Next morning

In iron country

Tazuna:say it again please

We see Naruto on the breakfast table with tazuna and his family. The look of shock still not leaving tsunami and the look of worship not leaving Inari's face*

Naruto:of course tazuna sama. Gato is dead, the bandits most of them or dead and those who aren't either they'll go somewhere else now that they have no one paying them. Or they'll die by my hand. Haku Is dead may he rest in peace, and Zabuza is gone and won't be returning, you're village is safe and the bridge will be finished when we get back

Naruto said calmly as he finished his 3rd orange, tazuna couldn't help but let out a few laughs of just pure shock that his village was free. Naruto stretched a bit and got up*

Naruto:alright is everyone ready? We need to make a stop before going back to you're home

Tsunami:were are we going, if you don't mind me asking?

Naruto:to see the emperor of iron country

Naruto said taking a sip of his tea. Tsunami rolled her eyes unamused*

Tsunami; you can just say that I don't need to know, you don't have to be an ass about it

Scene change

We see Naruto in front of the gates of the emperor's palace with tazuna and his family behind him. Tsunami had her mouth opened in shocked while Inari squirmed as tsunami was combining his hair to look as presentable as possible. Naruto walked up to the guard and gave him a small bow *

Naruto:yes, Naruto Uzumaki. I sent a letter to the emperor and have a meeting with him

Kaede:yes, he's expecting you and you're guest. Do you know your way or do you wish someone to guide you?

Naruto:i know my way, it's not the first time I've been here. I appreciate you're concern though

Naruto and Kaede bowed to each other. Naruto walked inside with the other 3 following behind them. Tsunami quickly walked next to Naruto grabbing his wrist*

Tsunami;wait wait wait, me and my family can't go with you, to meet your leader looking like this! Just look at us!

Naruto:yes your Right, because I'm wearing a kimono made of the finest silks right?

Naruto said in a teasing tone while he played with the toothpick on his lips. Naruto waved his hand dismissively to tsunami and kept walking*

Naruto:you worry far too much, the empire is a kind, honorable, noble and humble man. He won't care how we dress, but make sure to treat him with respect I will not have any of you insult the emperor while I live and breath

Naruto said his tone changing to a cold and serious one that made the 3 of them nods there heads. They made it to the main room of the palace and tsunami couldn't be more nervous if she tried, the second she saw Naruto give a full body bow she did the same and forced Inari on the same position, tazuna bowed to*

Naruto:emperor mifune, thank you for agreeing to see me In such short notice. You're generosity is without equal

Mifune:yes, it's been a long time since last we've met Uzumaki has it not?

Naruto nodded with a smile that the ruler of his country remembered him and his family's name*

Naruto:yes my emperor, the last time I was graced by you're presence was in the tournament to qualify for the rank of samurai

Mifune:quite right, you were one of the victors. Please all of you rise, you've shown enough respect

They did as they were told. Tazuna and his family could finally see the leader of iron country Mifune Hirohito*

Mifune: you're here to ask me to send aid to this man and his village are you not?

Naruto:as always emperor you're intelligence is without equal.

Mifune waved his hand for Naruto to continue. Naruto placed his hand in his chest and started speaking*

Naruto:Yes, in my most recent travel I made it to there small island village that was overrun with bandits. All under the arms of this sick monster named Gato. The man was without honor, to make a long story short gato is dead and most of the bandits are dealt with, but I cannot stay in there village and protect them forever I am but one man, and I have my own journey to continue. But it would be against the samurai code to leave them without protection, that is why I'm here

Mifune:I see, I can give them set protection. I shall start the paperwork for it all. It'll take a couple of days but I will bring to that village food, water, and clothes for those who needs it, along with that I shall place a samurai and his family there to take control and protect set village that shall now be under iron country banner

Tazuna:if...if I may speak you're...greatness?

