Fun Day

Chapter 24

The next day Adam jumped on top of me while I was reading, exclaiming, "Avery, let's go swimming!!"

I looked up at Adam from my very uncomfortable position underneath him, "Adam, it is November."

Adam grinned, "We have an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. Come on, go swimming with me."

I shook my head, "I don't have a swimsuit with me and get off me, your heavy."

Adam pouted, "I have a girl's swimsuit in my closet. Pwease, Avery? Pretty please? I'll get off you if you say yes."

I grunted, "Fine, I'll swim with you, just get off me already."

Adam smiled, getting off me, "Great, come on, let's go to my room, oh, and the swimsuit has never been worn before."

I sighed, as Adam dragging me to his room, he threw open the door and ran to the closet, he opened a drawer, pulling out a bikini, "Uhhh, Adam? I'm not wearing that."

Adam looked at it, "Why? You have a nice body, you could wear this."

I shook my head, "No, that thing barely covers anything."

Adam looked down, "It covers your girly bits, right? So it covers enough. Just try it on."

I sighed, "Fine, I'll try it on."

10 minutes later I was standing next to the pool, sighing, Adam had talked me into wearing the bikini, ugh. So much of my skin was exposed, I bit my lip, why did I let Adam talk me into this? Wait, who is going to swim with us? Please tell me no one is joining us.

Oh no, Mary came in the pool, crap, she was going to see me half-naked...Wait, she is a woman, it shouldn't matter, right? Okay, maybe no one else will come.

The door opened again, Alice and Alec walked in, ugh, noooo, there is a male, well, a straight one anyway.

Alec looked over at me, "Nice bikini, Avery!"

I blushed, "Uhh, thanks?"

Mary looked at me, "Avery, do you remember what I said at the party last night? Own it, and don't be shy, your a pretty young lady."

I blushed even more, "O-okay, I'll try, I'm going to go swim."

Alec said, "I'll race you if you want."

I looked at him, "Swimming race? Sure. One entire lap? Adam, can you count us down?"

Adam shrugged, "Sure, ready, get set, race!"

We dived into the water, cutting through it smoothly and quickly as we could, we both slapped the wall at the same time.

Alec grunted, "We tied, damn, you're a fast 14-year-old."

I cleared my throat, "Thanks, but I'm still 13, my birthday is on December 22."

Alec raised his eyebrows, "Really? Wow, I just tied with a 13-year-old girl."

I looked at him, "You added girl, why? What is so bad about losing to a girl?"

Alec shrugged, "Because a girl is weaker than a boy."

I glared, "Girls are equally as strong as boys, I just tied with you in a race, can boy push out something the size of a watermelon out of themselves? Can they bleed for 7 days straight without dying? I don't think so."

Alec put his hands up as if being held at gunpoint, which he technically was, an annoyed woman was angrily glaring at him, "Okay, okay, calm down, your right, your right, women are just as strong as men are."

I sighed, "Good, and don't forget it, ever."

Alec nodded, "I won't, women are scary when they are mad."

Alice laughed, "Yep, we are scary when we are mad, so don't get us mad. Ever."

Alec nodded, "Yes, ma' ma, of courses ma' ma."

Swiming with Alec, Adam, and Alice was fun, we all took showers and when we had lunch we devoured everything, I mean what do you expect? Swimming is very tiring, especially when you are swimming against someone who has longer limbs than you.

That night I picked up a book and read the entire thing before even feeling the slightest bit sleepy, huh, that's weird, I'm usually so tired after swimming that I just pass out before my head hits the pillow.

I laid down, closing my eyes I tried to sleep, after a couple of minutes, I drifted off.

And thus, ended my fun day.
