When I open my eyes, Lanis is not next to me. You have to understand, I have been through the worst of things, so when I think something bad has happened—you can't blame me. 

I was right to be worried. I mean walking into the basement and seeing Lanis over Cassius. I don't even know what the fuck is going on but before I can react, he is feeding him his blood. This is crazy. Lanis would not do anything to help Cassius.

He hates the guy.

I grab Lanis by the collar of his shirt but Cassius is already looking alive. The color on his skin seems to be coming out. "What the fuck Lanis,'' I shout making sure I don't hurt him with my aggressive push. He falls to his feet but, his blood spilling out of him.

"No,'' Gyles shouts so loud. I didn't even notice him.

How is he speaking and normal right now?

I guess Cassius cured whatever was wrong with him.
