Chapter 55 Meeting Lee

When they had finished eating, John helped Carly to stand up. She was a little unsteady, but overall, she was walking very well. They walked to the door, John grabbed his rifle and pack on the way. John then moved the cabinet out of the way and opened the door. There were two walkers outside so John pulled his pistol out and shot them.

Carly was shocked how easily he killed them, she said, "Wow! John your good at shooting. How did you get so good?"

John smiled and said, "I used to be a soldier." Hearing this Carly nodded, thinking, 'That makes sense.'

John then led her over to his bike, Carly asked, "How did you get me here on this? I was unconscious."

John answered, "I held you close while I was driving." Carly hearing this was a little embarrassed, but she still smiled at John. John smiled back and then he climbed on the bike. Carly climbed on behind him wrapping her arms around him.

John then started his bike and started to drive down the road. Carly closed her eyes as she felt John abs, she moved her arms around feeling his abs and even his chest. John who was driving thought, 'She is pretty daring, huh.'

They continued down the road for a few hours. Carly tapped John on the shoulder, so he slowed down and came to a stop. Now stopped, John asks, "What's wrong?"

Carly says, "I have to pee." John nodded as he turned his bike off, and Carly walked over to the woods.

John followed her, but she said, "Hey, what are you doing?"

John looked at her with a confused face and said, "I'm coming with you. Don't want a walker sneaking up on you right?"

Carly said with a sigh, "Fine, but you have to turn around. I don't need you all up in my pussy."

John said, "Alright, no problem." But he was thinking, 'I'll be in your pussy soon, I'm sure.'

They then walked into the woods and Carly pulled down her pants and squatted down. Then she peed, as John looked around the area. When she finished, they walked back to the bike. John and Carly had a snack before they started to drive again.

Continuing down the road, they drove for about 2 hours, before they had to stop. In front of them was a stopped train, some of the wheels were off the tracks. John got off as Carly followed him, he observed and saw that the RV was nowhere to be seen, but he also saw that the caboose of the train was gone.

Carly said, "They must have left in the RV, let's go."

John said, "They might have left in the train. Even if they left in the RV, we don't know where to go. It would be better to follow the train. If they did leave in the train, we know which direction to leave in."

Carly nodded and said, "Alright, we'll follow the tracks and search for my group, but if they aren't there we'll come back here."

John said, "Sounds like a plan." The two of them then walked over to John's bike before they hopped on. They then followed the tracks for a while and eventually they saw a stopped train. They drove over and they stopped next to it. John and Carly then got off the bike and looked around.

It seemed the train had just stopped because Carly's group came out of it. The adults were cursing about the gasoline tank that was handing down over the tracks blocking their way. A little Asian girl with curly black hair, pointed at John and Carly, she shouted, "Carly!"

This caused the black man and the redneck looking man to look over at John and Carly. They jumped off the train as they ran over to Carly, ignoring John. When they arrived in front of her, they said, "Carly, how are you alive? We saw you get shot in the head."

Carly looked at them and said, "Lee, Clem, Kenny, it's so good to see you. Lily only grazed me, and I passed out. I can't believe that bitch shot at me. Anyway, I was saved by John who was passing by."

Lee and the rest looked over at John and saw him leaning against his bike, he looked like a badass. Lee walked forward and said, "Thank you for saving Carly."

John smiled and said, "No problem. Where are you guys headed?"

Lee looks at John closely before he says, "We are heading to Savannah. Clementine's parents were there before the start of all this. She wants to look for her parents there."

John nodded and said, "Okey then, I'll come with you guys."

Lee nods then he walks off with Kenny, they looked at the tanker and started to discuss what they were going to do. While they were doing that, Clem tugged on John pant leg and said, "Thank you for saving Carly, I like her."

John smiled at her as he bent down and said, "No problem, I'm just happy I could help her."

Clem then asked, "Where did you come from?"

John said, "I came from a group in Atlanta. I want bring Carly back with me. I could bring the rest of you back as well, and when you find your parents, we can take them back as well."

Clem looked at John with a beaming smile and said, "Okay!"

John then said to Clementine, "I think I have something of your." John then handed Clem the coloring book he took from the motel.

Clem said, "Wow! My coloring book. Do you have my crayons?" John nodded as he dug through his pack and took out a box of crayons, then he handed them to her. Clementine immediately sat on the floor and started to color, John sat down next to her and colored in the blank page next to it. He drew a peaceful meadow filled with butterflies.

