The Banshees Attacked Artmitis

As Sky reaches the border, he puts his hands on his ears as the sirens are deafening. Seeing this, Ren casts a barrier over them. From the angels who were trying to keep the banshees from entering Artmitis, tell Ren that the banshees have come to take the Exclair Stone.

The Exclair stone is a divine stone that holds the universe's rarest blood and has the ability to bring the dead back to life. The day Vonruil was created, the moon's ray fell on the stone, making Vonruil have a rare blood type.

Leo humps and says, "The exclair stone? In your dreams."

As Zenab tries to get out of the barrier, he notices the barrier is reinforced. He bangs his hand on the barrier.

"You guys can stay there. As for them, it's a breeze for me." Leo says, sighing.

As Zenab says this, he summons his thunder stone and unleashes a thunderstorm over the banshees. The thunderous sound is unbearable, and it makes them stop screaming. Seeing they have calmed down, Leo reduces the thunder and says, "Now can we speak as respectful beings?"

As the banshees nod, Leo removes the barrier. Then Sky steps forward and says, "What will you take to leave? Don't even think about the stone."

"Then we have no choice but to retaliate with you. We will take the stone at all costs."

As the banshee says this, all of them begin to circle around the angel at a fast speed. Then one of them points her finger towards Sky.

"Time for a battle." As Sky says this, he absorbs his force and ice stones and unleashes an icy attack on the banshees.

Soon the banshees become weak as they cannot bear the cold, and then two of them combine their powers and retaliate with fire. But again, Sky forces more power into his attacks, making the ice attack cooler.

Finally, the banshees round up and catch each other's hands, and then they begin to change their form. Each one turns into a beautiful angel, and they begin to sing a song.

Hearing them, Leo says, "Before beginning, you should have remembered we angels are males and have no affection for the females of the universe."

"But thanks; you gave us the clue we needed to defeat you." Ren says, smiling.

As Ren says this, Sky and Zenab were about to absorb their stones, but Ren stops Sky and makes him go back. Then Ren and Zenab absorb the stones and combine their force stones, and together they send fire attacks combined with ice. This time, the banshees could not retaliate and had to leave.

As they leave, the angels get together, and Ren says, "OK, that's that. Now let's go back."

"Wait, Sky is injured. If Vonruil sees, he'll kill us."

Before anyone could say anything, they heard a voice say, "As the duke, I can't do anything to you, but I won't let go either. Why did you bring him along?"

Hearing the voice, the angels get terrified, as they know it's Vonruil. Trying to grasp the matter, Leo says, "Vonruil, you know he has more stones than us, and only he can defeat the banshees. Honestly, we had no choice."

"For now, I'm taking him back; as for you three, I'll call you later." Saying so, Vonruil leaves with Sky.

Back home, Peter is waiting anxiously as he hears a knock. He runs to open the door and says, "Vonruil, thank God you came back. I was worried, brother. What are you doing with Sky?"

Seeing Peter is worried, Vonruil says, "OK, what do you mean?"

"OH, ah…" Not wanting Peter to get into any trouble, Sky says, "Vonruil, I told him not to tell you. So, I presume he's waiting for me to come back before you find out."

"Yes, and sorry, I should not have let him go when I know he's injured." Peter continues, "But I don't know what I can and what I can't, as I don't want to offend anyone."

"Peter, as long as I'm in the universe, no one dares trouble you, Morris, or Sam." Vonruil says it in a stern tone.

As Vonruil brings Sky inside and makes him sit on the sofa, Peter goes running and brings the first aid box.

Hearing a knock, Peter goes to get the door. Seeing it's an angel, he says, "Ah, brother."

The angel says, "Hi, I'm Zen. I'm part of the healing medic team, ah, Sky?"

"Oh, come on in. This way."

Peter escorts Zen to the sitting room.

Seeing Zen, Vonruil gets up and says, "Zen, please take a look."

As Zen comes over, he says, "Vonruil, I don't want to beat about it, as I can't offend you. Sky's health is bad as it is, and if he keeps fighting, then it's not going to be good."

"If I knew he was going, if I couldn't stop, at least I would go with him." Vonruil's voice is evidently angry. "That's if he would have let me know."

"Vonruil, maybe it's because he's been alone for too long that he's taking his own decisions."

"Like, I'm here in this room with you." Sky says in a sarcastic tone, "Can we not pretend I'm not here?"

"Sky, I can only cure you for a while. You know we have no cure for the heart scar," Zen says in a worried tone. "If anything happens to you, what will we all do? Have you thought about Vonruil?"

"Sky, I really meant what I said last time: resign from the warrior force. You can't take any more battering." Zen tries to convince Sky.

"Zen, you know I can't leave."

"Ah, I don't understand why?" Peter says, confused, "Back home, if a soldier is injured and unfit for combat, he is officially told to leave and attend a desk job or something. Then why can't you leave?"

Peter questions Sky. "Peter, it's not an issue for other angels, but there are some of us who don't have a choice of joining or leaving. Me, Vonruil, Zildor, and Xildan, we don't have that privilege."

"Oh, why, OK, Vonruil, I can understand because he's the duke, but you and them, why?" Peter asks in a curious tone.

