Conversation Between Fathers-In-Law

The early morning rays of the sun gradually illuminated the entire Star City. The sun on the horizon rose and brought a warm atmosphere, along with an excited and thrilled feeling, with streams carrying happiness and joy all over the roads.

The atmosphere throughout Star City felt so joyful and lively, from early in the morning people were moving here and there, carrying things and gathering in places. Even scouts who were out they came quickly, entering the city and dropping off their things before heading somewhere else.

"Take all these things to the Tang residence. These distribute them in the streets and these others take them to where I told you a few moments ago..."

Long Cheng's voice was heard as he was directing many people, giving them tasks to accomplish quickly.

The people in charge nodded and moved quickly, taking all the things to the destined places.

"Did everyone who was out exploring come back?" Long Hong asked when Long Cheng finished commissioning.

Long Cheng nodded and said, "A few hours ago everyone who had left weeks ago arrived."

All the groups of people who wanted to leave and go explore the world had returned because of the big event this day.

"To think that this day would come." Long Hong looked up at the sky and smiled.

"Yes, you are right." Long Cheng nodded as he thought of the image of his beautiful and beloved daughter, "I never imagined this day would come so quickly... my girl getting married..." A loving and happy smile formed on his face.

His daughter will be getting married today!

Long Cheng felt happy and somewhat nostalgic, his daughter Long Yuyin is really flying and having her own life. He thought of his wife, Long Yuyin's mother, feeling that she should also be very happy in heaven knowing that her daughter would be getting married.

"By the way, how is Ling Tian, has he regained his strength yet?" Long Hong asked soon after.

Long Cheng shook his head slightly and said, "My daughter told me that he is much better, but there was still no sign of his strength recovering." Long Cheng and the others were not planning to do this in a big way, as they had planned almost the same thing as they did when Mu Shen and Tang Jingtian got married. But when the townspeople heard about it all, they supported and helped in making this event unforgettable.

Undoubtedly one could see the position that Ling Tian had in all the inhabitants of the city. That dream and illusion they had about eradicating all the demonic beasts turned into hope and was finally fulfilled, bringing a sense of peace and tranquility to the world. And all thanks to him.

"Brother Cheng, did you by any chance take care of the bottle and wine matters?" A different voice came as a shadow quickly appeared before Long Cheng.

Zhang Chao soon appeared and looked at Long Cheng.

"Yes, I left several people in charge about that." Long Cheng nodded at Zhang Chao's question.

"Phew, I never thought this event would be so exhausting." Zhang Chao let out a sigh and smiled wryly.

His daughter, Zhang Xinya, would also be getting married today!

As a father, Zhang Chao had to make many arrangements for the ceremony, so he was somewhat tired already almost early in the morning. But this was not much pressure, since he was not the only one in charge of doing this, as the responsibilities and tasks of doing all this were shared.

"Oh, so here you are. We've been looking for you." At once, Tang Wei's voice was heard as he arrived with Yun Dong.

"Did something happen?" Zhang Chao asked.

"Nothing. It's just that we finished our part and we have to go back to see what's needed." Yun Dong replied.

"There are still many things left to do." Tang Wei sighed in exhaustion, but thinking of his daughter's happiness, his spirit was renewed and the energies returned. He wanted to make this day, a wonderful and unforgettable day for his daughter.

They all felt the same: their daughters were getting married and they wanted to make this day so beautiful and happy.

Moreover, they would all become in-laws of the same person. Therefore, they would also be one family eventually.

They also got along very well with Mu Shen and Mu Shuiruo's parents, so their loss along with the whole Mu family many years ago had really been a shock to them.

"Is Ruoyan with your wife?" Zhang Chao asked Tang Wei some time later.

"Yes, she is with Zhi'er. Both of them are at our residence, leading as well while they were arranging the girls' dresses." Tang Wei replied about the whereabouts of both women.

Tang Zhi and Zhang Ruoyan seemed to never exhaust themselves; big smiles and spirits overflowed from them and they were endlessly moving back and forth, doing thousands of things without ever getting tired. Even they were somewhat surprised and a little terrified to see the endless energies of these two women, being more energetic than them.

"Will this Mansion be able to hold everyone?" Soon, Yun Dong asked with a somewhat frightened expression as he saw the world of people accumulating in the City Mansion.

"Let's hope so..." Long Cheng nodded with a somewhat helpless smile. He too couldn't help but worry if there would be enough room for everyone.

Since everyone wanted to be there and be a part of this big event, there was no choice but to have the wedding at the Star City Mansion. They even tore down some walls, pillars and buildings around it in order to have more space.

Gifts began to pile up early on one side of the Mansion. Long Cheng left several people in charge so that they would be accommodating all these gifts that kept coming in.

"On the one hand, I'm going to miss this place." Yun Dong said slowly as his gaze swept over every part of the city from where they stood.

The others nodded at what Yun Dong said. Although they would be leaving for a new and amazing world, their roots were in this place, so it was only natural that homesickness would remain in them. Their relatives and acquaintances were here, as well as their families' roots and more.

But in several more days, they would leave and have a wider and different life in every aspect.

All of them also wondered what those worlds Ling Tian had always told them about would be like. They would have to work and strive to cultivate hard to increase their strength so that they would not let anyone be able to threaten them; that is their goal they have once they reach that world.

But as long as they stay together as one big family, anything will be easier to cope with and of course move on.

Long Chen said a few words to Long Hong and also went with Yun Dong and Zhang Chao to help the two boys.
