Chapter 26 Margaret

Margaret's Point of View -

I don't have enough patience to deal with this little brat. Using an old person's incontinence diaper, I'll dress her myself. Whenever she wants to act like a baby, I'll dress her up like one. I've got a binky in one hand and a T-shirt for an adult baby in the other. Glancing over at her, I watch that naked brat jumps from the bed.

I sneer, "NOT SO FAST!" and dress Ashina in the clothes I have. I added lace around the face of the baby's headwear.

Ashina shrieks "STOP!"

Then I growl at her, "Zip it!" Her mouth gets sealed with a zipper. Now there's no hassle. Until she gets dressed by herself and follows me around cleaning up the mess she made, she's, my balloon.

It's my control. Are you ready to go out into the forest with me so we can release those two idiots from the spell you put on them? "I'm going to drag you out like my own balloon if I don't get you to do that." Don't mess with me!

I see Ashina's face turn red when she realizes she's stuck, and I grin. Ashina nods her head yes and looks perplexed. As soon as I unzip her mouth, she opens hers too.

"Why do you call me a child, you're not much older than I am," Ashina snaps back.

Taking a deep breath, I sigh, "Zip it" I wave my hand as her mouth is closed once again.

"I'm over a hundred years old, so you're a brat. Now get dressed!"

Ashina wrinkles her nose and nods in compliance, so I release her and watch her fall to the ground. "Ouch, did you just drop me? Really? Have you heard about how unfriendly you are?"

While she rubs her sore bum, I watch her stand up awkwardly. Deserves her right to land hard on her bum, especially for arguing instead of complying. After giving her a stern look, I watch her collect the clothes she wants to wear that are still dancing around.

As soon as Ashina's dressed, I motion for her to stand next to me, and I can tell she wants to argue but doesn't. With a snap of my fingers, we're in the forest where the two men are hanging like pinatas, their clothes stuck to them like second skin from the rain.

Seeing Ashina, I know this is the first time she's used magic unknowingly. It would have been easier for me to fix this without her, but she needs to do it. Her magic needs to be mastered and she needs to fix her mistakes. There's a good chance she's not just part witch, but also an elemental. Like me, her beta told me her mom and aunt were were/witches.

It's not true that all witches are elementals, and not all elementals have witches' powers. It's a rare thing to have a witch and an elemental power; the goddess has truly blessed this young woman. There's a lot of power trapped inside her, waiting to burst, and if it's not controlled it could be bad.

Feeling bad for the men hanging there, I snap my fingers and an umbrella appears and covers the two men from the rain.

Both betas and several men look at us expectantly to release these men from their ridiculous predicament.

My face turns expectantly towards Ashina, and the men do too.

Ashina gasped in realization, "I don't know what to do!" "When I yelled stop, they literally stopped and were frozen in the air. I remember being so angry and upset that this storm appeared above them. What do I do now?" I don't know how to undo it."

"Ashina, do you need some help?"

Ashina looks angry, "Isn't that what you are here for?"

It's not going to happen unless you ask nicely. Do you think Andor's or Cadma's kingdoms will appreciate their leaders being stuck here?"

Seeing Ashina think, she sheepishly looks at me and says, "Would you mind undoing this spell I accidentally cast?".

"That's much better, I'll walk you through this. It's pretty simple. "Close your eyes and clear your mind." Ashina squints her eyes shut and grimaces.

"Ashina do not look like you are trying to poop. Let your face, muscles, and everything inside of you relax. Feel the wind, hear the leaves rustle across the earth, watch the squirrels climb the trees. Take some time to find your center and clear your mind."

Ashina says in a whiny voice, "How do I stop thinking?" Trying to stop thinking is hard."

"You can do this, tune everything out except the nature around you." I softly replied to not break her concentration. Take a deep breath, feel the earth, the air, find your center."

In the course of mere minutes, the rain stops, and the men begin to slowly return to the earth. In an attack of anger, the men shake out their limbs and then they flee from the scene. In the meantime, one flew away in dragon form, while the other switched back to his wolf form and left.

Ashina squinted with one eye open, unsure if she had succeeded or not. Excitedly, she yells, "I've done it!" Excitedly, she shouts, "I've done it!" Did you see that witch lady, I've done it!"

I softly laugh and say, "yes, of course you did, and I have a name and it's Margaret. As soon as we get back home, you and I will begin our training sessions right away. Your training will continue until you can't keep your eyes open without toothpicks. "Are you sure you understand? " I bellow out my command.

Ashina looks bewildered. "What were you in a past life? A marine drill sergeant?"

You will be facing your worst nightmare if you do not make your way to the training grounds as soon as possible!"

In accordance with my instructions, Ashina doubled back out of the forest. In the wake of hearing the laughter behind me, I grimace at both betas. Then I see the two of them clench their fists and run away as well. Even they know that I do not take anything off of anyone, not even them.