Tazuna said trying his best to speak with respect, Mifune waved his hand in approvement*

Tazuna:when you say take over what do you mean by that?

Mifune:it means that your village will become part of iron country, it means that you will get food, water, whatever assistance it requires in order to fix the damage this gato has caused. It means that the children of set village will get an education. It also means you'll be set for great things tazuna San since in his letter Naruto told me what you've done

tazuna got up and walked to tazuna who flinched when mifune grabbed his shoulder*

Mifune:for having the spirit of a warrior and fighting even when you knew it was a suicide mission you and your family will be rewarded when my help gets to you're village. You've fought enough sir it is time you finally get some rest Tazuna looked down his body was trembling as tears started to fall from his face. Mifune smiled at him and walked back to his chair*

Tazuna:this conversation is over, please leave I have much to do today

Naruto:yes you're emperor. Thank you for giving us your time, we will be forever grateful that you allowed us to be in you're presence

Naruto said full body bowing again, the other 3 followed suit, They got up and left. Once out his calm smile returned to Naruto's face as he turned around to see tazuna and his family*

Naruto:well. I believe it's time we go back to your home tazuna Sama. We have a bridge to finish

Tazuna and the rest nodded. Butterflies appeared around them, making the 4 of them disappear, and reappeared back to there village in a matter of minutes. Once there Naruto looked at tsunami and Inari*

Naruto:alright, while me and tazuna finish up the bridge you and Inari go in to town, tell the people of what transpire. I wish I could see there faces once they realize they're free but the bridge takes priority

Inari hugged Naruto, Naruto smiled softly and hugged him back rubbing his hair*

Inari:thank you Naruto, heroes do exist. You are my hero Naruto

Naruto:hehehe, you'll make me blush kid. Thank you I'll take that title with the highest of honors

Naruto said with a soft smile rubbing the back of his head, as always remaining humble. Tazuna had a shocked expression still on his face form everything he heard in iron country*

Tazuna:l...still can't believe all that's gonna come to this village in a few weeks, it's... Kami it's a huge difference then how we were treated in the leave village

Naruto:that's simple tazuna Sama. And Inari listen closely because what I'm about to say is also a life lesson Naruto released from the hug, he tossed his sword back to tazuna who caught it almost surprised that Naruto still sees himself under that promise he made to tazuna of keeping the sword if Naruto leaves without finishing*

Naruto:there's a difference between Shinobi and samurai. A strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others. Shinobi are strong yes, but samurai are stronger. Now come tazuna Sama we have a bridge to finish

Tazuna nodded and looked down at his grandson who had a smile on his face that tazuna hasn't seen since kaiza was alive. Tazuna walked away following Naruto*

Tazuna:thank you. You gave my grandchild his smile back, that's a debt I'll never be able to repay

Naruto and you never will have to pay back, It was my pleasure I assure you. I am but a simple warrior, you? You have a spirit that is only seen once in a generation. It was my absolute honor to be able to work side by side with you tazuna Sama, i shall cherish those memories till my dying breath

Tazuna chuckled patting Naruto on his back even after all this time working together, he still can't get over the way Naruto speaks*

Tazuna:yeah well, still thank you for granting the Wish of an old man I will also never forget it

Tazuna said while scratching his chin. They made it to the bridge, to Naruto's surprise the bodies were gone, thr bridged looked as if it was untouched, apart from all the blood. a small smile appeared on Naruto's lips*

Naruto "I appreciate the present Zabuza. I hope one day I can thank you for it"

Tazuna; man there's a lot of blood here, welp better start washing the blood off before going back to work

Tazuna caught a bucket and mop that Naruto took out from his scroll. He looked at the younger man who had his own pair and was already mopping the blood*

Naruto: a great journey starts with the first step tazuna Sama come and help me clean this up please

Tazuna:yup, right behind you

Tazuna said walking to Naruto both with a determination to finish this bridge and give the incoming people from iron country a view to be proud of once they see the bridge*
