Chapter 04: The investigation started

Mr. Justin's phone rang. When he picked up the receiver, Inspector Richard Holt, from the other side was saying:

"Is it a program to keep my children at your house all night now?"

"What do you mean?", Justin Raymond was shocked.

"I am also surprised by your shock. So they have already left your house?", Inspector Richard asked quickly.

"Yeah! They should have gotten home much earlier." Mr. Raymond said nervously.

"Oh, then there must be something wrong, I'll go and search for them," Inspector Richard said in a state of anxiety.

" I'll also search them with you.", Justin Raymond replied.

"No, don't bother, I'll find them.", said Inspector Richard, placing the receiver and he hurriedly told his wife about the conversation he had on the phone and then left the house in his jeep and headed for the road from which leads to Justin Raymond's house. He was moving fast, and was looking around. After searching for about ten minutes, he saw a crowd somewhere. He push the brakes and asked the spectator,

"Why is it so crowded here? What happened here?"٫ Suddenly his eyes fell on a house that had become a heap of rubble, he asked in a shock,

"Hey! What is this? What the hell happened here?"

"It was Judge Harry Wilson's bungalow, sir! There was an explosion half an hour ago and the whole house was reduced to rubble. The occupants of the house were found unconscious a few steps away. They have all been taken to hospital." The spectator said.

Inspector Richard thought for a moment and then moved on, but Daniel, Aaron and Ella were nowhere to be seen. Moving further, he found Justin Raymond. Justin told him, that he couldn't find any trace of those three  from the house to the spot.

"Then we'll have to go to the hospital and see if the three of them are involved in the accident.", after saying this he told Raymond, everything about what happened to Judge Harry Wilson.

"Hey! He's a good friend of mine, I'll go too." Justin Raymond replied.

When they arrived at the hospital, they were told to go in a large room. The victims were kept together in that room. There they saw Daniel, Aaron, and Ella. All of the regain consciousness By the time they both arrived. Mr. Harry's face lit up after seeing the sight of Justin Raymond. He said enthusiastically:

"Ah my dear friend, how did you know about this incident?"

"I found about this by coincidence, how are you feeling now?", Justin Raymond asked.

"I was just lucky, God sent these three angels, otherwise I would have died by now." The judge said looking at Daniel, Aaron and Ella.

"Angels !! But these are Inspector Richard's children.", Raymond laughed.

"Wow, it was great to meet these three brave children and their father.", the judge said excitedly.

Inspector Richard smiled and rushed to the doctor to get them all discharged, and Justin Raymond talked to the judge. The trauma didn't have much effect, so the doctor allowed them to go, but the problem was that, Mr Harry's house was destroyed. Justin Raymond's suggested that the Mr. Harry can stay with him in his house until Mr. Harry's own house was rebuilt, while the judge did not wanted to be a burden on him and he intended to go to his cousin Mark Wilson's house with his family. On hearing that, Justin replied:

"Mark Wilson hasn't been here yet and since I came first, so I have the right to take you with me and anyways nowadays my wife and children are not at home."

"But my cousin wasn't notified yet or else he would have came here immediately. We can notify him and wait for him here."The judge replied.

While both of them were arguing with each other Inspector Richard interrupted,

"I think it would be better if Mr Harry accepts Justin's request, as it would be easy for us to catch the culprit like that. And we'll also figure it out that why that person wanted to kill you and your family, who he is and why is he after you.... After reaching Justin's house, the first question that I'll ask you will be that, how many people are against you?, you should start thinking about the answer right now. I'm taking this case in my hands from here. because you're Justin's friend so you're my friend as well. The police will come, ask questions and investigate on their own, and I will continue to investigate this case in my way. It is very important to find the culprit, if he has attacked once, he can do it again, as long as he is alive." Inspector Richard said without taking breathe.

"Oh! I suddenly remember that today in the morning I received a mail, in which someone threatened to kill me."

"That's great! We can take it as a clue. Mr Harry where can we find that letter? Can we still find it under the ruins of your house?" Inspector Richard said with some hope.

"No, I handed it over to the inspector in charge of our area." Mr Harry replied disappointedly.

" That's great too. Please tell us the name of that inspector.", inspector Richard said.

"Inspector Jordan." Mr Harry answered.
