Vonruil's Brother's Come Looking For Him

“Yes, if we listen to you then you should also listen to us.” Peter says in an enthusiastic tone “So, from now on you will do as we say, and whatever you plan to do, don’t go off fighting on your own.”

“Boys, it’s not a fight against some thug, or international smuggler or something. It’s Rival, a demon king and the allies are all deities. As humans you won’t be able to even give them a scratch let alone beat them.”

Looking sad Morris says “Well, we know we are humans, but we want to help…”

Seeing their low esteem Vonruil says “I didn’t say because you are humans you can’t do anything. And remember angels and humans are very much alike. We both have souls, a heart and we also have red blood only the groups are different. But seriously boys, it’s not that you can’t beat them, but not as who you are right now. But after you guys train under me, you definitely will be able to beat all of them. And in a way it’s my personal matter.”

“Brother, though it’s your personal matter and we have no say in it but we also lost our families,” Peter says in a hesitant tone “And will you forgive your allies, I mean they were your allies, so you must have considered them…”

“I considered them as my friends, but they didn’t,” Vonruil says “And the fact they betrayed me is one thing, but the things that they did afterwards, is totally out of my justification book. They destroyed the lives of people and most of them lost their lives, that I can’t forgive at any cost. So, don’t ever think I will forgive them, ever. Now, if you guys want to help then you do as I say and neither one of you will disobey. (In a serious tone) Guys, remember as mortals, you won't get chances, so from now on, be careful of what you do and against whom.”

Getting a bit serious, Vonruil says “Guys, jokes apart, Rival and the allies are no joke. They are all bestowed with special powers and though before I would never say this, but now that they have betrayed me, I can’t say what they will or can do. And, I know their powers are not a joke, so please, when it concerns them, do what I say.”

“YES.” The boys say in unison.

As Vonruil is about to put his shirt back on, Sam says “Brother, it’s best if you don’t put it on. I have to re-do them in a while anyway.”

“What?” Vonruil says shocked “Re-do them, what and why? Hey, are you planning to make me your patient?”

“Patient? Brother, I didn’t even get the chance to give my final exams. How can I have a patient when I don’t have a degree? (Peter chokes on his food so Morris hands him a glass of water). Oh, don’t worry, I know what I’m doing. Actually I should have said I couldn’t get my degree cause the university closed before that, but I have completed my education….though I couldn’t sit in the final exams as they never took place, (Seeing Morris is worried) Morris, can you please stop worrying, and you guys, (Sam says scolding Morris and Peter) you’ve been with me for so many years. I treat you whenever you are sick or hurt, are you not living? Shouldn’t you back me up here?”

“Sam, don’t get the wrong way. Of course we are happy that you were there, but the recommendation, especially with Brother is…”

Cutting Peter’s sentence midway Sam retorts saying “Ok, get sick now and see what this doctor does.”

As Sam sits back in his chair with a grumpy look, Vonruil smiles and says “Ok, stop teasing him so much. But, honestly Sam, why do you have to re-do them?”

“Oh, I just wiped right now so the medicine was applied on the wounds, but most are open so I need to re-do them. If you wear the shirt, your body won’t dry soon and will remain damp. So, please don’t wear it. As soon as we are done with dinner, I’ll redo them.”

“Not that I understand what you said, but ok.” Saying so, Vonruil begins to eat.

Seeing Vonruil, Morris says “Ah, brother, if we train then will we..can we also have a body like that!”

Smiling Vonruil says “I don’t think I look any different from the fit guys, and if they can get this body by going to the gym, then why not you?”

“Look at us?” Morris says getting up “We practically went daily, this is as far as we went.”

Seeing the boys, Vonruil couldn’t stop laughing. Though the boys were fit, Vonruil could understand what he meant by looking at them.

“Boys, I don’t want to raise your expectations, but so far every angel who’s been through warrior training looks almost like me, so I guess you guys will too. Come on eat up, the food is getting cold.”

As the boys sit down and eat, Peter gets up and says “So, looks like everyone has eaten. Wait, I’ll be back.”

As Peter comes back with a cake, the boys look gleaming at him and Sam says “Hey, is it brother’s birthday.”

“Angels don’t have a birth date so I don’t have a birthday to celebrate and even if I did,” Vonruil says making his point “You would definitely not know it.”

“Well, in that case I’ll add another candle to the cake.” Peter says as he places the cake on the table and removes another candle from his pocket and puts it on the cake and says “Actually I made the cake to celebrate us becoming a family. From today on the third June will be our ‘Family Day’, and now that brother just told he doesn’t have a birthdate, from today on third June will also be celebrated as brother’s birthday.”

Both Sam and Morris say in unison “HAPPY BIRTHDAY brother” and both hug him. Then Peter also hugs him and says “Happy birthday brother.”

“Honestly you boys are like the three musketeers to me. But honestly thanks for coming into my life.”

As the boys hug Vonruil, Sam says “We never thought we would have a place to call home or someone to call our family. Thanks brother.”

