Chapter 28 Taking out Randal's Group

The next day, Rick and Shane left the farm early in the morning. Taking Randel with them, the group had decided that they would drop Randal off, somewhere far away from the farm. When they left, John had also decided to go into town. He said a quick goodbye to his girls and Beth before he left the farm.

He took a small car, and drove into town quickly, when he got to the town, he drove to the bar and got out of his car. He walked over to the car Randal's friend had tried to leave in. John saw that the man in question was now a walker, his face left arm and chest had very little flesh still on it. He was really ugly as a zombie, but this was an improvement.

John laughed at his joke, then he pulled his knife out and stabbed the walker in the head. He then dragged the corpse out of the car.

Searching around the car he found a pistol on the passenger seat; this guy must have dropped it after being shot. Putting the pistol in Eden John then started to search for something entirely different. He was looking to see if they were dumb enough to circle their based on the map, so they could get back.

John searched the glove box, and he didn't find any map; he was about to give up when he thought to search the corpse. John searched the body and found a small map. It had some blood on it, but the map was still readable.

Looking at the map he saw that Randal's camp was in another town nearby. He decided he would run to it, running in the woods to sneak up on them. With the plan in his head John started running. After about an hour and a half, John reached the town.

It looked about the same as the other town, but it looked to be a little bigger. John also noticed that there were less walkers in this area. Hiding behind trees and circling the town, John did not see any humans around. So, sneaking to one of the houses, it was a 2-story house. John broke a window and climbed inside.

The inside was like any house, but the walls were painted in odd colors. The room he was in, was an entertainment area, connected to it was the kitchen. The two rooms were separated by a counter. John looked around for a while before he went up the stairs and climbed out a window. He was now on a small ledge; he jumped and grabbed the edge of the roof.

Pulling himself up, John then sat on the roof hiding himself as best he could. He summoned a pair of binoculars, looked through them, John looked across the whole town. Going from left to right, John surveilled the whole town. He noticed a cross like structure in the middle-right side of the town.

John then zoomed in and what he saw made him furious on the cross was a small child, his wrists had been nailed to the cross and his legs had been cut off at the knee. It seemed the boy had been on the cross for a while because he was now a walker. John then looked around and saw some weird looking people kneeling on the ground and worshiping the walker.

Seeing this John decided he had seen enough, he climbed from the roof and landed on the ground. John changed his clothes to all black, now wearing black pants, a black shirt, black boots, and a black trench coat. John then put his M16 into Eden, he summoned a silencer for his pistol and equipped it. He then summoned an LMG, he also summoned some attachments for it. He summoned a silencer, and 2 huge drum mags, that could hold 500 rounds, he attached the silencer and then loaded one of the clips into the gun, putting the other mag on his waist.

John then ran towards Randal's group. He hadn't expected the group would be like this, he thought they would be different. He expected to find the bodies of women that had been used on the ground or locked in cages. He really didn't think they would be worshiping a walker, like it was a god. It seems Rick and his group hadn't faced the really crazy groups, like these, in the show.

Not caring about being seen anymore, John walked right up to the barricade that surrounded the group.

There were four guards standing there, they pointed their weapons at John and said, "Stop! Heretic, the holy demon is being worshipped at this time!" John hearing this didn't stop, he just kept walking toward the barricade.

Seeing this the guard opened fire, but they were shocked when their bullet didn't penetrate his flesh and kill him. John annoyed by the bullets hitting his nano suit, lifted the LMG in his hands and pulled the trigger. The guards were torn to shreds; their bodies completely unrecognizable.

With the guards now dead, John climbed over the barricade and saw that the people worshiping the walker, were now looking at him, disregarding their evil existence John pulled the trigger again, hundreds of bullets piercing through their bodies, elders, adults, and even some kids.

They dropped like a rock into the river, some of them tried to run for cover but they didn't make it far. John was like a god of death his bullets always meeting their target even when the people hid.

Seeing that this group of human garbage had died, he walked into the only building within the barricade, after reloading. John then walked through the building and what he saw, made him incredibly sad, he saw countless children and young women. Thrown into piles, with no care what soever. John had to avert his eyes, seeing this.

He walked further into the building and saw a lone door; he opened it and saw a man. This man was wearing the skin of a walker, he was looking toward John with a devilish smile. John looking at this man, finally understood what this place was. This was the first camp of the Whisperers, a group who worshipped the walkers and wore their skin.

It must be that only their leader wore the skin right now as it was still close to the beginning of the end of the world. John suddenly realized what a sick world he had come to, a world where some people could become worse than demons, monsters, beasts. A place where humans could become so evil, they were worse than the monsters that ate their flesh.

John looking at the monster in front of him, was overcome by anger. A rage so thick that, it was almost manifesting in an aura of pure red. All the things he had ever killed flashing in this aura of his rage. This rage all targeted towards the man in front of John, who had corrupted his people to such a degree. Leaving the bodies of dead women and children in piles, nailing young children to crosses and cutting their legs.

