CH.4 - The equipment of a Swordsman

A/N : I made a mistake, in the manga they receive their status plate after two weeks where as in the novel they had it the next day they arrived and Hajime could gained 2 stats to every stats where as Kouki had 200 everywhere so the "combat practice" is only a small competition between classmate (It never happened in the manga or novel, it's an Original thing) and in two weeks they will go to the Dungeon.

"What the f*ck ?!" Hajime screamed after a few seconds of silence.

"What is "Super Sensitivity" or "Regeneration" stats ? We don't have something like this, and this stats, they are even higher then Kouki's in some of them, and he is the Hero Enkai !"Hajime said, still in a loud voice.

"Hajime shut up ! you are screaming like a little kid !" Enkai said reprimending Hajime.

"Oh yes, I am so sorry for that, but stats like are more than just cheat" Hajime replied still exited about his friend stats.

"Yeah, it's alright but be careful next time, well Super Sensitivity is stat really hard to train, it allow me to predict any move my target will do but it's really consuming mentally and regeneration is like Vitality and resistance combined, the higher it is, the faster I can heal or get back my strength or mana" Enkai said, explaining his stats to Hajime.

"Damn, you really are a monster, but you already were one back in Earth so I'am not surprised you had something like, comparing to me, I'am only a Synergist and can do nothing about it..."Hajime replied, happy for his friend, yet sad after realizing his own position.

"Cheer up Hajime you are one hundred time more useful than the garbage who's name is Hiyama" Enkai said, with a goal in mind.

"In what way ? I can only work on Iron Enkai, I can't even fight, you want me to go kill a monster with a pickaxe maybe ?" Hajime replied still down ?

"With a pickaxe ? Why not ? Ahahah, jokes asides, Hajime you are too narrow minded, you can work with Iron which mean you can create better weapons or armor for you or the class maybe you, yourself is not strong but you can always count on your weapon Hajime" Enkai finally said his goal, also hoping for something behind.

"Yes ! You are right...Hmm but I don't how to create a weapon at all Enkai I don't even know how a sword is supposed to be forged" Hajime got hyped up to only get down again.

"Damn, Man up Hajime, there is always knowledge in the library about forging, and you do not forge but you transmute, you don't have to be handling a hammer like a blacksmith. And last, who said you can only use weapon from this world, you are an otaku right ? This is your title, use this knowledge. Try to ask for some Iron to Meld" Enkai calmly explained to his friend.

"Why did I not thought about it ? Damn it thanks you Enkai, I will go to the library to ask for some book about transmutation thanks again I will be back in a bit" Hajime replied in a hype and ran to Meld to ask him about various things. This earned a small smile on Enkai's face. He went into deep thought about this world and saw a book about the kingdom and different continent.

When he was in deep thought he didn't notice Hajime coming back.

"I'am back Enkai can you help me please ?" Asked Hajime.

"Huh ?! Damn you scared me Hajime, give me that" Enkai said to his friend with a smile after being scared by him.

"Ahah sorry" Hajime said while scratching his head

"Oh right Eikan, I learned that Synergist is not a job which deal with only Iron, it's with all kind of ore, but I only asked for iron and a little workshop to train a bit" Hajime suddenly said after a few minutes of silence

"Oh ? Interesting, then could I ask something from you ?" Enkai, who was reading a book asked to Hajime.

"Ask, ask you are the only person who could solve my issue of being useless" Hajime replied, really happy since his issue was solved.

"Can you make me a daisho ? For the Katana 60 cm and 30 cm for the Wakizashi is just fine" Enkai asked his friend.

"Hmmm, I have some knowledge I will try my best to make you one but you will have to wait" Hajime replied.

"It's alright I can wait...Finally could you make 2 set please, it's for something" Enkai changed his request to his friend

"No problem, but don't you want a western sword ? That's closer to kendo right ?" Hajime asked a little confused.

"Not really, I was already restrained with a Shinai, what I learned is Kenjutsu" Enkai replied to the confused Hajime.

"Alright, then excuse me, I need to learn knowledge now" Hajime said, once again focused on his book, gaining a laugh from Enkai because of his friends antics. And focused on gaining knowledge about the continent.

Night came around and after eating with his classmate they got to sleep, well only Enkai because Hajime wanted to learn more.

Like that, morning came and it was the combat practice day came around except Hajime who asked to be excused to gain more knowledge, which gained some mockery word from some of the classmate, he was now considered the weakest in all the class. This time Enkai said nothing since he wanted to let Hajime his chance to prove himself.

"Alright everyone gather, today it's the combat practice day, it's like a test, we will test you to see where you should get better. Everyone except the non-combatant class will fight, they will test for the other alright ?" Meld said in high voice and everyone focused on him.

"I will now explain how we will proceed..."
