Vonruil Calls Two Angels

“What the hell? That is the last thing we need.” Morris retorts on seeing them outside.

“What’s the matter, you sound like the ghosts are roaming the streets.” Peter says in a sarcastic tone.

“Trust me seeing ghosts right now would have been way better.” Morris says in a frank tone.

Hearing Morris, Vonruil gets up, and comes over to the window, and on seeing them, he says, “Xiander, time to gear up.”

“Brother, you can't, they're us, I mean literally flesh, and blood.” Looking out of the window, “Though, I think they have lost their minds, damn they look so ugly.”

“Morris, they are zombies, now they have no connection with the human world, unless we know the cause and if the cause is reversible.” Taking a sigh, “Even so, we will need a place to captivate them, till we can find something out. So, for now let’s go and see what we can do, and are they really human zombies.”

“ARE THEY? Brother look at them, they are, or atleast were humans.” Morris says retorting.

“Morris, don’t we look like humans?” Vonruil asks in a frank tone.

“Yes,” Morris says in a flat tone.

“But we are angels. So, they are zombies, and nothing else. Xiander, let’s go.”

As they go out, Xane says, “What’s going on?”

“Zombies are roaming the streets, well at least this group.” Morris says with disbelief in his voice. “But, I’m wondering, who made them?”

“Must be the allies, who else. Damn them, if this goes on, so many innocent humans will be dead.” Sam says with sadness in his voice.

“Sam, don’t worry, they will take care of this.” Xane says, trying to give him some motivation.

“Xane, I know. Ever since we met brother, our life has been more positive. It’s just at these times, it looks like it’s the end of us.”

“OH WOW! They are amazing!” Morris chirps happily as he’s looking out of the window. Coming over, Peter looks out, and sees Xiander has wielded a fire sword, and is slaying them one by one, as Vonruil is using his fire fists.

As Xiander slays with his fire sword, the air crackles with the intensity of the fire sparkles leaving a trail of smoldering embers in its wake. On the other side, Vonruil’s fire fists were like never seen before. Peter and Morris remembered during the war, they saw Xanbis shooting ice arrows, but today they wave of searing heat that was being punched towards the zombies, made Peter wonder, how did they manage to defeat Vonruil.

In a matter of minutes, the zombies began to scatter, as they were of no match with the angels. Eventually they had to run off. The ground begins to tremble with the force exerted by the blows of the angels.

As the zombies left, the devastation was clearly visible. Then Vonruil combines earth, water, and wind stones, and recreates everything back to normal. They wait for a few minutes to make sure no more are coming, and then they go back inside.

The boys come running over, and Morris says, “Wow, that was amazing, but what were they?”

“Don’t worry, they weren’t humans, at least living. You all know Keona is the goddess of spirits, she can control the spirits of the dead. The zombies were exactly that. As for the fighting abilities, that’s all thanks to Rival’s henchman Xidan. He can give momentarily powers to any dead spirit.”

“Brother, one thing is for sure, I’ve seen their hooligans fighting, those allied hooligans need to train badly.” Morris says, stating a point, “Brother, it’s impossible to beat you. They tricked you, right, they must have broken the rules of war.”

“Morris, rules are followed only when both sides are diligent in fighting. Rival, is the king of demons, can he be diligent?” Vonruil questions Morris.

“Where did he come from? I mean which black hole, or cyclone dropped him.” Peter asks in an annoying tone.

“Guys, Rival is actually Satan’s minion.”

“WHAT?” The boys say in a shocked, and stunned tone.

“Yes, Rival was a minion for Satan. He used to take care of the spirits that were to be taken to hell. During this time, he encountered plenty of evil souls, and began to absorb them. Then he broke a war against Satan, and tried to take over the underworld. But failed.” Vonruil says with a satisfying smile.

“Anyhow, unknown to Satan, Rival began to make his own demon army. The next time Rival attacked SAtan, he lost cause Satan had no need for any warrior. He guards the underworld, for some troubling spirits, he has his henchmen. After defeating Satan, rival took over Galdos Mountain, and made it his realm.”

“Ah, isn’t Satan the guard of the underworld? Doesn’t that mean he has ways to get the troubling soul back.” Peter asks in a curious tone.

“That’s what’s been bothering me. Satan could have stopped him in the first place. At that time he only took over Galdos Mountain, but was nowhere near to being the demon king.” Vonruil says, “I don’t know what deal they cracked, Satan let him go. Or else, there’s no way a henchman can leave the underworld, without sacrificing his soul.”

Suddenly remembering, Peter says, “Brother, I just remembered, when I was at the camp, I heard Mavros’s guards saying Brother, O mean you have something valuable.”

“Valuable, with me?” Vonruil says with a little surprised tone, “Apart from my blood, I don’t think I have anything as such.”

“Your blood? Vonruil, our blood is normal.” Xiander says confused.

“Ah, what’s a blood group?” Xane asks, confused.

“Xane, if it’s the same as us, then we humans have red blood. We humans have four major blood groups, and everyone has one of them.” Sam says explaining, “LIke I have O negative, while Morris, and Peter, both are B Positive.”

“We are also the same, but we only have two blood groups, ZN +, and ZN -. The positive and negative define the healing ability of the angel. ZN + angels can heal better, therefore are chosen as the soldiers, while ZN - can take time to heal, so never leave Artmitis.”

“OK, so brother has ZN + blood group, but if others also have it, then why is Rival after your blood?” Peter asks confused.

“Yes, we have two blood groups, but my blood group is RH Null, or golden blood. It’s one in a million angels.” Vonruil explains, “Of course, that’s not the reason. The reason is for some odd reason, my blood has the ability to bring the dead back to life.”

