Prince Arlo closed his eyes as he let the emotions sink in. 

Initially, he had thought that maybe Duke Felix might have mistaken something. Even though he avoided the man as much as possible, it became impossible as Princess Macy had decided to marry him. He was about to be a part of the family. When Princess Eleanor was here, no one allowed Prince Arlo to go to her. But then maybe it was better. What if his thoughts were wrong from the start? 

'He played me.' Prince Arlo thought as he took a deep breath. He tried to control the emerging emotions that were about to bible forth, but he could not say or do anything else. He knew that his position as a Crown Prince did not allow him to take a stand just yet. 

Firstly his sister was now Duke Felix's wife. Duchess of Landon and his age was too small in his father's eyes to question the King's decision. But if the man who was his family could smile when he is hurt, then he could be much harsher to his friends.
