Chapter 12- A Werewolf's Mate

Karto's POV

I was blushing as she hugged me. Something moved my soul, something deep within. We came out of our embrace.

"So who is your mate them?" I asked.

She sighed remembering, "Okay well, he is smart, handsome, caring, and he-"

"Wouldn't you say that about anyone you like?"

"It's it's you Karto. You are my mate."

"Wait me?"

"You have been feeling the electricity between us right?"

"Yeah I have. That kinda make a lot of sense. But something I don't understand is why my senses have hightened. Humans don't have that happen if the get a werewolf mate right?"

"On the occasion it does happen it is usually the female humans that experience sensory changes and not the men."

"So what does that mean for us then?" I asked.

"We'll we can do anything for a few years yet by pack law or there could be serious consequences. And the bond hasn't gotten strong we've only been drawn close."

"Good then there is no hurry then."

"Yep."

A male voice called out, "Abril!!"

"Karto I have to go now. You're free to use this place at anytime."

"Okay," I chuckled, "Maybe I'll use it to get away from curious eyes?"

"Hey! Those eyes are those of your mate!"

"I'll catch you later at school tomorrow."

Abril waved and ran back towards her house. I stood in place. H was right. I had more questions but I had to finish getting my things together for school.
