Luc's Predictions

(From Demetrius's Perspective)

"I expected you to call me," Luc said as he sat in the chair in front of me.

"What are you talking to my wife about?" I asked.

After she had fallen asleep, I had summoned Luc from the magic tower. I had no idea she was taking things that way.

When I found out what she was thinking about, it was hard to control myself. I was angrier than ever. But the things she said- she had a point. And it was true that I did not bring her here because I was in love with her. I just had no idea why I wanted her that time.

There was a blankness in my mind whenever I tried to think about what the reason might be. It was as if someone removed those thoughts of that time from my mind.

"So, she realized it," Luc chuckled.

"It's no matter to laugh about," I said bitterly.

"I can't believe she told you those," he said.
