. It will break your back and destroy you will. Look at your surroundings, before we arrive at this place, the townspeople were happy, most importantly alive. But then Pirates came and killed most of them, while the few remained alive to be made as whores. Yet I was not deterred, I delivered the justice that they needed, the justice they want", Enzo said to Akehende as a faint aura seem to manifest out of him.

"....", Akehende could not respond, no it wasn't that he didn't want talk back to Enzo, he just couldn't bear to interrupt him. Something in Enzo made Akehende listen to him.

"Why? Why would I risk my life for their sake? Simple, I risk my life cause that is my goal. Pirates took my family, and I will eradicate every single pirate in my path. Fear has no place in my heart, for I will do my mission, even if it means death", Enzo said as a powerful aura expanded out of him.

For a while, silence filled the entire area. Even Akehende remained quiet.

Then suddenly they heard someone coming near them. The man had a massive figure, he was 2-3 times the height of a normal man, his limbs are disproportionately smaller when compared to his enormous torso. He has two piercings in his right ear and he wears spiked pauldrons on his shoulders. He carries a pair of tusks around his neck which are actually sheathed containing his scythe-like blades. His mouth was covered with a metallic mask.

Every step he took would echo in the surroundings, with him were people who were wearing the same themed attire as him. All of them had a scary grin on their faces as they walk beside the huge figure.

Sweat began to form on Akehende's forehead as he saw the man. Now, in his mind, he should have declined the mission that Fleet Admiral Sengoku gave to him. If he wasn't with Enzo right now, then he wouldn't be in this scary situation.

Akehende really didn't think that would see one of the most feared pirates in the New World. The man in front of him is the 3rd member of the Beast Pirates, All-Star.
