The drive to the trailer park is shorter than the last time I was here. Maybe all the worries are starting to kick in. I promised to meet up with Major. I don't even know what I am going to do with him but I have to find a way to help him. I park the car and start the five-minute walk to Em's trailer. Once in front of it, I clutch the book tightly, I want to just return it safe and sound. I don't want any more added problems.
The door to his trailer opens and it almost seems like he was expecting me. looking at Em, I realize that he manages the magic well. It doesn't seem like it is affecting him.
"I see you didn't need it.'' he manages.
I nod because I want to be away from this place as soon as possible "Yes sir, it looks like I didn't.''
