Chapter - 39 [ Small Problems ]

Walking through the gates of the Royal Academy, Adam and the girls were amused to see so many people attending the ceremony. Even the parents of the students seem to be there.

However he and Amy were looking forward to meeting Amelia. When they were 14, she already enrolled in the academy. Now she should be 22, and is graduating today after the entrance ceremony.

Just as they were about to ask a nearby person where to go, he and Amy were tackled by a living human projectile with black hair and golden eyes. The girls were surprised when they saw someone tackling both of them. However seeing that Adam didn't resist it, they decided to wait.

"You shouldn't do that to your younger siblings, older sister..."

Hearing his words, the girl, Amelia showed a sad expression before saying, "You've changed Addy..! You are not calling me 'dear sister' anymore..!"

Seeing her fake tears, he was going to say 'you are a good actress' but held back as he replied, "You are wrong Sister. This place is public. We have to maintain your as well as mine dignity as nobles, you know..?"

Understanding the meaning behind his words she nodded with a sad face. He sighed before hugging her and saying, "dear elder sister".

As if everything else was just a dream she began hugging him tightly. Seeing this scene, the girls who understood it were their elder sister, smiled warmly. The other students who were on the way, also looked at them. For some reason Adam felt like he was going to make a lot of enemies.

Reluctantly parting from him, Amelia turned to Amy before hugging her as well. Amy seems to be in a bad mood as she sees Amelia hugging him like trying to possess him.

'I am the only sister allowed to love him..!' Her mind was screaming at this. However not wanting Adam to think that she is limiting his life, she held back. Of course she was just jealous thinking of possibilities. She too loved her older sister very much.

Seeing two more girls staring at her, Amelia let Amy go, before asking Adam, "Who are they Addy..? Could it be..?" Though she asked him, at the last second, her mind loaded everything.

He nodded before saying, "That's right dear elder sister. They are my future wives. There is one more... No two more. But I will introduce them at a later date. For now, they are Xesteria and Elbereth from Malevier House. The others are not here and Of course you know about Amy already."

Though she heard about Amy, it was her first time hearing about him having multiple fiancees. She couldn't go to their birthday party. So she didn't hear the announcement.

However she wasn't worried. If her brother chose someone, they must be good people. That was all she needed.

"I see. Then let me introduce myself. I am the daughter of Duke Arthur, Amelia Aves Aldians. It's a pleasure to meet you all, girls."

"Nice to meet you Elder sister, my name is Xesteria Von Malevier."

Though she has been to the Malevier house, it was before the birth of Xesteria. So it was her first time seeing her cousin.

"Nice to meet you Elder sister. My name is Elbereth, and I am also from Malevier house."

Hearing Ellie, Amelia was confused. She doesn't think she has two cousins. So when she turned towards Adam, he whispered in her ears, "She's an elven princess, and since the elves are treated badly, we decided to hide it until everything is ready."

Hearing this, her eyes widened. Though she was skeptical about an elf, she wasn't going to hurt anyone important to Adam.

"Okay, Xesteria, Elbereth. I will leave Adam in your care."

They happily nodded before bowing slightly. Amelia turned to Adam again and said, "Let's go to the auditorium. The ceremony is about to begin.

He nodded before flowing her.

Inside the auditorium, there were a lot of students seated on different blocks. There were sections for each division of each year.

For example, in the third year block, there were four divisions and each had two sections for males and females. Each division was divided as A, B, C, D. It was decided by one's ability and talent.

There were four blocks representing four years. After letting Adam and the girls take their seats, Amelia left to take her own seat in the fourth year block.

On the stage, there were some people sitting and talking amongst themselves. His guess was that they were teachers. He also found the weird woman from the entrance exam day here as well. Though he felt like their eyes met, he ignored her.

After some time, they did a speech before welcoming the newcomers. After the welcome speech, it was time to give certificates to the graduates. It took so much time. But as the ceremony was at its end, suddenly there was a loud boom....

BOOM....!

Not knowing what was happening, the students panicked a lot. Understanding what is happening, Adam glanced at the girls. Knowing what he meant, they nodded. As the teachers were trying to calm the students, two people left the auditorium without anyone even knowing. One of them was Adam. He knows who the other person was. However he wondered why that person also left the hall.

