Defense (Part 2)

"What's the status on captain Joseph?" asked V.

"Sir, they've failed to secure the target with the cage but someone else is trying to deal with the monster..." he was suddenly confused by the reply until he was shown the security camera footage.

He saw what was unbelievable in his own eyes, Araza the little boy who Lillian fighting a Voidling head on. What a brave kid but he's still not professional enough to kill this thing. He already knew what type of monster it was since they fought before... of course he was the victor on the outcome of the match but it escaped before it can be killed.

"Sir, we will arrive there in ten minutes." said the pilot.

"Make it five." the flame princess stated.

V was getting worried not because the monster was going to destroy Araza... but what will happen if this kid finally realizes the full potential of his own hidden power.

Captain Joseph escaping the building because they cannot do anything at the moment. Seeing that his class was complete except Araza himself since he's fighting that monster to stall for them.

"Captain, please tell me something good?!" the Huntress asked.

"V and Catherine are almost near the building. We just need to hide for now."

"Copy that. Now you guys, FIX THE FUCKING WEAPONS AND WE WILL CAPTURE THIS CREATURE ONCE AND FOR ALL!" she ordered them.

"YES, MA'AM!" So they start fixing their weapons and traps preparing their one last defense.

"Contact Araza, tell him to lead the monster here." he said to them but everyone was shouting at one another.

"Are you crazy?! Forget about him!"

"We cannot leave someone behind, Soldier!" shouted the captain.

"He could be dead for all we know!

"Just leave him behind!"

The captain was not thinking about what they said and he doesn't believe a thing about their sayings so he looks at someone who knows that will bring him back to them.

"Cody, please contact Araza..." he said to him.

He nods in agreement.

Araza was now feeling weak as the creature continued to attack him with full force without any signs of stopping, he kept on receiving the powerful blows but he was not giving up the fight yet.

"Araza, do you copy?"

"Yes, I'm still here. The monster is unstoppable but that doesn't mean I'm defeated yet." he replied

"Good. We were ordered to make our last defense and the mission is to capture the creature." said by Cody.

"What should I do?"

"You need to bring it to us for a surprise attack. We need five minutes to set all of this up. Can you stall more?" he asked.

Araza was smirking. It was a challenge then.

"I'll do whatever I can to lead this monster." And there he ended his call.

In the background, people screaming, and everyone shooting at it while it was not focusing at them. As they continued the firing, the creature looked and jumped on them. Killing everyone without any remorse as it eats their heads and continued to feast on their organs.

"Humans... MORE HUMANS!" it shouted amused and continued to eat their arms and legs while screaming in terror.

"NOO! I DON'T WANNA DIE-" It ate his head and licked it's lips.

He sat down in shock and there he rested for a minute or two because this is tiring, He never knew that fighting on his own limits are that tiring but of course all this is not without any reason for sure. He finally thought of a plan to defeat this monster but he'll need more time to make his new weapon.

"Please help me..." the man said crying in tears and half of his body was not there anymore.

He looked at Araza and had his eyes widened until it held him and eats him alive.

"You know this humans are so delicious that I can eat them all day!" it shouted in excitement.

The monster was glaring at him getting annoyed by his attitude of not getting disgusted, it stopped eating the remains of it's victims and starts to walk towards him.

As it looked at him straight in his eyes.

"Why are you not giving up yet?!" shouted the creature.

He was just looking at it and is trying to catch his breath from all the fighting from earlier while trying to stall more for his plan to work. He just smirks at the monster and laughed evilly to it as his eyes were now glaring lifeless as usual.

"You may wonder why I'm resting and not focusing on the fight or to be clear why am I just letting myself get killed by my own actions? Because this is all too easy, I can see your combo, you're too slow for me and that's why I'm taking a rest to prove to you, You're nothing." he said to it so confidently.

The monster now flinching in anger and was getting confused on what this human is saying.

"I mean look at you all big and fucking acting like you're more superior than me, I never met someone who looks so stup-" he was punched in the face by that monster making him fly into another wall.

He was laying on the ground trying his best to stand up and looked at it as if he knew what he must do.

"Vaduu.. I think it's time to use that SECRET we've been keeping for so long? We need to make this quick and easy." asked Araza.

"Are you sure about this, Boy? There is no way of regenerating from this..." as he just nods at Vaduu.

"I'll take my chances. There's no time to lose, just-" as he was about to finish his request, the monster decided to hold him by his neck and to strangle him until he dies.

"Do... It!" continued Araza.

Feeling his body getting weak, it felt his knees not struggling anymore and began to throw up blood in it's hand. He was losing conciousness and was desperately trying to get out of it's hold but his own body was now laying on the floor.

The Voidling was getting confused onto what's happening to him but it looked no further and was tired of this little runt so he walks up to him and decided to squash his head.

"So you were just all talk after all. What a wast-" a beam of red light suddenly shot up from his body.

It was blown away by it and he stood up slowly...

Smoke emitting out of his skin, and something black-like goo was crawling on his arms covering it. A red-black symbiote was making it's way to his face forming a black mask and there was an armor forming, A knight like armor which was odd.

He looked at the monster and smirked as it was surprised by the sudden change in him.

"Look what you've done, Monster." he said to it.

They both just stood there glaring at each other.

"Fight me, are you ready to die?" he said in a very scary voice.

The Voidling can't take this human's confidence as he ran on his side with such high speed but then he countered him by kicking it's face seemingly he knew where it was even if it was fast.

And punched it afterwards making the creature fly towards the another wall.

"Now stand up monster, where's your fucking strength now?!" he was provoking it.

As the monster stood up it's skin was all suddenly falling triggering another type of evolution which make him flinch and grit his teeth.

"You've done it now... I'm not gonna waste my time dealing with you!"

It then rushed to him while laughing maniacally.
