She's Always Mine

I raise my head and my eyes become soft seeing her crying. Another memory had enters my mind.

'Drakey!' my little mate calls me.

She ran to me and collides with me with a hug. We fall on the grass and she keeps on giggling while I suffer from the impact. I was just seven while she is four. We were so close to each other and everyone looked at us with admiration. It is the sign that we are soul-mates.

'Lavi... how's my princess?' I asked. I missed her quickly after I had been at school all day.

'I miss you Drakey...' she squeezed me tight and I giggle.

Then we run around with Laurence. When night comes she will cry and cry when I am not with her. She won't eat when I wasn't with her. She was a spoiled one. Ludwig will just shake his head. She's playing the piano mad when she wanted to see me. I was possessive too and hate other boys played with her.

'Come...' I offer my hand to her and we run in the forest.

'Drake! Laura!' our parents called.

'Not so fast kids.' Ludwig appears from nowhere. 'Come on. It's already dark.' He carried my Laura in his arms and he took my hand.

She was on the piano lesson with Ludwig playing Chopin's Nocturne. I was watching them and listening to her playing the piano. Laurence threw a piece of paper to me. I rolled my eyes and took it. It says: Don't get too close to my sissy! I throw it back to him.

'No! You said that it's B flat!' she argued with Ludwig. She's talking like an adult.

'I said it is D flat.'

'No. Don't fool-fool me Ludy!' she crossed her arms grumpily. Aw... she's really cute.

'Okay, Baby... you win. Play it for me again.' She played the piano again.

I walk to the corridor and heard my parents talking. They are talking about me and my Laura.

'We need to apart them until they are at the right age.' My Mother speaks.

'She's getting too much and becoming more spoiled.' Her mother said. 'I don't know what to do with her. It's like she can't live her life without him. We need to apart them and make them live without each other's side for now. Then, they will meet at the right time.'

'This is getting hard, honey. Drake gets furious if you take her away from him.' Dad said.

'Drake is getting too possessive and bully to other kids, Alpha.' Her father told. 'Drake needs to stand on his own at first. We know that they are meant for each other but let's give them the whole world first. They might forget that people exist after and before them.'

'Beta Enzo is right, hon. Drake and Laura need to be apart—'

No! I am not going to be apart from Laura. She's mine and no one is going to make us apart. I am too obsessive and possessive and afraid of losing her. That night at the party, I grabbed her to me.

'Drakey!' she hugged me and I hugged her back.

'Lavi... come with me.' I took her hand and we run out of the party.

'Where are we going?' she asked me.

'Far away.' We run until the forest.

'Why?' she stopped which makes me stopped too. I faced her and scoop her cheek.

'They are going to break us apart. Do you want that?'

'No!' she shook her head and bit her lower lip. 'They are going to take me away from you?' she nibbles her lips and started crying.

'That's their plan, Lavi. I don't want you away from me. Will you come with me so they won't ever break us apart?' she nods and wiped her tears. I wiped it too and kissed her head. We run to where I pack a bag for us. I took a hood cloak and put it on her. Then we run and run until we reach the end boundary.

'You are not going to leave me, alright?' she said.

'I am not going to leave you.' I said it while running. She pulls my hand and we stopped walking.

'Promise?' she asked raising her pinky. 'Drakey!' she started crying again. I wiped her tears.

'I promise.' And I intertwine my pinky finger on her. 'Don't cry now.'

'Where are we going?' she asked again.

'We are going far away from here and find a shelter.'

We run and run again far away from the pack. I don't know where we are but she's tired so we have to stop.

'I'm tired...' I took a bottle of water from my bag and gave it to her. We sat under the tree. I put my arms around her while we lean on the tree. 'I'm sleepy Drakey...' she hugged me and leans on my chest.

'Okay, sleep now.'

'You are not going to leave me, okay?' she said again.

'I am not.'

I had slept for an hour and when I heard people coming I had come back to my sense. I wake her up and hushed her. I am not going to lose her and I won't let anyone come near to us and break us apart. She hugged me tight shoving her face on my chest.

'Drake!' my father calls. 'Come out!' I hugged her tight.

'Drake! Laura!' they call.

'Victoria!' Laurence calls. 'Victoria where are you?' he sounds so worried.

Dad had found us. Laura screams and hugged me tight and I did too.

'Let her go now, Drake.' My father orders.

'No!' I yell at him. 'You are going to take her away from me!' I cried and hugged her tight.

'Don't leave me Drakey!' she cried to me.

'Laura... let's go, baby.' Her mother called her. Laura shook her head and hugged me tightly.

'No...'

'Come on Laura. Let Drake go now. Let's go home.' Her dad said. We didn't release each other.

They have no choice but to pull us. She screams and cries when they are pulling her away from me and my dad pulling me away from her.

'No!' I scream. 'Laura!'

'Drakey...' she cried. We hold each other's hands while they are trying to let our hands fasten from each other.

'Hush now, honey...' her mother said it softly. 'It's going to be okay.'

'Drake let her go... please.' My mother said and I saw tears in her eyes.

'No! You are taking her away from me!' I scream at them.

They succeeded. She started screaming calling my name and I was too. They break us apart. And I was locked in my room. Ludwig enters my room and sat beside my bed.

'Please bring her back to me.' I beg him.

'You will understand soon why we are doing this, Drake. It was for your good and it was for her too.'

'No! It wasn't for us! You said that we are meant for each other! You said that she's my mate and now, why are you breaking us apart?!' I scream at him.

'You need to learn to be on your own.' He told me. He put me to sleep.

In the morning all the memories I have with her are gone. I never know who she is. I never saw her again. She and her parents together with her brother left the pack. Only Laurence will come back and play with me. We become best friends though sometimes we are far away from each other.

I woke up from my unconsciousness and found her in my arms. I was hugging her tight while she's unconscious. She's my mate, my Laura. She was always mine and they break us apart. Now, I won't let anyone break us apart. And Damon whoever he is; is going to pay for what he did to my mate.

The door bang opens and it was Laurence. He's mad at me for marking her as mine. No, she was always mine.

'Get off her Drake! How dare you mark her against her will?'

'Fuck of Laurence. I had been away from her. She tried to reject me while they are controlling her. I won't let anyone break us apart again. Even it is you.' I said it straight to his eyes. 'She's mine...'

'Drake, do you know why our parents take her away from you?' he asked me. 'It is because you are too possessive. If you live with each other from childhood, she won't feel how to live in the world.'

'If they didn't take her away from me, she won't suffer from the guy who raped her and make her a monster.'

'What?' he suddenly looked puzzled.