Outside

“So, it wasn’t a lie after all.” A shadow from the woods is watching over Vonruil’s home and says “You really forgot about us. Vonruil, is it so easy to make a new family and forget about the ones you grew up with. I spent two years searching for you. And when I did, you’re happy living with your new family. Fine, your happiness is what matters, If living without us makes you happy, then so be it. Take care.”

As the shadow begins to walk away he hears some shouting and runs back to see some people are gathered in front of Vonruil’s house demanding Jason to come out. The shadow decides to come closer and see what’s going on. Then he sees the group shouting. Then one of them goes over and knocks the door saying “Jason, bring those Vonruil followers. They should die.”

The shadow gets amazed on hearing them calling Vonruil Jason and wanting to kill his followers.

Back Inside

Suddenly the boys hear someone at the door screaming “Jason, bring those Vonruil followers. They should die.”

Getting up Vonruil puts on his shirt and says “Guys stay inside.”

Opening the door, Jason says “What’s the matter? Why are you screaming at my door in the middle of the night?”

The shadow is surprised to see Vonruil coming out as Jason so he decides to stay and look what’s happening.

Outside with Jason and the People

The man who knocked on the door says “Jason, we know you are a kindhearted person but you can’t give a roof to Vonruil’s followers. Vonruil betrayed us. These boys should go to wherever that guy has been banished off to.”

“First of all the only reason the boys used Vonruil’s status was to not get beaten.” Vonruil says making his point “The boys have never met him and you beat them already, take that as their punishment for saying they were his followers. The boys have learnt their lesson. They will never associate themselves with his name. And, from now on they are my brothers. So, please from now on can you all please forget this matter?”

Another man steps up and says “Jason, since you are saying we’ll accept. But, tell those boys to never mention that betrayer’s name again.”

Smiling Vonruil says “Don’t worry, I’ll personally tell them to never use his name and thanks for letting the boys stay.”

As the crowd disperses and Jason goes back inside, the shadow comes out and says “What? How can they call the savior a betrayer? And what’s with the banishing thing? And, why are his eyes so empty, like he has no emotion in them. Vonruil, what’s going on?”

Just then the bracelet the shadow is wearing begins to glow. Seeing the bracelet, the shadow says “Vonruil, I’m going for now but looks like I’ll have to come back.”

Saying so the shadow disappears.

Soon the shadow appears on the mountain top. As he comes over to the cliff’s edge, he removes his hoodie. He also has purple eyes and black flowing bangs that fall over his right eye.

Just then another beautiful man with purple eyes, black long hairs comes front and smiles at the first shadow. On seeing them together, anyone can tell they are twins.

As the first shadow comes over, the second shadow comes over, hugs and says ““It’s been a while, Xiander I missed you. Vonruil has already left us and now I thought you also had left me.”

Smiling, Xiander says “Xane, I will never leave you. And I’m sorry it took me so long to find Vonruil…”

Cutting Xiander’s sentence midway Xane says shocked “You found Vonruil, where’s he? How is he? Why’s he not with you?”

Xiander places his hands on Xane’s shoulders and says “Hey calm down. I found him today and I haven’t met him yet.”

Xane says in a surprised “What? How come you didn’t meet him?”

Xiander says, taking a sigh “I saw him happy with his new family of three brothers. They were celebrating something. At least I think they were as one of the boys brought a cake with a candle on it. That’s how humans celebrate something. So, just when I thought Vonruil was happy with his new family and had forgotten about us, I decided to leave, but then some people came and began to scream in front of his house. They were demanding Jason to hand over the boys cause they were Vonruil’s followers and they should be banished like him. The man said the boys should die cause they are Vonruil’s followers. Then Vonruil came out and the humans called him Jason. Then Jason, our Vonruil, said the reason the boys used Vonruil’s name was cause of his status. The boys don’t know and have never met Vonruil. He also said the boys are already punished by beating them. Then he requested the people to let the boys stay with him and to never mention this point again. The people also agreed to never bring the Vonruil matter up and allowed Jason, meaning Vonruil to keep the boys. Xane, when I saw him, his eyes were blank like he had no emotion in them. Remember he has the brightest eyes in the whole of Artmitis.”

Xane looks taken aback and says “What? Banished, his followers should die? And Vonruil is living as a human Jason, but why?”

“Exactly,” Xiander says in a determined tone “I had intentions to leave but after hearing all of this, we must find out what’s going on. We have to bring him back. He’s Vonruil, the duke of Artimitis. He has to come back.”

“You’re right xiander.” Xane says with tears in his eyes “Vonruil has always kept us in front of him. He always covered us. He never let us go to the front. When we’d be sick, he would take care of us himself. Even though I’m an angel I'm afraid of the thunder. He always used to hold me in his arms when I used to get scared during the thunderstorms. We can’t leave him.”

“I know Xane, I also was willing to leave because as long as he’s happy, I can leave him. For Artmitis’s reasons, I can’t take his happiness away from him. But, with the banish thing and his empty eyes, and why the humans hate Vonruil considering he risked his life saving them, till I don’t find this out, I’m not leaving.”

Xiander says “Count me in. Whatever you want to do, we’ll do it together.”

Xane puts his hand up front and as Xane places his hand on Xiander’s hand, Xiander says “Let’s bring our brother Vonruil back!”
