Frost Wolf Elemental

There was definitely killing intent in those eyes. It snarled at him and bared its teeth. Luciel was frozen in fear, but moved in time so he didn't get caught up in the jaws of death from that wolf. The wolf missed and didn't give him time to breath as it went to strike him with its claws. He was only barely able to deflect it with the handle of his scythe. He could barely hold his own this early on into the fight. Luciel wished he had trained his body more so he wouldn't be this weak but he didn't think of that. "Dammit."

Trying the look for an opening, his eyes darted across the wolf to see a fault. As far as he could see, there was not. Cursing again, he backed down and ran a few meters away from the wolf. It chased him and went to leap, not being able to wait to finally get some food, but Luciel had other plans for it. He darted away at the last second and struck the wolfs side. Though it only gave it a small gash as he wasn't strong and his scythe was bad.

If he couldn't cut it, then he would have to hit its weak spots. The eyes and the underbelly were his best shot at taking this beast down. Yowling in pain, the wolf attempted to bite him, but only bit air. While the wolf was distracted trying to bite him, he slid under it. Raising his scythe, he cut the wolfs underbelly. Getting up and running, when he was far away, he looked over.

It was gushing blood, but compared to how much a normal frost elemental beast would have it was pathetic. "Bloody hell, even the underside of that thing is tough!" He was running out of options. The beast was smart enough to not fall for the same trick twice. This means he'll have to go for its eyes. That way, it would be easier to attack it.

But how was the question, there was no way to get close enough to the damn thing to get its eyes. This is gonna be tricky, but I think I have just the plan, he thought. Instead of his usual, hide run and hit tactic, he started running towards the beast. Wolves usually had a great sense of hearing so loud noises hurt their ears and could possibly stun them. He yelled as loud as possible.

The wolf whined and went to cover its ears when Luciel was right in front of it. He slashed the wolfs face as hard as he could getting at least one of its eyes. For some reason, he didn't feel any fear at the moment. He thought it was just his adrenaline running, but in reality it was the thrill of fighting. Though that was short lived when he felt pain in his right shoulder. The wolf had nicked him with one of its claws.

Gritting his teeth, he jumped back but he fell due to how heavy his scythe was. Even carrying that for a short amount of time tired him out. The wolf couldn't see well now that both its eyes had blood covering them but it did know he had fallen. Pouncing at the blob they thought was the kid wasn't to hard to do. Luciel only had a short amount of time to use his scythes handle to block the wolf from biting his face off. He felt the blood from the wolfs face trickle down onto his. Staring at him with such violence that he felt was only going to multiply.

Gnawing at the handle, the wolf tried to use more power to break it. Luciel didn't know how the hell the handle of this thing was so durable but he wasn't complaining. Though it hurt so much for him to even hold it. His shoulder was gushing blood out like a waterfall and the cut limited his movement. He knew he was going to die if he didn't do anything fast.

Yelling again, the wolf ceased its gnawing and backed up a little. Seems like that was one of the only effective ways to get it to back down. He knew the wolf couldn't see well, so using that to his advantage, he ran back up to the wolf. Then slammed the blade as hard as he could right in between the wolfs eyes.

He stepped back and watched the beast fall to the ground. The beast stared at him one last time and closed its eyes. What the wolf saw was not that of a child, but of a monster.

Luciel had fallen back and started laughing. "I did it, I DID IT! ITS DEAD!" He said over and over until he couldn't anymore. Getting up, he limped back over to his tent. Searching for his first aid kit, he tended to his shoulder. After doing that, he walked back over the the beast to try and pull his weapon out. He tugged and pulled, but to no avail. "How in the world did I get this in there?" He thought aloud.

When he finally pulled the scythe out, something strange happened. It looked like the wolf had started turning into dust, or, looked like something was sucking the life out of it. He realized that "dust", was going into his scythe. After it was done, the beast was nothing but a pile of bones. Luciel stared at it in confusion an amazement.

"If it could do this, why did that weapon smith let me have it for free? Did he not know it could do this?" Running over to where his grimoire is, he opened it. He saw that his level was now 11, and his stats raised a little. He then flipped over to where his items where. As far as he knew, there was no such item known in the world.

-Reapers Scythe-

Only a fool would mess with the one who holds this, this scythe will take the life essence of dead magical beasts or people it has killed. Every time it kills a strong beast, it will enhance the scythes capability. This weapon can also be compatible with having magic imbued in it. Many skills will be born by using this. While this is very rare occurrence, one can obtain a magical trait of something they have killed.

After reading the description, he realized this thing could have sold for millions and millions of gold. He was dumbstruck to how such an item would exist without being known for such a long time. After seeing it could create skills, he went back to see if he had gotten anymore. Sure enough, he had gained another.

-Killing Intent-

Used by predators to scare prey, it will stun low leveled animals and beasts. Its also very effective against weak willed people.

-

"I got killing intent from a frost wolf elemental? I thought I would get some type of frost magic. Wait, why didn't the beast ever use any magic?" Being a magical beast, he surely would have thought it would use magic. Did it just not know how?

The reason the wolf didn't use magic was because it was a young one. And being young, they would usually stay with there mothers until there a full adult.