"Peter, Sky is Vonruil's partner; protecting him is Sky's first priority, and for that, he has to be in commanding position. Zildor is the leader, and he can leave only if he dies, and Xildan is the King's partner; same as Sky, he does not need to be in commanding position." Zen explains this to Peter.

"And these banshees, are you all ok?"

From Peter's words, it looked like he knew who he was talking about, so Zen asked Peter if he knew anything about banshees.

Peter explains how and why he knows about banshees. He tells them that back home, when the ice sheet was created, it destroyed their home, so the banshees began to attack the humans. As the humans could not fight them or bear their screams, they died. He also says that this is the reason why his and Sam's mom died. He also says that if the banshees had not attacked, maybe they could have made it back to the land.

"Damn, if we knew this before, we would have dealt with those banshees instead of letting them go."

Before Sky could say anything else, Peter said, "No, that's wrong. Because of a few, you can't harm them all."

"Peter, banshees are not what you think. They are not beings; rather, they are the undead."

"Undead! You mean zombies, but they are so beautiful; how can they be zombies?" Peter asks, confused.

"Not zombies." Vonruil says, explaining, "Zombies are dead; once the evil force is removed, it is a dead body. But banshees are undead, evil souls. So, they are basically alive. The only thing they know is to kill humans for their pleasure."

"Yes, as a matter of fact, none of them should be alive, but where they live, no one knows." Zen says in a sarcastic tone, "It's only when a group attacks that one gets to know of their existence."

"Oh, and why was Sky called when everyone knows he's injured?" Peter asks in a curious tone.

"That's because he's the leader of the north and south warriors. The banshees attacked the north."

"Oh, so there's no choice if you have to fight." Peter says it in a bland tone. "But the stones you summon get absorbed by the heart. And then the energy flows into your body." Peter says in a hypertone, "If that's the case, then Sky should not summon his stones."

"But without our stones, we cannot fight." Sky says, explaining, "And this is the reason we were created—to protect the universe." Looking at Vonruil, "And those who are important to us."

"Still, there must be a way to deal with them without fighting." Peter says it in a lost tone.

"There is, if they can be expelled into the phoenix hole, but the power required is beyond any of us. Vonruil can."

Intervening Peter says, "No way, Vonruil hasn't healed yet."

"Exactly. Ever since Rival came into existence, Vonruil's health has been on and off." Zen says, explaining, "Because of the random fights, he keeps on getting injured. Now it's Sky."

"Does anyone know why they attacked in the first place?" Peter asks, "Back home, it is said they attack the ships in the ocean and kill the people to drink their blood."

"Yes, that's them. They are the undead, so they have no values or emotions. They can even kill each other if needed." Sky says it in a frank tone.

Just then they hear a knock, so Peter goes to check. On opening, he sees an angel has come. So he invites the angel to come inside, but the angel says he only came to tell them that Sam and Xiander have reached the lake.

As the angel leaves, Peter comes back and tells him what the angel told him. Then, out of curiosity, he asks, "Can I know what's this lake that Sam and Xiander have gone to?"

"The lake is a sacred lake for us. When two angels are officially announced, they are to link their hearts at the lake; once the bond is made, they will be bound for life." Zen says he is explaining.

Seeing Peter is still confused, Vonruil says, "Peter, it's almost like your human marriage. Rest; you can ask Sam about the rituals when he comes back. It will be more fun."

"Really, I can't wait then. Hey, where's Morris?" Peter asks, suddenly recalling that he can't see him.

Just then Morris comes over and says, "Oh, I was on the terrace. Watching the universe's sky is so beautiful. And I heard about the lake thing, so when are they coming back?"

"They will be back soon. For now, we need to make their room ready. Xiander will stay here as well."

"What? Why? Vonruil, won't Sam stay with Xiander like the rest of us do?" Zen asks, confused.

"Yes, but for the beginning, I think it would be better if they stayed here. At least till Sam adjusts to Artmitis." Vonruil says, stating his point.

"Ok, Vonruil, I'll go now. Sky rest, and at least for the night, don't go out."

Getting up, Vonruil says, "Don't worry, I won't let him go."

As Zen leaves, Vonruil says, "Sky, if you go out without telling me, I won't."

Stopping Vonruil, Sky says, "Ok, don't say anything harsh. I won't go anywhere without letting you know."

Peter gets up and goes to the kitchen. In a little while, he comes back and says, "Dinner is ready!"

As Sky, Vonruil, and Morris take their seats, Peter serves them, and then he also takes his place and begins to eat. As they are eating, Peter says, "Sky, do you have anything special in the morning for breakfast?"

"Breakfast? And that is?" Sky asks, confused.

"He's asking what you want to eat at sunrise. Peter, here on Artmitis, we have sunrise, midday, and sunset meals. Tell Peter, and he'll make it accordingly."

A little hesitant, Sky says, "Peter, thanks, but I make my own meals."

"Obviously, you've been alone all this time, but now you have us, so you have to tell, and I'm not asking, I'm ordering you."

Seeing Peter say it in such a dominant tone, Sky does not retaliate and says he does not eat anything in particular. Whatever Peter makes, he'll eat.

"Ok, then, in a few days, I'll get to know what you like. And once Sam comes back, it will be healthy as well."

“Healthy? Isn’t food always healthy?” Sky says confused.
