In a room of a small two-floor house, a boy of around 15 years old was lying on the bed unconscious, with his body bandaged and with some visible bruises, it could be said that the young man had had a terrible accident.
Next to the bed, a blonde-haired woman looked at the boy with eyes of love and concern as she changed the boy's bandages.
After changing the bandages, the woman kissed the boy on the forehead and prepared to leave the room.
Right at that moment, as if the woman's gesture of love had worked a miracle, the young man's body shook a little and with a groan, the boy slowly opened his eyes.
"Where am I…?" the young man murmured, confused, looking around him.
"Ron…" the woman whispered when she saw this.
"Rooon!! Honey, you woke up!! "The woman shouted excitedly as she ran and hugged him.
"How are you darling, how are you feeling?" the woman asked as she examined him "Hurry up Pete!! "Come up, Ron woke up, Ron woke up!!" she shouted, looking at the door while she still held the young man in her arms.
"Wait…Ron…?" The young man said, bewildered by the whole situation.
Even without time to process what was happening, a man ran into the room followed by a small child who stopped at the entrance.
Ron, like the woman who had him in her arms called him, was completely out of place. As far as he remembered, he was at the university taking classes when a sudden dizziness blurred his vision and he lost consciousness. Now, just after waking up, he found himself in this strange place with this strange woman.
The room he was in, seemed to belong to a teenager, some band posters on the walls and some comics on the nightstand, everything seemed so strange but at the same time too familiar.
all this, plus the presence of the woman who kept calling him Ron, only made his confusion grow; His head throbbed, and upon touching it, he noticed a painful lump; little by little, the panic within him began to grow until he once again lost consciousness.
The next morning, Ron woke up again, this time a little more calmer, after his father(or the father of his new body at least), who was apparently a doctor, gave him a general check-up, Ron was finally able to make some sense of everything that was happening to him. It turns out that in some strange way, he had taken over the body of a 15-year-old boy after he fell from the roof of the second floor.
he didn't remember anything about the original owner, and the memories of his previous life seemed confusing and choppy. He had forgotten key pieces of his information such as his name or if he had family or friends, however other memories remained there, varied things like that he used to be 20 years old and was a medical student, he remembered some things he saw on television and fragments of his daily life at the university, too. He preserves his common sense and his personality, or so he wanted to believe.
After his new father, Pete, finished the routine checkup, he concluded that his body was recovering well but that he apparently suffered from amnesia due to the blow to the head he received in the fall, not knowing if this would be permanent. his mother Jessie (the mother of this body) had told him about who he was and what had happened before his transmigration.
At first, Ron felt guilty for taking the body of a child, however, once his mother continued telling him about the situation in this world, this became the least of his worries.
"Zombies," Ron murmured as he observed the wall under construction that could be clearly seen from the window of his room. Walls intended to protect the habitants of the community from the terror that had risen in the world approximately 4 months ago.
Apparently, not only had he transmigrated into the body of a teenager, but he was also now in a world where the zombie apocalypse was a reality. The strange thing about this whole situation was that the other survivors did not refer to the undead as zombies, they used Words like walkers, infected, wanderers, biters, etc. they had a whole series of ways to refer to them except zombies, in fact, it seemed that the idea of zombies was completely foreign to the people of this world.
Ron touched his sore ribs and stumbled towards the window. Along the streets people came and went, going about their daily tasks, as if the fact that the world was now in an unprecedented crisis had nothing to do with them. something very strange and stupid in Ron's opinion.
While he recovered from his injuries, Ron decided that he would survive no matter what in this new world and that, as payment for taking over his son's body, he would protect this family with everything he had.
hello all, I was watching The Walking Dead for the first time and even if it is a great series, I couldn't help but think what will I do if I was there, then, when I saw the death of Ron and his family I thought, dam it, I could do it better, so here I am trying my best to create a new history for those characters. this history will take place in Alexandria and will be a kingdom-building thing mixed with a surviving plot, I hope you enjoy it
