The Meeting

At the other side of the countryside, six quad bikes ride towards the horse shelter in good speed. In the following minutes, they ride into it and pack their bikes at one side of the wooden house.

"Is The Man inside?" Jackson questions one of the staffs who's combing a brown horse.

"I think he is."

He and the crew bounce towards the underground elevator except for Jake who sits still on his bike in his disguise wearing a sad face full of regrets and retrospect.

He just watched a couple die right in front of him and didn't do nothing. He ain't suppose to just watch a couple die right in front of him. "I'm a cop goddammit," Jake murmurs to himself in sharp anger.

"What was that?" Bravo questions him with eyes staring directly into his.

"Nothing," Jake replies briefly. "You didn't go with the crew?"

"I came to get you. C'mon," Bravo bounces towards the elevator.

Jake stands up reluctantly and follows him. At this point it's beginning to dawn to him that this is the sacrifice he needs to make to go through this mission, and with this he swore to himself that he will bring down this cartel for the sake of sprinkled strangers blood.

Deep down the horse shelter, inside the cartel itself now, The Man sits on a small cube tank watching a bunch of people grinding drugs with what machines they have available to them.

Jackson walks up to him from behind, "Did you know one of our deliveries got stuck? It didn't meet our distributors early."

The Man turns in a bit of a shock, then looks up to Jackson's face," I don't care what you do. I only care about results..." He rubs two fingers of the same hand together gesturing: "...the money."

"Classic, old man. Classic," he takes a step to walk away.

The man grabs his hand back, "Come with me. We have something to discuss."

The Man stands up in the same instance and walks away without looking back. Jackson watches him for a slight second, then follows behind him.

The Man freezes on a spot and turns to Jackson again, "Bring your guys with you." He turns around in the same motion and continues further.

Jackson pauses, "Guys," he yells out loud to his crew.

They all turn to him in unison.

...

They tread on, through the darkness of the hallway which The Man once walked by himself. In the silence, their feets begin to drum against the ground as those their heartbeat, booming in a low tone.

Jake as his nature is looks to every side of the hallway, gathering up suspicion in his mind.

At the last of the hallway they meet a steal door which is already wild open waiting for them. Jackson walks without regard for second thoughts.

He and his crew go down the stairs still they meet the dim room underground the cartel. This time there's a steel table and chairs made of the same material, all around it.

The Man sits at one end of the table waiting for them. In another few seconds the guys all pick their seats.

"Jack...son," A voice echoes from the shadows.

Then Herod comes out in red eyes. Alongside his beta, Megan, who follows him closely like a bodyguard.

Jake is suddenly aghast, he widens his eyes at Herod even though he tries a much to remain calm.

"Since your ancestors died only The Man has been seen fit to hold our secrets to himself until he recommended you." Herod speaks with emphasis on every syllable he utters as his way is. He takes a seat at the head of the table facing Jackson who sits on the other head of the table.

"We don't see eye to eye do we?" Herod questions Jackson with a shrewd smile that vividly displays his fangs.

"We don't," Jackson responds in absolute calm.

Now Jake's doom is complete, shock eats up his head. Fangs could only mean two things, and no one believes either exists.

From the darkness in the room a damsel approaches the table, Elsa, a stunningly beautiful werewolf in her late twenties. Her hair is blunt and long, her physique is as curvy and finely shaped as anyone would imagine a dream girl to look like. Even in the dim room her skin radiates its gold clarion self. She stands beside Herod in her glamour like a secretary.

On the other hand, Megan walks around the table, just staring at everyone with eyes full of suspicion. At the sight of this eyes Jake calms his heart encouraging himself that he won't be caught yet.

As he struggles to calm his chest down while looking away to avoid Megan's eyes and at the same time observing Megan, to avoid getting struck down by her if by someway she figures him out, his eyes hit Elsa. And suddenly, in a awe-inspiring way all his struggle disappears. Every sense organ in his body immediately puts all focus on her, lost in the details of her angelic being.

This is a alien feeling to Jake, as he has never heard the calm voice of love whispering to his heart with recommends. Today it does, and he has suddenly turned into ice.

"Now you see me," Herod continues his conversation with Jackson. "I hear you've been acting more troublesome lately, trying to act as this rich people do. Jack...son," his name echoes across the room again.

Elsa's eyes caught Jake's. The connection is strong on his edge, and strangely it atones to her too. But as the thought of him being human creeps into her mind she veers away in shift confusion. But who can avoid the cool breeze of love, in a few seconds her eyes go to him again, this time purposefully. And there they freeze, both lost in the void of each other's eyeballs, their breath getting heavier and heavier every minute they spend, staring.

"You heard right, I have." Jackson responds to Herod. "I've got a good job, right guys?" He questions the crew in a grin.

"Yeh," they all hail simultaneously, apart from Jake who's on his own state of the heart business trip.

"That's not what we do," Herod disapproves sharply.

"Then what's the purpose of getting rich if we can't use our wealth as we please," Jackson lunches a question in a harsh tone, enhanced by his suddenly angry visage.

"Jack...son," his name echoes across the room a third time. "This is the ability to survive where everyone wants you death. We are not legal!" Herod tells calmly, not at all bothered by Jackson's accelerated change of tone.

"Wait!" Megan yells standing there besides Jake. She sniffs, "This one is not one of us!"

Instantly, Jake's breath jumps. All his cells get alerted for action. But how does he escape a hall full of enemy missiles. Then boom! Megan holds the man sitting next to Jake and throws him hardly on the ground.

Bravo bounces up his seat in slight anger, "That's Cybon."

Giving no room for opinions, Megan puts a hand on the man's face and tears out his mask with her horrific fingers. The man keeps his peace with total assurance that this is the day he dies.

"Tony?" Jake whispers to himself in surprise, staring at the man on the ground.

Unseeing the man's true identity, Bravo's rage dies, he moves back to his seat quietly.

"He's a Sainty," Jackson tells, provoked to red.

"How did he get in here?" Herod turns to The Man in a vexed expression.

Not paying the slightest attention to the argument in the room, Megan puts her feets at each side of Tony's face and twists his neck instantly. Then she raises him up and throws his body hardly to the wall.

She looks on all their faces again, and with a feeling of relaxation.

Following the suspense in the room Herod sniffs. All of a sudden his grimace changes to show pure vexation. He stares at Jake with eyes that look like the sharp peak of a dagger, "You! You're not one of us!"
