BOOM!

A loud noise awoke Elizabeth from the slumber she was forced into, looking around once her eyes had adjusted she noticed she was in a different room.

The room was filled with an abundance of different colour schemes. Dead flowers laid in a vase by her bedside.

"Where am I?" She asked herself quietly.

Noticing she was tied down or anything, she slowly slipped her feet out of the bed, sat up and rubbed her eyes for a few seconds. Elizabeth didn't know what happened, all she remembered was being in the stable, Edward had left her in the stable by herself.

Wingston guards!

'Am I here? Did king Adrian finally get me?' Elizabeth thought to herself.

Elizabeth freaked out a little at the thought of being here instead of being near Dominic. This was the very thing he was worried about. She frowned as the whole palace fell silent, it was as if no one was there.

She didn't want to leave the room, but she knew she had to figure out where she was and how to tell Dominic she had been taken, oh how she hopes he knows.

Finally, Elizabeth got the courts to step outside the room, heading over to the large oak black door. She grasped the silver knob with her right hand and turned it to the left, where she heard a click. Meaning it opened.

Elizabeth slowly opened the door trying to not make such a loud noise, the halls were empty there was no one in sight. It was quieter than Dominic's palace and she didn't like it at all. A quiet palace was never a good one.

Who knew what they were plotting against her or Dominic and his family. Taking two steps out of the door frame, she entered the palace hallway, turning left. Trying to figure out a way down or someone who can explain this to her.

Slowly and carefully she made her way down the hallway of the palace taking in the art on the walls, each artwork made her feel uneasy. Each picture was dark and disturbing, it was as if whoever King Adrien was, he was obsessed with death or things that cause death.

Elizabeth began making progress as she noticed a large staircase leading downwards. Should she? Biting her lip, she took a chance and headed down the large staircase. Again there was the artwork displayed was the same in the hallway. More dead flowers in vases.

"Look who is awake everyone," a voice rang out causing Elizabeth to look over in terror.

She watched as the man crossed over towards her, with two men behind him. Forcefully he grabbed her left arm and pressed his lips to it.

"Who are you? What do you want from me" Elizabeth asked, yanking her hand from his grip and wiping it away.

The man looked angry, as she did that, "I am King Adrien and you my dear are going to be my queen."

Getting closer towards Elizabeth, she couldn't help but step back.

"Queen? I'm not even a princess," she lied.

King Adrien let out a loud obnoxious laugh, which caused her to lean back with disgust.

"I know you are the missing princess. I know you have the white rose birthmark," he replied.

Elizabeth tried to think of what she could say, but he already knew.

"What if I don't want to be your queen?" She asked.

King Adrien's lip curled up into a wicked smirk, "Oh, I don't care what you want. I've been after a queen for ages. You just happen to become an interest in mine, when we heard that Prince Dominic had found the missing princess."

Elizabeth gulped.

"Tell me, how did those who took you kept you hidden?" He asked.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes, "Like hell, I'm going to tell you."

He chuckled, "I see how it is, we'll feel free to roam the palace but if you try to leave. My guards won't hesitate to shoot you."

Elizabeth looked down as he stared at her, she was completely shaken by him. He grabbed her chin harshly and pulled it up to meet his eyes.

"Never look down, especially at me. That is a sign of disrespect. I don't want to harm my beautiful queen," He spoke.

Elizabeth stared into his full grey eyes, they didn't have the shine in them. That Dominic had. Pulling her head away from his grasp, she took a deep breath.

"My lord, when do you want to announce to everyone in our kingdom the arrival of the next queen?" A man asked.

King Adrien looked behind him, staring at the man for a few moments, "Well, how about we allow her to freshen up before we announce her to the kingdom Scar."

Scar nodded, giving Elizabeth a look. The left side face was covered in burns while a scar ran down from his right eye to his cheekbone, not to mention the right eye was white.

Scar turned on his heel and headed out of the room the two of them were in.

"You heard me freshen up, I'll have my maids fix you something to wear," King Adrien spoke.

Elizabeth nodded her head, slowly before turning to head back down the hallway, she needed a chance to escape or something just so she couldn't be here in this castle. Everyone gave her a different feel, it wasn't a nice feeling either.

Heading back into the room she came out of, she could see an en suite which she entered, closing and locking the door behind her.

'Please come soon Dominic' she thought to herself as she leaned on the door.

Slowly Elizabeth turned on the shower and stepped out of her dress once she untied the back. Stepping into the warm shower, her body instantly relaxed causing her to sigh in satisfaction.

Rubbing soap all over her body, she was able to enjoy the peace for a few moments. While filling her hair up with shampoo and massaging it into her skull, making sure every inch was clean.

Meanwhile, Dominic was going stir crazy as he tried getting his guards to find a way to King Adrien's kingdom, all of them refused knowing that place was a fortress.

"You don't get it, Andrew, she is my world and I need to save her," Dominic seethed.

Andrew sighed, "Your highness, I understand your frustration but until we know more we can't risk the lives of our men, especially for a girl."

Dominic frowned at his word, Elizabeth just wasn't a girl. She made him feel important, she was a perfect fit for the kingdom.

"I promise you, your highness. We will start making a plan in a few days and we will go from there. For now, we have to wait," Andrew replied.

Dominic knew he couldn't find his guards, he slowly nodded his head in approval before resuming his position in one of the man flower books Elizabeth had laying around.
