The Reunion 1.

After a few days I arrived in the capital Crocus. I didn't let any time pass and wanted to go directly to the castle to Hisui. The guards looked at me with wry looks. One of them tried to stop me from going through. I just showed him a card which I got from Hisui and he let me through.

As I was about to step through the gate, someone held me by the arm. It was a young guard, probably new. I tried not to look up too far and listened to him. "The princess would like to have you in the arena. I'm sure you know the tournament is currently and the princess is waiting for you there," he spoke a bit scared. Couldn't hold it against him either, he knew who was standing in front of him. Someone who received a personal card from the princess must surely be an important person.

I yanked my arm free and headed back toward the exit. She knew I didn't like being in public. What an irony, isn't it? In the past I would have given anything to be known, today I wish I would vanish into thin air. Unfortunately, since this option was not available, I had to go.

Before that, I went to a store on the way to the arena. Fortunately for me, there were only a few people on the streets, since the tournament must have been very popular again.

I remembered the time when Fairy Tail participated in it. We even won. That day I felt I had come one step closer to Natsu. In vain.

When I got to the arena, I looked for Hisui. I found her quite quickly, as her magic was familiar to me and my new powers made it not too difficult to distinguish one magic from another.

The corridors were empty, it seemed like it was just the grand finale. I entered a corridor that ended in a staircase. After only a short search, I opened the door to the discarded observation room of the Highness.

No one noticed me until here, but Hisui seemed to know immediately who was standing behind her.

She jumped up and wrapped her arms around me. She ordered the guards to leave the room and I pushed down my hood with my left hand.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
