A New Beginning

Void smiled when he heard that and grabbed Daren. "I'll be transporting you now so hang tight." Without giving a chance for Daren to question, he immediately went at a speed infinitely faster than light. Daren nearly shit his pants seeing this. "What the hell is wrong with you, old man!? Can you slow down a little?" "Look, kid, if I don't go at this slow pace, we'll never make it to the planet I want to send you to."

Daren slowly became numb to the terrifying speed and even started to enjoy it a little. Soon, Daren and Void reached their destination. "Huh? Void, what is this planet?" Before he could get an answer, Void picked him up and threw him at the planet "@#%##@@!!???" Daren was too stunned to even speak legible words. Void heard this and smiled "Any questions you have, just ask that system I gave you. We may see each other in the future. Until then, go away." And he disappeared

As Daren was flying towards the planet at the speed of a comet, his eyes were completely blank. 'So I'm going to die again, huh? Wait, didn't a certain asshole say that I should ask the system questions?' "SYSTEEEEEM, SAVE ME!!!"

*Ding* 1% done loading for the Void system

"... Was that you, system?" Daren was stunned. 'How am I able to talk to the system right now? Wasn't I supposed to wait for a year before the system would activate? Could it be that Void lied to me?" Thinking this, Daren started to get angry and happy all at the same time.

*Ding* "Host, Master Void did not lie to you. I am currently only 1% activated. I am currently only able to tell you important information. Quests, items, and other important features will be unlocked once I am at 100%."

"I see, so I can only ask you for information, nothing else, right?"

Once Daren heard the last sentence from the system, he started to get excited. "Once I reach that stage, how badass would that be!?" After a few minutes of fantasizing, Daren started to calm down. "So, system, what is the first objective you have for me?"
