164 Fifteen minutes to spare

Rest for the rest of the night and face tomorrow head-on. That was the plan, but I have been unable to close my eyes. as long as Cassius is still alive, I don't think I can sleep. I have been tossing and turning all night in Lanis's arms. I know he is awake. How can we sleep after everything?

Yeah, I feel exhausted, almost like my body is wearing out but my mind is running a mile a minute. 

''Can't sleep?'' he mutters quietly in the dead of the night. 

I turn to face him and his eyes are wide open ''I think my mind won't let me rest until Cassius is taken care of. I need to make sure it is not a mistake leaving him chained up and not dead.'' 

He nods ''Why didn't you kill him?''

That is a good question. All this while I have been talking about killing the man and the second I have the opportunity; I do the opposite.
