The sound of knocking was at his door. Qi Zheng raised his head in time to see that his friend, Xiang Xi pushed the door and peeked into his office.
Seeing that Qi Zheng was looking at a few documents, Xiang Xi leaned his body on the door with both hands in his white coat pocket. He seemed as if he had something to say, but was deliberately delaying until Qi Zheng had his attention.
Qi Zheng shot him an inquiring look and spoke, "What is it?"
"I ran into Doctor Meng just now. Do you know that she had returned to the hospital?"
Qi Zheng frowned when he heard that name. He lowered his gaze again and grunted. "I know."
The light in Xiang Xi's eyes lit up. He walked into the office and closed the door behind him. Without being invited, Xiang Xi took a seat across from his friend. The smile on his face widened. His face showed that he was in the mood to gossip.
