Mike seeing the notification appear in front of him, was a little bit excited, but only a little bit.
'It seems like the experience gained from killing through Robert is half the amount that I get from killing things myself, but it's still better than nothing and can actually prove to be so useful in leveling up' Mike briefly thought over Robert's situation.
Mike then took a look at all the beasts standing in front of him and couldn't help but have a faint smile appear on his face.
"Robert, hold all of them down tightly, and don't let anyone escape your grip, I'll start killing them one by one" Mike ordered, taking out one of his daggers and holding it in on his left hand.
" Don't worry about anything master and simply start killing them, no beast can make any movement here with my mana around chaining them up" Robert hurriedly reassured Mike that it was definitely safe and he doesn't have to worry.
Mike wasn't ordering Robert to hold them tightly even more cause he is worried that this middle-aged man might betray him.
He was only being cautious since he really became on high alert mode the moment he came into this world, but he is only cautious in a few cases, like this one for example.
However, when something is critical for him to obtain or something of that sort, for example, the egg that he risked staying around for and not fleeing, he for sure will risk things out to try and obtain it.
' For some reason, my left hand is much more comfortable to use since the day I took over this body, I guess it's simply this body's influence, but well, since this body is left-handed, I should at least start using my left hand way more than usual' Mike muttered to himself and started moving towards the first tow of beasts.
After a few minutes, a large pool of blood formed under Mike and the corpses of the beasts he just finished killing.
He took a few minutes to kill some chained and defenseless beasts mainly cause some were higher level than him and took some effort to finish them off, they were after all around 27 in number, and that's not a number a tier 0 warrior can finish in minutes.
In fact, if some other warrior was in Mike's position right now, he would never finish the task of killing the beasts even while chained.
And that's of course cause his strength isn't the bit enough to cut through the skin of the beasts that were on the verge of breaking through to tier 1.
So if some elders from the big sects witnessed this scene, they would try all ways to bring Mike in as their disciple and even shower him with resources, just so he can bring them glory and even more power/influence.
White brain matter and blood were all over his whole body.
He took a deep breath, the intense odor of blood instead making him feel satisfied! Especially when he looked silently at this small army of corpses that he had farmed.
Even this whole amount of blood that he never saw something like it before and the intense odor of blood didn't bother him at all, given the fact that he gained a lot from this.
With a thought, a blue transparent screen popped up in front of him, and Mike started looking through his stats.

Mike seeing his level, couldn't help but grow excited,' a whole 6 levels in a few minutes, that's simply amazing and makes you want to just go around and start a massacre'.
'Imagine if all of those beasts were all humans, my level would have actually been higher than 20 for sure given the fact that humans give double the amount of experience' Mike sighed in disappointment over the lack of cultivators in this area.
"Yo Robert, start thinking of a plan on how to capture cultivators in Serene town for me to kill, beasts are still gonna be okay of course, but it's better if we put our eyes on cultivators so I can grow stronger way faster" Mike assigned a task to Robert so he can be free from thinking over anything on their journey.
Robert hearing his master's words, his body shook a little as he got electrocuted, he couldn't help it but take a risk and give a piece of advice.
"Master, you can't do that, those are humans lives we are talking about and not just some beasts that you can just capture and kill like chickens"
Robert took a deep breath and continued " Don't follow and dwell on the demonic path, that path is full of hardships and obstacles added with ruthlessness and slaughter, we are humans and not animals master, so let's keep our current identity as righteous people ".
Seeing Robert's begging him to not kill humans, actually made Mike laugh so hard inwardly that he couldn't contain it so started laughing aloud.
" Hahahaha, hahaha, Robert, little Robert, you actually sounded so hero-like saying your words, I even remembered those fcking annoying heroes from those movies that I used to watch, and novels I used to read" Mike laughed, casually speaking in a carefree manner, but a hint of disgust could be detected in his tone.
" Let me tell you, something SLAVE. First of all, you are not in a position to make me change what I wanna do or influence me in any way, so you better watch that mouth of yours or don't blame me if I get rid of it for good"
" Second, good and evil never existed in this world or even in my past world, people who have money do whatever they want, people who are poor struggle to live through the day, and those people at the top simply watch like they can't help them in any way while people are dying cause of hunger in front of them, so don't go and talk to me about justice and goodness"
" You simply don't know how harsh it is to live at the bottom of the food chain, barely finding something to eat, so I won't cry around over some human lives that were lost if it means that I get something out of it. If I say we hunting humans, then it means we hunting humans, another word and you become my first prey "
Robert shuddered hearing his master's words but didn't dare to utter a single word. So he hastily kneeled on the ground and hardly kowtowed three times to show his response.
' Actually, why do I even care if I become a demonic cultivator, at least with my new master, I'm kind of safe since all I have to do is hunt beasts and some humans that are weaker than me, I'm not in a position to defend others if I'm barely protecting my little life "Robert thought, a hint of regret appearing on his eyes recalling the words he just said to his master.
" Don't worry Robert, I won't kill you or blame you for what you said, I know that your family has always been on the righteous path and hated demonic cultivators, but your family is gone, and your master is me, so start adapting to my mindset and don't comment on everything I say that goes against your beliefs "Mike assured Robert and gave him some tips.
Robert still didn't dare to utter any other word, and simply kept quiet while continuously nodding his head.
" Just in case, clean up all of this blood and teleport us away in the direction of Serene town, but only use some of your mana since we might need it in case of emergencies", Mike then stored all of the beast's body inside of the system and waited for Robert to finish his job.
Robert immediately made the mud mix with the blood and buried it deep inside using his mana to not leave any tracks behind.
Robert then slowly got close to Mike, carefully took his hand, and began channeling the teleportation spell. After a few seconds, the duo faded away and silence descended on the whole area again.
Appearing a good distance away from their past location, the duo scanned their surroundings real quick and then started heading towards Serene town again.
In an area that appeared void of anything located at the top of Mike's universe. A gate that was kilometers tall and wide, stood firm on its spot in what seemed like empty space. The gate looked plain black and nothing was decorated on top of it, so it gave a creepy and chilly feeling if one were staring at it.
Behind the huge Black gate, a man was sitting in the empty space, looking like he is putting all of his concentration on cultivating and didn't care about anything else, but the man suddenly opened his eyes a little puzzled by what he felt just now.
' What was that aura just now, it looked so familiar and yet so foreign at the same time, am I maybe hallucinating cause of exhaustion? Working as a gatekeeper with the lowest possible resources allocated to me is really unfortunate, but I have no talent or skills so I can't complain and keep doing it ' The man sighed in emotion, and then closed his eyes again and continued cultivating.