“Odd reason?” Xane says confused, “How come I didn’t know about this?”

“You didn’t know, till now I was thinking Vonruil was ZN+.” Xiander says in a lost tone.

“Odd reason, cause apart from being a rare group, it’s nothing special. Rather it's a problem, cause if I lose too much blood, I can’t use any other blood group. But, my blood not only has the ability to give life, but if I lose too much, it regenerates on its own.”

“If so, then it means Rival must be having a beast he wants to bring back to life.” Peter says, “I can’t think of any other reason.”

“If this is so, then we need to find out who or what it is.” Vonruil says in a stern tone, “Something that’s of Rival’s interest, that needs to be brought back to life, is not going to be something nice.”

“Vonruil, got any plans.” Xiander asks, ready to take action.

“Tell Zildor, and Zenith to check the northern hemisphere, and tell them about the beast thing.” Vonruil says, “They have to know what they are looking for.”

“The northern hemisphere?” Xiander asks confused, “But Galdos Mountain is on the eastern side.”

“If it was there, we would have known about it long ago. The northern hemisphere is a place we seldom go, and because of the barrier, we can’t go at will. But Zenith will find a way.”

“OK, then I’ll go and tell them right away,” Recalling Vonruil is missing, “Ah, what do I tell them?”

“If you have time, you can fill in the details, if not enough that they can be content, and it’s time everyone knows. It’s time to come back.” Vonruil says as he clenches his fist in anger.

Xiander gets up with confidence, and says, “Yes, and runs off to go up to the terrace.”

As he comes up, he quickly opens the Nomid portal, and connects to Zildor, and Zenith to come over.

Soon Zildor, and Zenith arrive. Both have purple eyes, and black hair, only Zenith’s hairs are longer and flying in the wind, making him look like a god descended on earth.

As they come over, Zildor says, “It’s great to see you, for a while I thought you also are leaving us.”

“Leaving? Hey, don’t tell me you think Vonruil left us.” Xiander pretends to say in a sad tone.

“Xiadner, Vonruil can go missing, and not be able to come back, then all of us can practically stop living.” Zildor says in a frank tone, “It’s obvious he does not want to come back.”

“He’s gonna make a comeback now, and you can come and meet him,” Xiander says, “But, he doesn’t need to explain to each one, he made a deal with Satan, the reason his emotions are not intact. And, (he emphasizes on the word ‘and’) the gods also took his powers away. But, now thanks to Sam he’s recovering, and his powers are also back.”

“Sam? We know all of the angels, who’s Sam?” Zenith asks in a surprised tone.

“He’s an angel.” Xiander was going to tell, but Xane comes up.

“OH, great, Zildor, you're here. Can an angel have a human partner?” Xane asks in an optimistic tone.

“Humans and angels, well yes, but why are you asking, and who is Sam?” Zildor says confused and surprised.

“Great, Xiander, now Sam can be your partner. Oh, Sam is one of the humans, aren’t you going to meet Vonruil?” Xane says confused.

“WHAT? He’s here, where we can’t see him.” Zenith says excitedly.

“Xane, you go first and tell them they are coming. You both follow me.” the angels do as told.

As they come down, seeing Vonruil, Zildor runs over, and takes Vonruil’s hands, and says, “You’re alive. I knew there must be a reason. The only way you won’t come is if you’re dead, and then we would have known.”

“Vonruil, you have disappointed us. Do you really not believe we could fight next to you? Why did you go alone?” Zenith says in a sad tone.

“Guys, I left his men to you all, as for Rival, he can only be dealt with by me, as for what happened, if they had not betrayed me, none of this would have happened.”

“And, who are they?” Zenith asks, confused seeing the boys.

“OH, he is Peter, Morris, and Sam, Xiander’s partner.” Sam was drinking water when Xane came to introduce them, so he ended up choking on the water, when Xane called him Xiander’s partner.

“Xane, you can’t randomly go about saying that, at least not till both confirm it,” Peter says, “And, more if you guys can be with us humans as a couple.”

Vonruil comes forward, and says, “Guys, Sam is a doctor, and it’s thanks to him, me and Xiander are able to recover so soon. Morris, and Peter, they are taking care of us. They may not be angels, but they are no less.”

“Vonruil, if you take them as part of Artmitis, then we do as well. Why did you not come back home?” Zenith asks, confused.

“Guys, actually, I intended to come only after I regained my powers, and knew the cause of the betrayal.” Vonruil says, “It’s my trust in them that brought us to this point.”

“Vonruil, you’re the duke, without you, do you think Artmitis has any future?” Zildor says concerned.

“Don’t worry. Even if I die, I won’t let any harm fall on Artmitis.” Vonruil says, “But, now I owe earth an explanation as well. It’s cause of me they all are suffering.”

Recalling the events, Zildor says, “Yes, when we knew about the Ice sheet formation, we did our best to stop it, we even asked Xania, but she rejected saying you have disappeared so she has no obligation towards us..”

Shocked, Vonruil says, “I disappeared, I’m not dead, and no obligation. Very well.”

Vonruil clicks his fingers, and a scroll appears. Then Vonruil swirls his left hand, and the scroll disappears.

“What was that scroll for?” Zenith asks, confused, and concerned.

“Oh, nothing much, just officially broke off the engagement with Xania.” Vonruil says with a calm tone.

“Then, what about Sky?” Zenith asks concerned.

“Guys, Xania or no Xania, Sky was always in the same place. Just after her, I don’t know what he feels. Our connection has broken ever since the engagement. But, for me he’s the one.”

“Vonruil, but a declaration was sent from the palace stating Sky will be the head trainer. He’s training the new angels over at the Organ realm right now.”
