Yun Shu stared at the man in front of her and hesitated. "You... did you do something to make the manager change his mind?"
A faint smile curled on his lips. "I did not do anything much. I just talked to the owner for a little bit."
"You know the owner?" Her eyes widened in surprise.
"It wasn't hard to get his contact number," Qi Zheng spoke.
It was then that Yun Shu recalled that Qi Zheng was someone with a wide network. Picking up his phone to call someone was not a difficult task for him.
"Thank you." Yun Shu flashed him a smile. "If I knew that you would be able to help, I would have called and asked for your help earlier."
"You should. Yun Shu, if you run into another trouble, you should let me know about it."
Her heart skipped a beat.
Initially, she was speaking those words to joke around, but the look on Qi Zheng's face showed that he was serious.
