Chapter 3

"Well this has got to be the worst birthday prank I've ever heard of" mutters z. More annoyed than angry but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't mad. But he has a date with a really pretty woman tonight and nothing will dampen his spirits. He finishes up what little work he had to do at his neighbors and heads to the mall to get a new outfit to mark the occasion.

A couple hours later he hops back on his bike with a new outfit and a new sense of confidence. Now he's just got to wait a couple hours until Zera heads to the burger shack. Now he's good at about everything he's ever tried except for being patient so he decides he's just gonna risk it all for the bisquit and show up at her place and see if she wants to ride instead.

He pulls up at her place about 630 and shoots her a text asking if she wanted to ride with him instead. she replies " oh I didn't know you had a car lol" he replies back " oh well I don't, just come down whenever your ready lol" she reads the cryptic message and puts a little pep in her step..

About thirth minutes later she comes walkin down the porch of her house in a sunflower yellow bikini with matching shades. Z just looks a her completely flabbergasted. She frowns and sasys " is something wrong?" "no no its not that at all you just look amazing" he replies. She blushes a little bit and thanks him. then she asks about the bike and he lets her know it was a bday present from his mom. She makes a couople jokes about how he better not wreck her and he simply replies " i promise as long as i am near you then no harm will come to you" she blushes again and then jumps on the back of the bike and wraps her arms around his waste..

Thankfuly she cant see his face because he is amost glowing from the various emotions that ran through him the moment she touched him.

"Off we o" he says before heading towards the burger joint he has a reservation for. They arrive a few minutes early and he goes to et his table but realizes something is amiss when the manager comes out to talk to him.. " im so sorry sir there seems to have been a mixup and your table was given to someone else. you will have to wait for an hour or so" Now the mormally calm zane comes unglued.. " Are you fucking kidding me? i literally went straight to the bathroom after i go invited here for the sole purpose of making sure my reservation was made.. NOw your telling me this? Do you see that beautiful woman back there in the yellow.?? Do you know how long it took for me to muster up enough courae to even think about telling her how ive fet about her since middle school!! And now you o and ruiin that. And on top of that you fucked up my birthday as well. !! " Hes panting because it has been a long time since he has released his emotions liek this and hes suprised himself by letting it take over control so easily.

Then he realizes that everything he just said was loud enough for the whole shack to hear. He had just inaddvertantly confessed to zera and he starts to swaet beads upon realizing that he just put himslef in a very pecuiar position. He slowly turns arond and looks at her and when he notices a tear in her eye and a beautiful smile on her face he fainted. He Couldnt handle all the emotions ravaging his heart and mind and his subconcious did him a solid and gave him a breather. He wakes up a few hours later and realizes he is on zeras couch and she is snuggled up next to him.
