Have you ever been so fascinated by the allures of books you've ever read and adored that you start longing to be a part of something seemingly unattainable to achieve but so badly desired? "Be careful what you wish for," they warned. And my name is Selene Lilith-Rose Potter. And you're reading my story. The Whimsical Adventure!

²A Promise

(A/N: It's been so long since I've watched the movies and I haven't read the books yet, so some words might differ from the original words. But hey! On the bright side the thought is still there, different but still has the similarity to it. I'm only using a mobile data so I can only do as much. I'll try, key word try, to do more research about Harry Potter, so don't get your hopes high but please bear with me for a while, thank you very much for your patience.)

{Number 4 Privet Drive}

Early in the morning, around five, I awoke. In order to keep myself occupied until they awoke, I got ready, cleaned, and completed all the duties I could find. I also prepared breakfast in honor of "Dudley's special birthday," as Petunia put it. At the ready, I took Vernon's coffee and placed it on the table.

When Dudley—my overweight cousin burst through the door, he yelled something to me about going to the zoo or whatever blah blah blah, probably in an effort to get a reaction out of me. Of course I ignored him; I wouldn't feel envious over something so trivial. All for the love of chocolate, I was a young person with a soul that was 19 years old, 29 if you add the ten years of living here.

In order to avoid being perceived as "freakish" by my magic-hating relatives and to experience less abuse, I have been secretly hiding my magic. To be completely honest, I'm actually surprised that it kind of worked; all I had to do was get up early to use magic to help me with the chores in secret to avoid being punished, and I also had to carefully dumb myself down so that I didn't reach Dudley's level of intelligence while also making sure that I didn't fail; passing grades would have sufficed. Anyway, despite a "few" changes—actually, more than a few changes—here and there, a few things continued to occur or play out just as they did in the film.

"Ahh! There's the birthday boy!"

Is it possible that he was actually a pig disguised in human skin? He certainly seems the part, I mean. Since there are already three animals present within this circus-like hellhole known as the "Dursley residence," I don't think it is necessary for us to visit the zoo in order to observe more. For instance, Vernon the ugly blue Walrus should really get himself examined out by a qualified physician or not even better. Petunia the shrieking long-neck Giraffe may compete with a Banshee in a screeching/screaming contest and win. And finally, Dudley the foolish, gluttonous Pig, who is comparable to Zeus' no-brain cell in intelligence.

"I want everything to be perfect for my Dudders special day."

I observed them from a nearby corner, occasionally zoning in and out of their chat.

"How many are there?"

"36, counted them myself."

"36?! But last year last year I had 37!!!"

"Yes, yes, but some of them are quite a bit bigger than last year."

"I don't care how big they are!"

What a selfish, spoiled brat. At the very least, be grateful that you still receive gifts. Not everyone is as fortunate as you are. Just like me.

[time skip brought to you by Draco on a pink tutu and a ballerina shoes ~how adorable the white peacock wants to dance hehehe~]

"I'm warning you now, girl, any funny business, any at all, and you won't have meals for a week, now get in."

I was inside the car heading to the zoo because Mrs. Figgs [yep, Albus Dumbledore's obvious spy] had 'sadly injured' herself and couldn't keep an eye on me. Thank heavens for that...

Nothing out of the ordinary or strange occurred in the zoo, so I'm fine.

However, it has been ten years since my rebirth. Ten years had passed since the catastrophe on Halloween eve, the day I became the so-called 'Saviour' of the Wizarding world, but also a night of immense loss for me. I lost my lovely parents and two wonderful uncles that night. My parents were murdered at the hands of a derange dark lord by a cunning old coot. One uncle is fleeing and hiding with his furry little problem and a tail tucked between his knees, while the other uncle was unfairly imprisoned for crimes he did not do and is now wallowing in his own guilt in the prison of Azkaban.

You may be curious as to why I remained with the Dursley. Why not run away? Naturally, I stayed to prevent the old coot from finding out. I already have a strategy in place. I haven't been slacking off for the past ten years, despite the fact that I may have appeared weak to the others and to those around me. I grew more powerful as the years went by. There is only one thing I need to wait for.

{H O G W A R T S L E T T E R}

I'll leave everything behind the day I get my letter.

Enemies of the heiress...beware,

Vengeance will be served.

This is a promise, so mote it be.

For I, Selene Lilith-Rose Potter, always get what she wants.

Always.