The man who had been smiling, stopped when he saw this aura forming behind John. He realized that he was at the mercy of John. He dropped to his knees and begged for mercy, but John didn't listen.

He summons a serum that wound increase the bodies sensitivity by a billion times. He then injected it into the man. The man who now had this serum coursing through his body, felt like his bodies was on fire, just feeling the air on his skin, felt like he was being skinned alive. When he felt this pain, he instinctively moved, the rubbing of his clothes on his skin made him feel like he was being whipped millions of times.

He kept writhing on the floor, his pain never ending, John looking at the man screaming in agony and crying his eyes out begging for mercy smiled. John felt happy to watch this man suffer in front of him for what he did.

John watched him writhe for 20 minutes, before he pulled out his knife and slowly plunged his knife deep into the man's skull. The man yelling and screaming the whole time. Then the noise stopped, and John pulled out his knife. Then he wiped it on the man's shirt.

John was about to leave when he heard the faintest of whimpers. Looking around he saw there was a latch under the desk. Throwing the desk of the way with a bang, John opened the latch. He climbed a ladder down, and in front of him was a small cage, inside of it was a young girl. She was around the age of 3 and she was crying loudly.

John seeing the cute little, girl that had red hair, like a strawberry and baby blue eyes. Could not help but break the cage open with his strength alone and carry the little girl. She was very small and felt like she was around 35 pounds, she was very skinny. Holding the girl, in his arms, the girl noticed that she was being carried and looked up with fear.

Her body was shaking, when she saw John looking at her with a happy and peaceful smile, she stopped shaking, noticing that it wasn't the scary man. She said, "Bad man here."

John looked her and said, "The bad man is gone, he won't ever scare you again".

John caressed her small head, comforting her, John then summoned her some crackers he had stashed in Eden and fed her. When she finished eating them, she was smiling happily and then she fell asleep, laying in his arms.

Climbing out of the dark and dreary basement, John walked through the building and put all the guns he found along the way into a bag, he also grabbed any medicine or other supplies that would be useful. John did all of this very quietly and did not wake up the little girl.

When John finished looting the place for all it is worth, John walked out of the building and set fire to it. He then grabbed any guns he could find in the yard, gaining quite a few extra guns.

After putting the two bags that had guns in them into Eden, along with the LMG. John then left the place climbing over the barricade, carrying the little girl in one arm and a bag of supplies in the other. When he was out of that disgusting place, John walked to a car that looked okay and drove back to the bar in the other town. He then moved into the car he came in and drove back to the farm.

When he reached the farm, it was evening time, and it was starting to get dark. The little girl woke up and looked around before focusing on John. She looked around as John walked into the house, the group was inside, and they were eating dinner. Maggie and Amy got up to greet him, when they arrived in front of him, they saw the cute little girl. Amy went to hold the little girl, but she started shaking, seeing this Amy immediately stopped and looked at John to ask why she was shaking.

John told his women that he had saved the little girl from a bad place. Amy hearing that slowly picked her up and showed her a sweet smile saying, "Hi, cutie what's your name?", John hearing her say this, face palmed, and thought to himself, 'I didn't even ask her name. Am I dumb? Hmm, NAH!'.

John saw the little girl look at Amy and smile before saying, "My name is Sarah"

Amy hearing this says, "Wow, what a pretty name.", Sarah smiled at this and continued to talk to Amy. Maggie had joined in, and they were both talking with the little girl. Seeing how thin she was, they brought her to the table and started to feed her some of the food on the table.

John seeing this, smiled before he walked up the stairs and took a shower. Then he wore his same clothes again, but he summoned a clean pair. Walking out of the bathroom, John went down stair and joined everyone at the table. Sarah came over and sat on his lap and he fed her some more while eating as well. The dinner was harmonious and peaceful, John focused on this atmosphere rather than the tragic things he had seen today.

John looked around and saw Rick and Shane both had beat up faces and John had also heard that they didn't leave Randal out there. They brought him back because he said he knew Maggie. Meaning he knew where they were sleeping by extension.

When they finished eating, they all went to their tents, while Maggie and Amy went to Maggie's room. John took Sarah to the bathroom and gave her a bath, she enjoyed herself playing in the bubbles. When she was all clean John took her out of the tub and dried her off before putting her in some clothes that fit her. Maggie had given him some old clothes they had in storage. Sarah was now wearing jeans and a pink shirt that had a bow on the front.

John then took her to the bedroom and lay down with his women. Sarah fell asleep quickly while sleeping on John's chest listening to his slow and rhythmically beating heart. Amy and Maggie on both of his arms using his shoulders as a pillow. John kissed both Amy and Maggie before sleeping with them for the night.
