Sometimes I fear the bird might fly away.” “The bird doesn’t have a home. The outside world is dangerous for it. And besides, the bird has already found its freedom inside,” I said. “The bird won’t fly away.” ‘So you don’t have to cut its wings since it did not grow them in the first place. It’s okay. Destroying The Path

(From Blue's Perspective)

My heart was pounding in my chest as we walked through a dark tunnel. The only source of light was the small lanterns in Perita and Calix's hands. There was an odd smell in the air as if this path had not been used in years.

Just moments ago, I had been standing in my room, confused when there was literally a war going on outside. Perita gave us a signal which was a small blow of a whistle. Calix heard it as well as everyone except for me. My hearing was not that strong.

Ruby clutched my hand tightly. We had found Evan near the hallway and he was blocking at least fifteen knights with his power. He had changed his appearance in split second. It would be very bad if someone recognized him. I told him to come with me, but he insisted on staying behind to stop the mages.

Doctor Dimitri was nowhere to be seen. We had to leave him behind. I noticed how slow I was.
