Chapter - 20 [ Incomprehensible ]

One day, when meditating Adam felt a strange energy covering his body. He didn't know what it was. However as he was thinking about what to do, Celeste appeared suddenly and said,

"What's going on Adam..!?"

Startled by her shouting Adam asked, "Why are you shouting Celeste...?"

Understanding she was raising her voice too much, she suddenly covered her mouth with her hands. Then she said,

"That's not it..! Why do i feel spiritual energy on you...?!" She was still shouting, however this time it was with a low-pitched voice.

"I am supposed to use spirit magic after contracting with you, so i think it's natural...?"

However she denied it. "You are mistaken Adam. Indeed, one can use spirit magic after bonding with a spirit. However that is only temporarily. However, what I see in you is not spirit magic but spiritual energy. They are both two different things!"

He asked, "I see.. So what does it actually mean...?"

"It means you are already a existence close to being a spirit..!"

Hearing this Adam was shocked. He never expected to hear something like this. Then he heard Maya's words.

« Look at your Status Adam »

He actually never opened his status after meeting Celeste. So he wondered what happened and opened the Status Interface.

'However that doesn't prove it. I mean, Xe's is not a spirit, right..?'

« It may be because of your blessings after rebirth. We can only prove it after seeing another example. For now just tell her you don't know. But this is just your guess and say what we discussed. »

He agreed. He looked at Celeste and said, "It seems I've become a spirit."

"No. You are not yet a spirit fully." She said while shaking her head. Adam however after talking with Maya, decided to do something. He concentrated the spiritual energy and tried to control it.

As a result, his body shone, before his hair started growing exponentially and his ears had grown longer and pointy and rounded. His face became more handsome, his skin became super smooth.

Seeing this, Celeste was in absolute shock. Someone just transformed into a spirit in front of her, the spirit queen just like that...? So easily..?! She wanted to scream. However her face turned bright red when she saw how he changed. She could hear her heart beating very fast and loudly after seeing his appearance. Although she thought she was too shameful to do something like kissing a boy like the first time they met, she kind of liked him. Now however, she is forced to think about her future interaction with the boy.

He opened his eyes. It was still, his Amethyst colored eyes. However, there was a rainbow hue to it.

"Did I do it right..?" He asked while looking at Celeste. Startled by his question, she hurriedly nodded before turning to avoid his gaze.

'What the..!? How did he become so much more handsome after the transformation...!? And, what is this feeling of suppression..?!'

Not noticing her plight, he nodded in satisfaction before turning back. Noticing the change in him, Celeste looked at him with wide eyes. She felt like her eyes would pop out.

"Wha..?! How did you turn back...?!"

He looked at the confused Celeste before smiling and saying, "I don't know why, but it seems, I have the ability to transform into the race of the person I am bonded to. Since I am bonded to you who is a spirit, I can change to a spirit. However I can't say for sure until I meet any other races and try it out..."

She sighed heavily before thinking, 'What kind of existence is my master to do something impossible...?' She didn't know there existed long and many adventures waiting for him. Of course she never would have thought she would be his companion in every adventure for the future as well...
