15. New Skill

Elaina was standing on the side, as she watched ethan fight this monsters by himself. The whole time nervousness and anxiety could be seen on her face. But he didn't even ask for her help. Saying it would be no fun.

' Is fighting monsters is really that fun.' she thought.

And looked at her hand which was holding a bag . Inside there are ingredients for making medicinal pill.which ethan told her to collect. she had no idea , what he would do with it. But she still followed his word and collected it.

Ethan who was fighting a giant monster, which looks like a gorilla. Having a time of his life. This monster is a C grade, and very difficult to kill. And because of this monster his experience for close combat fighting style is increasing with steady pace.

As a mage type supernatural being, there would be a day when he would need this. So being prepared in advance is a good choice.

Seeing that , this fighting is going for a long time. Ethan prepared to end this. After taking a little distance from the monster, Ethan fired 100s of arrows consecutively. As for the gorilla, he just died without knowing how this warrior suddenly became magic user.

After taking out the core from the monster, Ethan had enough cores for a single upgrade. So he didn't wait any longer and told system to absorb all the cores inside his inventory.

And that's exactly what system did, after seeing cores mat the requirements for upgrade , system started his upgrade without hasitation.

Ethan hurriedly sat down, and told Elaina to keep watch. As he sent his thoughts inside his body to check, what s going to happen next.

Last time , because of sudden surprise he couldn't see the process of upgrading his grade. But this time, he wanted to see with his own eyes.

Just after few minutes, a warm energy suddenly appeared inside his dantian out of nowhere. And started to spread across his whole body, muscles, vains even his heart wasn't spared. This type of energy just appeared inside his dantian once again and spread across his whole body. Not single but many times, Like a wave on the ocean surface.

After an hour , this process came to an end but ethan remained confused. Where the hell was that energy coming from. He wanted to ask this to system but he had to wait for that. Because currently system is still busy with his upgrade.

So he went toward Elaina who looks still vigilant and this adorable attitude makes him fall in love with her. But when he is reminded of her being a monster plant, then all the love goes down the drain.

" Hey Elaina, you can relex now. I am already finished with my things."

Elaina who was looking At the direction of the forest suddenly turn around hearing Ethan's voice.

" Did you get hurt, are you alright now " saying she started touching all over his body to make sure he is alright.

This made ethan quite confused about Elaina.

' Can a monster plant, really love some one to this extent or she is just playing with him. ' Ethan thought.

Seeing that , he couldn't get any answers by thinking so he left it aside for later .

Holding her hand into his , he said seriously " I am perfectly fine Elaina."

Then she breath a sigh of relief. And started taking about the ingredients she had collected.

" Look at this , is this usefull to you."

Ethan looked through the bag , and even though he can't recognise the plants or the fruits but they still looked special. So ethan decided to use them for his experiments.

" Thank you Elaina, it's very useful for me." Ethan replied.

" What are they use for?" Elaina asked again, intrested in whatever ethan was about to do with them.

But ethan just smiled and said it's a surprise. So Elaina had to drop this subject.

Suddenly ethan remembered that he didn't checked his status yet. So hurriedly opened it to have a look.

This came as a surprise to ethan. But all in all everything was perfect. And this is just a start. As for the fire ball he was quite happy but he would have to wait for chance to use it.

After finished seeing his status, ethan looked toward Elaina but his heart suddenly jumped out of his chest. Because Elaina's perfect face was only inches away from his face. He could see her rosy lips which was slightly open, her perfect tall nose , glittering star like gold and silver eyes, pink chicks And every strand of her golden hair which was brushing against her face like trying to tease her.

Even though Ethan's will is quite strong, but he doesn't know till how long he would last against her perfect figure. ' no, no, no, I can't lose to her, I have to keep myself under control.'

Promising himself, ethan got his confidence back. And looked back at her but from little distance away. He doesn't want to risk it.

But then suddenly system voice sounded Which made ethan extremely happy.

" Hey , ethan what's going on."

Without letting him finished saying, ethan intrupted him " hey, you came out.
