Vulcan said standing in the passage. He was in the middle and Jite was to his right.
The passage was lit. Illumination seemed to be inspired by both the walls of the passage and the golden floor. Twas golden in there.
And thank goodness, there was only a line there. Which gave them a focus. The path was single and led to only a definite end.
But how definite it could be was yet hard to tell. They hadn't gotten to its end yet. They shouldn't be reminded that there were quite the numbers of mysteries in the ocean. Birthed by every second.
"Maybe she disappeared. What's there to be surprised about here?"
That was Jite. Vulcan looked at him. The fellow seemed to had just bagged a ton of courage or swigged a cup of it. That wasn't really the Jite he knew.
Probably the hidden traits they had just gotten had some perks to it which they were surely yet to figure out?