Ignoring them for a while, his figure disappeared from the academy before appearing above the clouds. There glancing downwards, he saw two people doing something in the sky. There was a golden sheen on their hands. His senses suddenly picked something up, as he gazed into the underground part of the Royal Palace.

In the ceremony, he didn't see, Raiser, Rubelia or Alen. So Adam was thinking he was doing something. Peeking through the walls, he saw a middle aged man kneeling on the ground inside the throne room. He was bleeding from his mouth. In front of him was a limp body of Raiser and Rubelia. However there were another two presences nearby. Looking closely, he saw Alen and a man covered by a shady black robe.

Reaching near the palace, he used his illusionist, and transformed into a character named Saitama from an anime called One Punch Man as a disguise. Staying invisible, he began to hear what they were talking about.

"How is this possible...!?" The middle aged man, or rather the king screamed in shock. He was one of the strongest people in this world. And now he was on his knees.

"It's thanks to this cutie~~" Said Alen smiling wickedly. In his hands were a doll shaped object. However seeing the object, Adam understood that it was a magic tool. Its effects seem to be weakening others by a huge margin. Adam could sense that the king was now suppressed to be a Grand Mage level. Since the person near Alen was with him who is also a Grand Mage level, the king couldn't attack Alen. Then after looking at the suffering king Alen said,

"Since you are already under my palms, I shall tell you some truths." He then explained everything from the start till he hypnotised them. Hearing the truth, the king felt his rage increasing by a marginal amount. However seeing the guy named Cen, who's also a Grand Mage level, he couldn't do anything to kill this bastard son of his. He also didn't want to endanger his other children as well.

"You don't have to worry father. I will take care of your son and daughter with proper care."

Knowing what he meant, the king roared at Alen. Alen only smiled, as he was dreaming of how he will humiliate his father. However his smile faded when now Grand Mage level king shot a fire elemental spell at him. It hit him hard enough to hear the sound of bone cracking.

From a glance, Adam could see that Alen's jaw had been dislocated. However he still only watched with an amused face. Glancing at the black robed guy Adam thought

'well, that was supposed to happen. But again what kind of idiot was he in his past life to not think about someone betraying him...?'

As he was thinking about it, he heard a loud scream and a broken voice asking, "Wfy..dinchu..prothect..mee...?!" A bleeding Alen asked the black robed guy. However contrary to how Alen thought, he replied, "Why should I protect you Alen..?"

Alen's eyes widened. "You were the most idiotic person I've seen in my life. Besides you are such a shit. I already got what I wanted. So I don't really care if you die or not."

Though the king was surprised by the words of Cen, he ignored him for now. He walked closer to Alen. Seeing his father glaring at him with killing intent, he fell on his butt before crying like a child. However the king wasn't merciful as he suddenly kicked Alen on his face.

Cen watched as the king tortured his son. As he was about to turn around and leave, he heard a voice.

"How peculiar... To think a demon is working as the servant of a human behind the scenes..."

Cen stopped on his tracks before turning to meet a person with strange characters. He was wearing strange clothes with a full-body yellow suit that has a white zip on the chest area. It also has a huge white cape that attaches to the suit from big black buttons on each side of the shoulders. It also comes with two dark red rubber gloves with matching boots. Equipped with a black belt with a good metal buckle on the front.

It was his first time seeing someone like that. So he was confused. Then remembering he hid without him knowing, he was about to ask who he was and what he wanted. But he was forced to laugh as he saw a clean glistening part on the head of his enemy.

His head was bald. However his laughing stopped when saw the enemy blurring before Standing in front of him. He wanted to run, however when he felt something touch him, he saw a hand touching his chest. Nothing happened. He quickly jumped back before trying to attack the baldy with a sword.

Even though he was a demon, that doesn't necessarily mean that demons can't learn sword fighting.

Seeing the demon pointing his sword at him, Adam who was now transformed into a Saitama, blurred once again and aimed at his chest before saying,

"Normal Punch..!"

Cen who heard this smiled before activating a defensive barrier. However when he felt a touch around his stomach he looked over to see there wasn't any flesh. He saw a big hole on his chest to stomach. Not knowing what happened, he fell to the ground with an incredulous face.