Clementine looked at his drawing and said, "Wow! You're really good, can you teach me?" John nodded as he helped her with this. While John was coloring with Clem, Carly was looking at him with a smile, she was somewhat surprised that the badass man in front of her, was playing with Clem so well. Her impression of him grew even stronger and she was starting to feel something in her chest when she looked at John.

While John and Carly were with Clem, Lee and Kenny met a couple that was up on the bridge. Omid and Lee made a plan to cut the tanker down off of the bridge. Omid had a torch that they could use to cut the tanker down.

A black lady named Christa came over to Clem and started to talk to her. She gave John a look and John stood up as Christa took his spot. John then talked with Carly for a while learning more about her. John then walked away from her and went over to a building that was down the tracks.

John walked to the front door and kicked it down, he was met with an open area. Two walkers came shambling over to him, but John killed them quickly. John looked around and saw some crates, but they were locked behind some iron bars. There was another walker behind the bars, John called out to it, and it came over to the bars. John then killed it with his pick.

Walking over to the bars, John saw the keys sitting on a table behind the bars. John then used a magnet on a rope to pull the keys to him. John opened the bar door and walked into the barred area. Looking around John didn't find anything useful except some duct tape. John then walked out of the building and back over to the train.

When he arrived, he saw Lee and the group talking about how they couldn't risk using the torch because the hose had a leak, and it might explode. Hearing this, John took out the duct tape and handed it to Lee. Lee took it and immediately climbed the ladder to get on top of the bridge. Omid then followed them, they started to cut the hinge of the tanker. It slipped some and Lee almost got pushed off the bridge, but Omid saved him. With the hinge now further away, neither Lee nor Omid could reach, so Lee held Omid as he dangled off the edge of the bridge.

They were cutting the rest of the way through when Ben who was on top of the train yelled, "Walkers, thousands of them." Hearing this everyone got into the train, John picked up his bike and put it in the boxcar, Clem looked at this with glowing eyes. She said, "Wow! Look Carly. Isn't John strong."

Carly nodded as she said unconsciously, "Look at those sexy muscles." But she quickly caught herself and started to blush as John teased her playfully. The train began to move forward after they all heard a loud bang. John looked out and saw that the tanker had taken out the ladder.

When they were just passing the bridge, John saw Lee push Omid off the bridge, Omid fell on top of the boxcar, but he fell off and hurt his leg. John then saw Lee jump off the bridge, and he landed on top of the boxcar, then jumped off onto the ground, he wasn't injured at all.

Omid and Lee then began to run towards the moving train, Christa was about to jump off when John grabbed her shoulder and gave her a look. Then John jumped off the train and ran over to Omid, he lugged him over his shoulder and ran as he caught up to the train. John then tossed Omid in before he jumped in as well. Lee had also made it in just before them.

Carly ran over to John and hugged him, before she said, "Dummy, what were you thinking?" She then hit John's chest as John looked at her with a smile. She calmed down after a while and they started to talk about their lives before. They continued to get closer as they traveled.

Clementine climbed on top of John's dirt bike and was playing on it while she talked with Lee.

Christa and Omid sat in a corner as they hugged, feeling relieved that they had made it away from the walkers and they didn't lose each other. John walked over to them and examined Omid's leg; Omid had a pained expression. John handed him some pain pills and brought over his med kit.

John opened his kit and got out a suture kit, then he stitched Omid's leg. John then applied some iodine over the wound, to kill any germs that had gotten on it. John then wrapped it tightly with gauze bandages, and then wrapped it with some waterproof tape. Omid and Christa thanked John as he walked back over to Carly, John waved off their thanks as he talked to Carly again.

As they traveled further, John brought Carly to the front of the train and they felt the air hit their faces, the sun was beginning to set and the mood was very romantic, John kissed Carly softly as they stood there, Carly showed no resistance at all as she melted into John embrace. They were interrupted by a hobo looking man named Chuck, seeing him stand there nonchalantly, John and Carly walked back to the boxcar holding hands.

Carly was tired so John let her lay her head on his lap, he also covered her in a blanket. John also gave a blanket to Lee, who wrapped Clem up and held her as she slept. Lee nodded to him in gratitude.
