Chapter 226 The bandits

Samira was having fun while driving. She listened to the track album of the car.
" These songs are pretty good. I really like them. Who wrote these songs and why didn't I hear them before?"
Arthur who was playing 2k with Zoe , said lightly.
" They are from my home. The music and lyrics are good, right?"
Samira nodded. She turned up the volume and sang along with it. Vision was instructing Zoe. He said calmly.
" Now shoot. His defense should be weak in 3 pointers."
Arthur smiled evilly. He blocked her attack and countered it with a fast break.
Zoe groaned.
" You are a bully. You didn't lose once to me."
Arthur laughed loudly.
" Why would I lose to the kid?"
Zoe hunphed and continued to play.
Screech*
The car turned sharply and stopped in the midway. Arthur raised his head and said calmly.
" What happened?"
Samira grabbed her weapons. She looked at him and said coldly.
" Mines. I never thought I would see them here."
Arthur raised his eyebrows and he got up from his couch. He grabbed the stick on the wall while Vision also stood up with Zoe.

They opened the door and went out. Samira scratched her head with annoyance.
" Damn it. I have to dig these out."
Vision and Arthur looked at each other. They nodded and went into the field. Arthur said lightly.
" Extract mines from the ground."
The stick went down to the ground. Vision also used his powers to locate the mines. He frowned.
" Mines. They are advanced warfare technology. I never imagined I would see them here."
Arthur folded his arms as he fell into deep thoughts. Suddenly, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around saw Zoe. Zoe pointed at the mountain.
" Someone is watching us. I feel their energies."
Arthur sighed and spread his haki. He found out 20 figures. He pointed at the forest.
" They are coming towards us. I believe this is their job."
Samira clicked her tongue. She aimed at the forest and waited for them.
Swoosh, bang*
Samira directly fired at them when they appeared. She didn't show any mercy at all.
Thud*
One man fell to the ground. The others were frozen in their places. Arthur raised his arms and he conjured a binding spell. Golden ropes binded them easily.
Samira showed her surprise. She looked at him and smiled.
" You are a really mysterious guy. Who are you really?"
Arthur shrugged his shoulders. He acted like it was nothing.
" Who knows?"
Samira didn't ask anymore. She quickly dashed towards and killed them. No, it was a massacre.
She almost wiped out them instantly. Thankfully, she left few people to interrogate.
Vision shook his head when he saw this. Arthur looked at him and said lightly.
" Finished?"
Vision threw the mines on the ground. He said with a serious look.
" Their technology is different from us. I have never seen mines like these. It's explosion radius is even bigger than our modern ones."
Arthur nodded. He gestured him to handle it. Vision asked with indifference.
" Is it necessary to kill them?"
Arthur nodded. His eyes are gleaming with bright blue color.
" Yes, their hands are filled with blood and their souls are already corrupted. They are irreparable. If we set them free, they will raid others again."
Vision nodded. He turned around and said to Zoe.
" Let's go. This isn't our place to be."
Zoe happily tagged along with him.
Bang*
Samira threw the leftover bandits to Arthur. She walked calmly while dragging last two ones.
Arthur looked at them coldly.
" Why did you kill innocents? Did you rape others? Did you sell them to the merchants?"
The bandits shivered with fear. Arthur closed his eyes. He clenched his fists as he felt their emotions. He felt their dread.
Bang*
Samira threw last two. She asked with indifference.
" Tell me. Where did you get these?"
The leader coughed with blood. His eyes were bloodshot.
" We were former soldiers. We just wanted a good life. Isn't that enough?"
Samira looked at him coldly.
Crack*
She broke his leg. The leader's face filled with pain. Even so, he didn't scream with pain. Samira said with even more chilly gaze.
" You have guts."
