A Quick Stop at the Hospital
Qi Zheng spoke briefly before he finally hang up the phone. He then turned to Yun Shu and spoke, "I'm sorry, do you mind if we made a quick stop at the hospital?"
The serious look on his face told her that the call should be very important. Without giving it a long thought, Yun Shu nodded. "It's alright. Go ahead."
He shot her an apologetic look. "I promise it will be quick." Then, he drove into the main road again and headed to the hospital.
Yun Shu peeked at Qi Zheng and saw the frown on his face. She could not help wondering about the emergency and hoped that everything would be fine.
The atmosphere in the vehicle turned silent again.
Fortunately, the road was clear at night and they were able to reach the hospital quickly.
Qi Zheng parked his car at his usual parking space. Then, he turned to Yun Shu and spoke, "Come with me. It's better to wait upstairs."