Sensing the king returning, Adam healed Raiser and Rubelia before disappearing from there. Though they saw the mysterious man with a bald head defeating the servant named Cen, they couldn't but think who the hell was that.

Returning to the room with a bleeding body of Alen, the king who saw the dead body of the guy named Cen, felt tension all over his body. Since he was now on the same level as that man, he was in danger as well. However not seeing anyone, he sighed before throwing Alen and reaching out to Raiser and Rubelia.

"I got a message saying the king is weakened. So let's start the plan."

Just as the king was weakened, the two people hiding inside the sky, activated a high level magic. Making the ground shake because of the side effects, they continue to pour their magic to the object they were holding together. However their faces changed when they sensed something happening in the atmosphere.

"Don't worry. It's just a barrier."

"Who...!?"

They were shocked when they heard a voice. How was this possible. They were one of the strongest of their kind. How come someone just hides from their senses...?

"Oh. You are acting hostile suddenly. Well, not that i care. For now I will tell you something."

Hearing the voice again, they turned towards where they heard the voice and saw a man with a bald head and a strange outfit. On the first look they understood he was a human. But what shocked them was, this human was flying. And this human was only 20-25 at the least. What kind of thing did humans do to raise such a monster..?

"Today is very important to me. So I would appreciate it if you could leave without making a fuss."

Hearing the calm voice of the man, the female suddenly screamed in anger.

"You bastard..! How dare you order us around..!?"

She was a strong person. She had pride and dignity as well. She wanted to see humans begging for mercy from her. However when she saw someone looking at her without even an ounce of fear, she felt very vexed.

Seeing his companion trying to kill the youth, the man could only shake his head in defeat and pity for the man. However his eyes widened in shock when he saw what happened.

The woman who reached his neck tried to choke him, however against her expectations, she saw a hand flying in the air and accompanying it, a red liquid sprayed like an open dam.

Understanding everything that happened, she screamed in pain before jumping back to her companion.

"What..!? How did he do it..?! He was clearly doing nothing..! However when you reached him, what I saw was your hands flying away...!"

He said he tried to heal his companion with a green liquid. However disappointing him, the wound didn't close.

"It's futile. After I cut your hands, you can't regenerate your wounds."

Although his words weren't the whole truth, he still told them the truth. It is impossible to heal unless they cut apart the sides where his energy touched.

Understanding the young man's words are the truth, the man sighed before unsheathing his sword before cutting the head of his companion. Her eyes widened in horror. However before she could ask why, her head fell without life.

Seeing this Adam tilted his head to the side. "Hmm... I thought she was your lover from your interactions. But to think you killed her, demons are really vile creatures."

"Oh..? You could see that much..? I guess you are a dangerous target we are not aware of. However now that I've seen you, you won't live to see you tomorrow...!" Saying this, he snapped his fingers before touching his own right hand with his left. It suddenly turned glistening black and shaped like a sword. He then pointed it at Adam and said, "Dark Judgement..!" His black sword-like energy suddenly travelled fast towards Adam. He however stood there without doing anything.

BOOM...!

A loud explosion followed it.The man waited to see the corpse of his enemy. But after the dust was cleared there was an invisible wall protecting Adam in a spherical field. Turning to the victim of his enemy's attack, Adam saw the ground split into two with about 1 meter depth. Understanding, if he fights any longer, it would affect the others, he said to the man,

"The play time is over."

He then slashed his sword at the man. Seeing this the man dodged it. As he was about to fight back, his eyes widened when he saw his vision turning upside down.

Catching the falling head by its hair, Adam said, "I did slash at you and you dodged it. However, the sword intent I aimed at you won't be missed even if you dodged. Consider this as your last moment lecture. And about your kind, I will take care of them, if they were to do something like this again."

Saying this Adam burned the man's and the woman's corpses before returning to the academy.

Seeing the girls he smiled before telling them what happened. Though they giggled when he told them about how he transformed and beat the robed person, they nodded after hearing about demons.

As they were still talking, the headmaster of the Academy, calmed the students down saying there was an accident. She was an old aged woman with brown hair and green eyes. She said, "Now, new students go to the test sites. After that, the graduation ceremony will begin."

Hearing this, Adam and the girls left the site for the practical test....
