Chapter 22 Hammer Expo

Meanwhile

Pepper was going to Hammer expo, after all she considered them potential rival. Hammer announced there will be surprise for the audience. Pepper have a bad premonition about this. She tried to call Tony and Arthur however both didn't pick up their phones. So Pepper decided to go there alone.

Few moments later

Pepper arrived at the expo. She saw lot of people coming and among of there are quite few influential people. Pepper knew this would be really troublesome. At this moment someone gently touched her shoulders. Pepper looked back and saw familiar faces.

" Hill and Natalie, I didn't expect you to be here."

Hill smiled

" Come on, Even we don't sell arms we are still technology giant in the world. Arthur was interested in this expo. He said it will be very troublesome for our partners. So he sent us."

Pepper understands Hill's words

" Okay. So shall we go to inside?"

Hill

" Yes. Let's go in."

Natasha whispered in Hill's ears

" We found out Ivan Vanko's whereabouts. He is in the Hammer factory. What Arthur said was right."

Hill frowned

" Justin Hammer really didn't care about U.S government. It seems we have to warn this to him."

Before going expo Arthur gave them two missions. One was to protect Pepper and the other one was to stop Ivan Vanko's plan. Arthur knew this expo will be chaos. So he decided to tell them about Ivan's plan and whereabouts. Of course S.H.I.E.L.D investigated it. It was true that Ivan Vanko is in hands of Justin Hammer. Fury immediately ordered Hill and Natasha to stop this.

Pepper and others went to backstage of expo. There they met Justin Hammer. Justin was pleased to see that Pepper and Arthur's secretary coming. After all he is quite envious about Tony managed to get cooperate with Future consortium. Justin was sure Arthur will terminate his contract with Tony after seeing his new trump cards. So he decided to meet them.

" Long time no see Miss Potts and Miss Hill and this is?"

" Natalie Romanova, new secretary of Future consortium."

Justin smiled

" Miss Romanova."

Natasha shakes his hand. In fact Natasha didn't like this man. He is a typical arrogant and playboy person. Unlike Arthur who is bright and charming or Tony who is genius, Justin is incapable person. As a qualified agent she can see Justin's greed for them in his eyes.

Justin chuckled

" Ladies watch it from here. I am gonna blow this up."

Justin walked with confidence

Hill frowned

" Nate you go to factory."

Natasha nodded she quickly went to driver of Tony

" Pepper could you send her to Hammer's factory?"

Pepper nodded. Pepper knew something is wrong here

On the stage

" Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Hammer expo! Now I am introducing the new future of our armies. Please applaud."

Audience cheered. Justin smiled after seeing this. He pointed

" The navy!"

Robots like Ironman came out. The audience was boiling

" The marine corps!"

More robots came out. The audience was cheering even more

" The army!"

" Lastly the airforce!"

Audience was applauding like a thunder. Justin smiled even more.

" My gift isn't over yet. Let's welcome our Colonel James Rhodes."

Man with Ironman like armor came out. There is a gatling gun on his shoulder. He looks very dominating. The audience liked this new Ironman. From the distance, U.S military leaders were satisfied with this new Ironman. They hoped to get Ironman armor unfortunately the court didn't give them. However who knew Colonel Rhodes will give them this new surprise. With this new Iron soldiers and Ironman, U.S military force has increased their powers to terrifying level.

At this moment suddenly Ironman flew over to Rhodes and silver armored man ran to them. The audience was shocked to see Ironman and Future Knight ( people named Arthur). They cheered even more than Hammer's introduction.

Rhodes asked suspiciously

" Tony, Arthur what are you guys doing here?"

Tony said in serious tone

" We have a trouble. Just wave at them."

Arthur and others waved to audience

" Arthur found out there is Ivan's work in here."

Rhodes frowned

" If what you are saying is true, then we are in a big trouble."
