Mu Xiao immediately covered herself with the duvet as Lord Dumas burst through the door, upon seeing Mu Xiao, Lord Dumas blinked and then closed the door, saying from the other side" I'm sorry Lady Mu, I didn't think that your relationship with my son would develop so fast."

Mu Xiao blushed heavily behind the door before calming herself down, she left the bed and put on the dress that she wore the day before, leaving the room she said" Lord Dumas, your son was very good to me yesterday and he swept me away before I could restore my reason. Thanks to your son, I have broken through to peak Qi gathering stage in one go, may I ask who usually makes Alex breakfast?"

The last part of the sentence was whispered out as she realised that her true thoughts had leaked out from her mind, she blushed slightly which caused Lord Dumas to laugh. He softly spoke"You do not need to speak to me like a business partner Lady Mu, you are the young Mistress of this house, while we are here you can speak to me like you would a father. Your cultivation has increased rapidly, be sure to consolidate it before you try to break through to become a mortal cultivator, rushing too far can cause issues. Wu Zhan usually makes Alex's breakfast, the young lady you met briefly yesterday, will be in the kitchen downstairs. Ask one of the maids or servants where it is if you get lost, I'm going to wait here for Alex."

Mu Xiao awkwardly walked down the stairs and into the lobby of the mansion, seeing her struggling, Grandpa Wu walked up to her and offered her his arm to hold onto as she walked, he smiled at her and said" You broke through to Qi Gathering stage, peak level at that, congratulations Lady Mu."

Lady Mu looked up at him and said"Thank you, I just wish Alex wasn't as rough the second or third time, then maybe walking wouldn't hurt as much"

Time paused as what she just said hung in the air, Grandpa Wu looked at her in shock as a blush spread up her cheeks, she looked at the ground and said:" Please forgot I said that I don't know whats going on with me at the moment."

Grandpa Wu smiled and said" Worry not, I will not judge you, as long as you are both happy then nothing else matters. Where is it you want to go, Young mistress?"

Lady Mu looked at the ground again and said" To the kitchen please"

Grandpa Wu smiled and lead her into the kitchen...

<Second floor, Dumas Mansion, Alex's Room>

Lord Dumas opened the door to see the snakes coiling around his son, surprised he used his spiritual sense to check Alex's Dantain, shockingly he could find nothing at all, no sign of Qi of any kind, little did he know how wrong he was. Like with Mu Xiao, two snakes were lying in Alex's Dantain, the first one was of little size, the second was of a much larger size, nearly four times that of the first snake. Alex had yet to detonate the coiling snakes as he was using a breathing method that would allow for easier passage of Qi through his body, knowing that he had to prepare for two types of Qi, he spent three hours after his exercise with Mu Xiao preparing for the Qi.

Finally, he felt his body enter a state of pure relaxation, his muscles free, his mind calm, he used his spiritual sense to activate the smaller snake first, instantly followed by the larger snake, his body shook as the explosion of the Blood Qi and Fire Qi began to tear him apart from the inside out, his body began creaking and cracking as bones were snapped, his blood coloured the originally white walls of his room.

His father ran towards him however as he got close the space between the two of them ignited in flames, the blood that was on the walls turned into spears and flung themselves at Lord Dumas, who for the first time in years was genuinely feared for his life. He ran towards the door and barred it from his side, he had to make sure that no one else entered that room, if anyone knew that his son was a blood Qi cultivator, they would be hunted across the Midius continent.

Within the room, Alex's unconscious howls echoed, his mind was seized by the system during his bodies transformation, his arms erupted with blood pouring out of holes, his eyes began to leak blood as well turning his face into a ghastly red colour. While the outside changes were occurring to Alex, the inside of his body wasn't fairing much better, his organs were being slowly mutated and changed by the rampant blood Qi in his body, his heart was attacked from both sides by the Blood and Fire Qi, forcing it to change to a dark orange/red colour.

Two hours had passed, it was approaching 9 am when Alex came too, he was surrounded by burn marks and lying in a pool of his blood, out of fear he thought 'Status'.

As Alex went to move, his body rejected the notion, his muscles ablaze with pain, he fell forwards onto his knees, pushing himself onto his knees, he weakly walked towards a mirror and stood there in shock, gazing at what he had become, his bright blue eyes had turned into a crimson red colour. His black hair had turned white with a single red stripe down the middle, his physique had changed from a fairly standard to a thinner build, his muscles hidden. Looking at the mirror, Alex noticed that it was lower down than it usually was as he lifted it, he noticed a large snake tattoo on his chest, it was leaping with its mouth open towards his heart.

Feeling strength begin to flow into his body from the centre of his Dantain, Alex slightly tilted the mirror, and dropped it in surprise, he had grown more than a foot in height. He sensed his Father behind the door to his room, he could feel the panic flowing out of his father, Alex smiled in response and grabbed a towel from the bathroom and shouted" Dad, I'm ok, you can come in now."

Lord Dumas entered the room, followed by Mu Xiao and Grandpa Wu, the three of looked at Alex in shock, he smiled and said" I have broken through to mortal cultivator in my natural QI and Peak gathering stage in the fire Qi, the explosive breakthrough was a mix of it being two Qis and the cultivation method that refines my body as well the Qi. Dad, can you get me some larger clothes while I'm at school? Also, Grandpa Wu can you go and start the car, we are going to be late."

The two men looked at Alex in disbelief, for two reasons, one was the calm reaction to what had happened to him and the second was that he claimed he was a mortal cultivator however he didn't even give off the aura of someone at the Qi Gathering stage like Lady Mu. As if realising their concerns, Alex smiled and released his aura, instantly the two men burst out into laughter before patting him on the back and leaving to do as he asked. leaving just him and Mu Xiao in the room.

Alex looked at her and then noticed the plate in her hands, it was a poorly done attempt at what he usually had for breakfast, pancakes, eggs and bacon. Seeing him look at the food, Mu Xiao attempted to hide it, she whispered" It's bad I know, I cooked it this morning with Wu Zhan, she said I should take it to you anyway as it wasn't a bad first attempt."

Alex walked up to her and took the plate from her hands and began eating it quickly, he then kissed her on the cheek and whispered:" It was perfect thank you, ask my dad about working for our company, for now, I have to go to school now, see you when I get back."

Alex then got dressed in 'slightly' to small clothes and walked out of the house and towards the car, nodding to Wu Zhan as he left...
